Project "Elsifour" My Off Road CB400T Build Gets Some Parts!
Ordered a few more parts for the Elsifour! A new "Cafe Racer" Tank from Amazon as well as a "brat" style seat! Some Universal fenders from ufo and this thing is really starting to look like an offroad bike!
This is a project I've had on my mind for over 7 years. I'm taking two bikes, a 1978 Honda CB400T and 1986 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk and turning them into a one off custom dual sport / adventure motorcycle I'm dubbing "The Elsifour". This project is a tribute to the 1979 Honda CR250R Elsinore AKA The Red Rocket!

    comment for the algo, but... hundred dollar hard tail sounds like a huge win! another advantage I've found with plastic pedals is that when you strike them on rocks or on the road, they dont bite the surface as much, they just kinda slip? a big safety upgrade! so far they feel the same, same in the wet, same life expectancy. same same but better! I'm running them on my 300 quid second hand Specialized Sequoia gravel/tour bike. it was scratched and a bit wonky and had a bent hanger... but so do i! (*ba dum tish) happy trails, keep it tidy, and all the best! good luck for the year of the snake! YEEEEW!

    What I gathered from other reviewers is that once you pull da clutch, it goes into manual mode only for 30 seconds. Then it switches back to e-clutch mode. There is a light indicator on the dash that tells you when the E clutch is active

    Great video bro. I have a question. In Aliexpress the front figure has a measurement of 82 cm and the rear of 145 cm. What happens is that I currently have a specialized stumjumper comp alloy from 2019 in size L, so I read in many forums that the rear cable, that is, the rear brake is very short, is this could be true since the rear cable of the e4 Pro is 155cm, 10 centimeters more than the one here.

    • @evelkestriegel
      @evelkestriegel 2 месяца назад

      My rear was super long. I don't remember the measurements off hand unfortunately. You're saying your stumpjumper is 10mm longer than what's spec'd?

    • @Edward-Norton
      @Edward-Norton Месяц назад

      @@BobbyDee8644 Really? You'd rather have a clone of something than the actual thing being cloned. Their is a reason the Icebear's are cheap and it's not because they are better. I think it would come down to how much you will actually ride it. If your going to pull the bike out once a month and don't care much about keeping up with traffic then get the Icebear. The Icebears may hit 45 tops.

    The XMax300 will outperform most of the cafe racers of the 1960s but you are not recognised by Harley riders or sports bike riders. I’ve just given up big bikes as I have just had my 78th birthday, but I’m enjoying the little Yamaha scooter just as much as the Suzuki 1000cc bike I had until recently. The only problem is that the insurance costs in the UK are higher than the Suzuki presumably because scooters get stolen more frequently.

    Im not surprised it rides just like new at that mileage. I've seen some with 100K miles at some local bike nights I go to and they're confident it'll go for quite some time after! I recently got into baggers with a Moto Guzzi Flying Fortress, but as beautiful as it is, I am not at all confident this bike will make it much longer. it's got 22K miles now and while it's perfectly healthy, the lack of parts (it took me 5 months to get a very simple part for it) made me squeamish about keeping it. I guess, I'll be on a Challenger soon then!
