Ya I kept starting new chars in the original launch. Once I'd get mid 60s the grind got hella boring. Been playing this league about 6 hours and I'm level 52. I actually like just being able to go into a hell tide and kill tons of shit. That's all I ever wanted 😂
I'm not even joking, I have Diablo 4 since launch. Never passed lvl 70. Now i'm 90 and still want to play. This is the best season EVER. I hope other classes can come near what necromancer does so we can enjoy in the same way all the other classes.
That is 100% how I feel. The affix tempering system is so much like vampire survivors in that you can get that random extra buff that is in the general wheelhouse of your thing. In a way D4 turns that on its head by making you gamble on those buffs for your items... If you brick the item after all your tries and don't get it, that's okay. You'll get items to place those within minutes of jumping in again. They put Id ahead of Ego on the first 100 levels and then made the endgame all about the ego. And that is how it should be.
I had the same problem with the boulder not casting and it happens frequently not only do you lose the boulder but you lose the damage and still lose your spirit.

I mostly die due to opening the map. You need to open the map to navigate helltides. My sorc just blows up if I'm not stacked etc. You get your first warning when you are dead.
It's definitely much safer to just ride out of the Helltide on horseback, than to teleport, because demons spawn way too fast; teleporting is actually slower than enemy respawns in the Helltides LOL
@@charlesqbanks I don't really mean teleporting, although that is also more difficult than it needs to be. I mean you have to open the stupid fullscreen map to see where chests and maidens etc are located. You won't get much done if you running to hide for a safe map reading session every time. But the enemies will also spawn on top of you and attack in about one second of not paying attention. I think maybe what we need is a transparent map, or burst protection while in the stupid fullscreen map.

Love the mob density in Helltides but it's annoying when u want to teleport out honestly. Now they just have to buff the drops for prism pieces to slot jewels on armor, like let it be scrap material for legendary accessories
Made my first barb last night and got to level 50 in 2 hours and im already in world tier 4 thanks to some homies. Been having a good time back on this game
The improvement in pace is welcomed. It's not PoR level (nothing is), but it feels way better. The last thing i want in an ARPG is running for 25 seconds between packs.

PvP in this game to me just seems useless and a waste of time… especially in hardcore because in PvP you die foreal and have to start a new character
no excitement when lvlng, no excitement when finding items. Fell asleep and woke up and i still alive while grinding. Gamers now are easily entertained
I've played since day 1 of Launch if D4 and as of right now things SEEM better but I'm not sure how. It's still boring and the gear I'm getting hasn't been much better than before.

there's a chinese buffet by me, and usually i'd go for the sweet and sour chicken, lo mein, that sort of thing, but i tried an unassuming slow-simmered pork dish because it's a buffet so why the hell not, and the execution of this dish is flawless every time. the pork is tender, the vegetables aren't soggy or underdone, the sauce is savory and perfectly seasoned with no MSG (it gives me migraines). i asked one of the servers about it, and she said it's nothing special, just a dish their family made back in China. i told her it was wonderful, and to please compliment the chef for me. and that's how d4 feels to me: the more the devs go back to basics and stop trying to please everyone, the more things i find to like about it. good execution can elevate simple things and make them, if not glamorous, then at least, satisfying.
It’s the sauce .. the way they make there main 4 addiction sauces (sweet n sour, general tso, teriyaki, and the almond chicken one) - they could be cooking whatever kinda meet and we would devour it - 🐔 🐮 🐠 🐱 🐶 🦎 🦓 🦒

Dungeon events do actually provide decent XP now since it's similar to a cursed chest etc. Just spawns a bunch of shit that you blow up really fast. Also let me know if you make a functional life regen build. I would like to see it happen.
Minion Necro is sick, level 84, basic glyphs, paragon board incomplete and beat Duriul, Andarial, Zir, Beast in the Ice, Gregior, and opened and beat the first level of the pit. Actually fun to play even with my character miles from complete.
Hit 100 last night, leveled all my glyphs to 21, killed Duriel and Andariel. Crazy how fast leveling is now. I guess I can do the Pit some more and improve my gear. Or maybe this will be the season I actually attempt to kill uber Lilith.
Just imagine if they added stuff like this every season plus added a seasonal theme. Everything they've done needs to stay, and they need to add to it, rather than take away and add to it. Give us more things to grind for, we will stick around. Super fun so far
The game is WAY better now. They’ve made a lot of QoL changes I’ve been wanting for a long time (the biggest being the legendary aspect change that I’ve been suggesting since season 1 lol). One of the minor complaints I still have though is how hard it is to teleport or do anything that can be interrupted by taking damage. Mob trickle is real where they come at you one or two at a time from every different direction. Maybe the threshold for how much damage it takes before you get interrupted should be a few times higher than it currently is so that one or two normal mobs can’t interrupt you
They should implement seasons into the eternal realm, because rework or not, I have no interest in farming more than the battle pass, since whatever character I create, I won't use ever again. So, yes, the rework is good, but they have to do something about that. I'll give them their money every three months, I don't care. But they lack of continuity is what f*cks up the game for me. So I unlocked the battle pass content and I went back to D2R.
Such an open ended question. What build are you running? The only druid build that does not massively benefit from starless is stromclaw. If you’re not running stormclaw then use starless.
I was in 2 different 'beta weekends', got to play live a few days earlier than launch, but unfortunately left halfway through season 2. Itemization was my main problem (among a lot of other things). Now I'm back with peaked interest...because "Loot Reborn". We shall see how it goes once I get to 'end game'.
I have a 4090 and haven’t had a single issue. Minus I disabled DLSS because it was causing frame rate issues when opening menus but they fixed that already. What are you dealing with exactly?
@@GDub356 loading d4 was nearly impossible so I had to turn off in windows 11 settings under graphics settings:hardware accelerated gpu scheduling. once I did that somehow d4 now loads and works. in all 3 seasons never had this issue before. mine 4060 rtx nvidia graphic crard
Endgame is unfortunately still lacking. They need to add a T5 150+ open world. They also need to add other tier boss fights; boss fights jumping from level 85 to 200 is too large of a gap. World bosses are still a huge joke that you are forced to near insta kill, for necessary mats.
Played for about 4 hrs yesterday and already hit lv 50. I even went back to my og characters in eternal and ran a few nightmare dungeons. The game is a lot better now
But the tempering is good and bad same time, good if u can make your play style build gear, the bad is limited tempering! I have broken 4x item with 3x greater affix because of that :( they has to solved this issue
Helltide is actually wild now, if somehow i find people who has bunch of hearts, we can just stay at the boss area and keep farming the boss, I can get two bags worth of legendaries and tons of the chips, that’s enough to get most of the chests in the helltides.
