For anyone who is looking to buy these brakes - there are versions M4, E4 and IV4R which are quite the same price, but IV4R is the latest and greatest version. You're welcome.
@@Obiutary I'm not sure, haven't tried yet. The clamp looks really similar - or 100% the same - as Trickstuff Maxima's brake clamp and Trickstuff is manufacturing adapters for Shimano and Sram. There is also similar looking adapters for sale on Ali.
What are they? Air brakes? You completely skipped the whole reason I was watching the video. Bleed screw? How did the whole filling the system with hydraulic fluid and bleeding the brakes go?????? got any pointers on that?
Juicy threes ARE pretty terrible, however I literally had old school Juicy 7 on my 2017 S-works Enduro 29er until last year and they worked great. You must have sintered pads and a strong finger, but one finger stopping was not an issue. Since I have replaced them with 4 piston ZTTO calipers and shimano XT levers. ZTTO levers felt way too mushy. This setup still needs more testing.
Great video bro. I have a question. In Aliexpress the front figure has a measurement of 82 cm and the rear of 145 cm. What happens is that I currently have a specialized stumjumper comp alloy from 2019 in size L, so I read in many forums that the rear cable, that is, the rear brake is very short, is this could be true since the rear cable of the e4 Pro is 155cm, 10 centimeters more than the one here.
hahaha these have better feel than magura mt7 or code rsc, just not that powerful. Keep paying 400 plus for brakes to keep your narrow perspective of the world, wouldnt like the feel that youre getting played for paying 1300 on a pair of brakes or even 300-400. Feels bad to admit the consumer is getting ripped off so fkn much I know.. takes a man to admit that
I am writing from a translator. Please tell me, they say that the handle has become much more backlash than the old version of the IIIPro E4, is this true?
Juicy 3 had nice enough power for me when I was a kid, but I wa slight then, but the return spring/ master cylinder spring wor eout so the lever was returning slowly, seals were worn so ha dbo power then. But this will happen to any brake at some point. I had. On issues locking up the wheels. But the pads could not be taken out from the top. And they used dot brka fluid. Which I hate as it's toxic, bad for eyes. I've never tried them since. But when enw they grabbed well. But had a different feel to other brakes. But did the job until I simply wore down the consumable wear parts. I only us eminerlanoil brakes now. But having spare parts is a must. So I won't buy these brakes. I have Formula Cura 4 which I rebuilt recently. Did a full caliper anf caliper rebuild. But with those brakes rgtec levers is a must have upgrade as the original levers have crappy bushings that wea rin less than 400km.

Do you know if the bar clamps can support having a dropper lever or suspension lockout / shifter attached for better Handlebar management?

Hey, have you taken the IV4R’s on any longer descents? Im considering buying them but there are hardly any lengthy reviews. Thanks
@@turtle6234 they really arent brakes for downhill, but for everything else they're are bang for the buck.
what do you mean you cant bleed like a shimano?
Hi nice brakes, but ehat you mean , you can’t bleed it like Shimano ( example the rear brake) what you mean? 🥸
Do someone know if any hope "bore caps" (or piston caps, dunno how to call these correctly) fit here?

My rear was super long. I don't remember the measurements off hand unfortunately. You're saying your stumpjumper is 10mm longer than what's spec'd?
The lever design is an inspiration off of Trickstuff. Not positive they will admit that, but there are definitely corners cut for that price paid.
The entire brake is an "inspiration" of Trickstuff.
@@Gungarrnah calipers are hope
Yes, and they did not machine out in the middle. I don't know if it scus they don't know how. Or don't bother to save cost.

Interesting, haven't tried that, but I imagine if you have the mount that just uses the same bolt it might work.
Do you know what olive and insert are compatible ?
I'm by no means an expert but I believe Shimano by the looks of it.
I am writing from a translator. Please tell me, they say that the handle has become much more backlash than the old version of the IIIPro E4, is this true?
I've never had any experience with the older version. I have not had any problems with lever feel on these yet. Hope that helps.
@@evelkestriegel thank you very much. so it's worth taking these brakes
I think you mean play, as in the lever wiggling.
Can you tell us if Shimano pads fits on the caliper?
Takes Hope E4 pads.
WHERE TO GET REPLACEMENT PADS ???
Many of those calipers are centered around your regular Shimano pad with the cooling fins. At least my ZTTO ones are
@@Andrei_K1G1K Thanks for Reply , So Shimano Pads Will Fit ???
@@jonienglish3231 Not sure about these, but the ZTTO ones yes.
Hi, are hope v4 pads
Takes Hope E4 pads.
NOT HOPE V4. The V4 PADS ARE 2MM TOO LARGE!!!!
looks great son.
Do Shimano pads fit those brakes ? Lookin to buy some metallic ones..
I haven't gotten to test that yet unfortunately
Hope E4 pads fit.
If I worked for hope I would be terrified of this video
The caliper is a shitty copy of Hope Tech. The rest is bad copy of Trickstuff Maxima without the weight reduction machining.

80 € не дёшево.
За 80€ можно купить shimano deore / SLX
Или поддерженом состоянии XT / или magura
Still no dust seal on master cylinder. It will die a leaky death from master cylinder after few muddy rides...
