I keep thinking he is going to bend the note up really high how BB King does. Thank you for this post. This is extremely rare. I am about to turn this video into an mp3.
stevie better not fuck around on this, cause this a b b king classic from the 1961 album my kind of blues. well b b and stevie were good friends so I know my boy ain't gonna fuck around on this.
@@nickriviera113 Normally guitar players play on Standart tuning,(EADGBe) Stevie used to play half step down, gives a different sound so it would be (D#,G#,C#,F#A#, d#) the song is on A standart, so he had to play 1 fret to the right
Anyone who talks shit about stevie knows nothing about HEART and SOUL! SRV was and still is the GREATEST. Love u man RIP

Any info on where or when this was recorded? Thank you.
P.s. it's crazy good. I like the version from Harlingen also.
I’m really not sure at all but from what I’ve seen, he performed this song before his big break. So pre 1983. But like I said, I have no clue lol
He performed in Harlingen Texas before???

what a stupid comment
The irony is that stevie tunes down a half-step, so it looks like he is playing in A#, but he's playing in A natural.
What??
