There are so many things I should be doing and yet I get completely absorbed in watching these makeovers for these poor neglected pups. Thank God for this man and anyone else who’s doing this for free. I know it’s probably not feasible, but it would be great to find out what happened to this pup once he got to his new life.

The amount of street dogs and ditto cats is unbelievable in Serbia, where this is taking place...
Eastern Europe is now more connected to us in the West, but when it comes to animal care, it is still very brutal, in general. But also in EU countries like Spain, Greece, and Croatia, there are still feral strays in the streets. 😢

I'm aghast by his condition. How sinful it is to let him suffer for years, poor dog! You say he had trouble stepping into the cage, a bit later we discover his nails are also too long. Thank you for choosing to work with these matted dogs, Damjan. You relieve them of their misery and give them hope. Hope this cute senior will get the love and comfort he so deserves.
Please thank your friend the veterinarian. He is a Godsend to both you and all these dogs he has helped with. You and your wife are also God-sent and so giving. I just dont understand why these people purchase or adopt pets and then forget they are a lot of care and expense involved in this adoption that they don’t give a thought about clearly.
I have not stopped crying since I first laid eyes on this poor dog. I can’t believe people that “supposedly love their pet would allow this🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵😢😢😢😢😢

Nursing tip: tape one side of garbage bag opening to table for easy filling. Great to see you have switched to larger bags. One bag taped to each side will make bagging sooo much quicker. Thankyou for helping this wee lad

Thank you for actually taking action and seeking justice for this baby. I see a lot of groomers on here who will make excuses for the owners and not report them. You are one my favorite groomers bc you truly care and do something about it
Don’t blame the groomers. Often there is very little the law will do and if they say anything then the person might just not get the dog groomed
There needs to be a much better dog welfare/ rescue system in Serbia.
❤ How can something to this extent even happen?? It’s beyond cruel and horrible! But then the value and worth of life isn’t very high anymore! When we know how many unborn and born human babies are slaughtered every day…then the value of animals isn’t there either!

The heartbreaking groom of a lifetime. The dog suffered extreme abuse. Damjan is such a great groomer! I've watched this 3 times and can't miss Damjan's hurt heart at the state of this dog. I watch all his grooms and he has such a heart for dogs! Can't stop watching!

Unbelievable how bad that breed can get. This poor dog had to be suffering for years and years. We would love to see a follow up to see how happy he is now. Only good thing is it seems he was fed well. Your gentle touch with these poor souls is so heartwarming.

I don't understand how someone who saved him as a baby could cause him such horrible neglect when he got older. Oh Damjan I felt so bad. I really felt like you just didn’t know what to do sometimes with this poor dog because he was so bad. Every time one of those dreds would clunk on the table all I could think about was that dog having to drag those around all the time. If the smell was bad for you I can only imagine what the dog had to bear as they can smell so much better than we can. Thanks for saving him ❤❤❤

I ask God to Bless you for being the kind and caring couple you are🙏 I agree that this dog has not been groomed for many years cause I have a pure bred Havanese🐾 and her hair needs constant brushing and grooming. People need to know certain breeds of dogs take more care than others.I'm so glad this fur baby 🐾 isn't going back to the horrible "torcher chamber" he had to call called home which it definitely wasn't!!! This poor little fur baby, I’d love for you to do a follow up on him so we can see what he actually looks like now, I’m sure he feels much better now that you took him away from his previous owner, I hope the authorities will do something to the owner or at least ban him or them from ever owning an animal in the future, they deserve jail time but that probably won’t happen but stopping them from ever owning an animal ever again is at least something, my heart was breaking watching you clipper this beautiful little guy and how good was the Vet for allowing you to use his clinic but I guess being a Vet you have to Care about All Gods creatures. I've been watching this RUclips channel for years and I can say this man was furious at this dogs condition. He controled his temper but the fact the dog was not returning to.the owner says everything! Thank you!

What a poor baby!!! Someone needs to go to jail! A dog is not something to throw in the garbage and it hurts me to see the total neglect. This dog is owed a lifetime of quality care from a very loving owner. You guys are the best.
I agree that there was neglect, but, this poor dog didn't get like this overnight. We don't know anything about the owner as well ... maybe they have dementia, or are ill, and not even able to care for themselves. If it was deliberate, then yes, they should be prosecuted and never agan allowed to have any animals under their care. If you ever see a dog that needs help, please try not to judge, and just offer help. The $ that we can afford to spare can make a difference.

Thank you for your willingness and infinite patience to tackle the clipping and cleanup of this horribly neglected dog. I could feel your sadness at the beginning of the groom and your growing anger throughout as you continued to groom him. I mentally noted to myself that if you were a dragon we would have seen flares and smoke emanating from your head long before you were done. I fully understand where that anger comes from and I hope that once you are done with the groom of each of these cases, you are able to go home and let the anger and negative feelings roll off of you. Take care of yourself not just physically but also mentally as this also takes a toll on your emotional well being. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I know that dog is giving its thanks also. God Bless for all that you and your wife contribute to the fight against animal neglect.
