I play from PS5 and I’ve made the same test at Las Vegas and Mexico with all cars testing the top speed of each one with and without drs opened, using the default balanced setup. They all reach the same speed in any condition I’ve tested.

Yea its never accurate to real life. The current short geared cars not only go faster but they get there sooner too, which the game doesn't replicate.
