props to his engineer as well. Both of them were outstanding that night !
Yeah, it must have been quite a job for the engineer and team to sort through the data and real time and come up with actionable suggestions. A bit like guiding the stewardess to land a jumbojet. Tiny bit.
tbh i was rlly worried and got flashbacks when he said box ollie box for the double stack@@Cloxxki
Crazy to think he still has more points in F1 than F2 this year
I know right?
Aus was the first f2 race I have watched. And I was like Ollie did better in F1 than F2 lol
@@jonnymartin3694 his F1 debut was impressive, but if he doesnt at least contend for the title in F2 I dont see him getting a seat
He is Jewish no wonder the hype 🤣
Than Sargeant in F1 career
This will be a fun episode of Drive to Survive next season.
I’d be willing to watch it!
Terrific job by Riccardo Adami, he guided Bearman really well that race
I think Ricci will work well with Hamilton.
Riccardo Adami >> Xavi Marcos Padros
Reminded me a lot of Bono with George- Sakhir 2020. Both excellent engineers
Bearman’s brilliance aside, this is quite a landmark edit for various reasons
1) Finally transcribing the radio comms, which for some reason was missing on Inside Story videos
2) Constantly marking the live position of the car (with driver immediately ahead and behind)
3) Most importantly, getting Sky F1 commentary as snippets as well. Great to hear Crofty’s voice again!
I was thinking the same about hearing crofty’s voice
Yeah I hate the new highlights not having the sky sports commentators
Fun fact: Bearman's neck was starting to fail after Norris and Hamilton pitted, and you could see his head was moving side to side in the corners as a consequence. To finish P7 on his F1 debut despite this issue has really left me with no words about his brilliant performance. Well done Bearman!
What a drive! He was perfectly in control and did his job fully and correctly!
Now we need to see some more of this young, talented man.
He is ordinary in f2 ….. He is Jewish no wonder the hype 🤣 from the media
I agree completely! Oliver's driving style was fantastic; fun to watch and engaging. What a performance!
I still remember when Coulthard said about Hamilton that he's still too young and inexperienced for F1 at 23 years old.
Max got flak at first, too...
do you remember when F1 cars were nimble, dynamic, and didn't sound like dogshit?
Hamilton did experience growing pains even in his first title winning season in 2008. In Bahrain and Japan he made bad starts, panicked in his attempt to undo the damage, leaving him worse than he started, finishing well outside the points. In Canada, he and McLaren were too preoccupied with the loss of the lead to notice the red light was on at the end of the pit lane, resulting in him running into the back of Kimi Raikkonen, taking them both out.
@@SiVlog1989massa got lapped twice and spun 5-6 times which is ten times worse
Kimi bottled it multiple races like spa and Monaco
So for someone who’s only had one season experience and robbed in spa 08 he did better than his experienced rivals
@sadikurrahman4833 the point I was getting at was that it was expected that Hamilton would make mistakes, after all, it was only his second full season of F1 and unlike his phenomenal debut season, where he admitted that he was largely out of the loop when it came to him making the headlines, the pressure was on for his second season, especially as Alonso had left McLaren to return to Renault. All 3 of the leading contenders for the 2008 title had peaks and valleys, in other words, for every moment of brilliance they displayed, they had moments of madness as well
I really want to see both Bearman & Lawson on the grid sooner rather than later. Both drivers showing huge potential.
Bearman had a great car though, helps a lot
I suspect Bearman will be in a Haas next year and Lawson in the RB.
Bravo Ollie! P7 on debut only learning that he would be driving like an hour before FP3 when he was getting ready for F2 sprint race, to then go to a meeting with Ferrari, FP3, qualifying P11 to fending off more experienced drivers at 18 years old.
11:35 Ricky : "I'll leave you alone, no more radio"
*one eternity later*
12:02 "Russell may have an issue in front"
if russell had a real problem bearman was risking a crash, ricky did a great job here🤓(sorry for being serious)
I’m glad You all over at F1, decided to make this video in honour of the fact!
It really was a Stellar performance!
It’s takes someone special to just jump into a car, and bring it home in the points!
Credit where credit is due.
Very well played Oliver Bearman! 👏
He is ordinary in f2 ….. He is Jewish no wonder the hype 🤣 from the media haha
@@Max__apex He finished 6th last year in F2 with 4 wins in his rookie season. He is not ordinary
@@Max__apex That has absolutly nothing to do with why he's all over the media, and some would consider that very antisemetic. Hes hyped in the media because on his F1 debut for FERRARI of all teams he finished ahead of Lando Norris and 7x WDC Lewis Hamilton. Thats not bad for the first time in that car, and with a neck that gave way after lap 25.
@@Max__apex What a moronic comment.
He finished what 7th or 8th in a second fastest car on the grid. That is not impressive. If you take into account that it was his very first experience with f1, its medicre at best
I love the detail in the engineer coaching. I bet Bearman asked to be bombarded with any info that would help him drive better and avoid errors.
I hope when Ollie becomes full time F1 driver he gets a competitive car.🏎🏁🏆
Let's go Ollie!!!!
Wonder how his contract witj Ferrari is written up? Is there a possibility of another team taking him from Ferrari and giving him a spot in F1.
Yes another team can take him but then he needs to leave FDA which makes his chances of getting the Ferrari seat in the feature much harder. @@savagepete8258
@@savagepete8258 I'm not sure.
If it were a William or sauber he will be just average
i think hes going to haas :(
Great to heard Crofty’s voice in this video.miss this so much.
Croft's a clown
Fantastic editing! Special shout out to all who made this video possible.
I really enjoyed it. The move on Tsunoda after SC was fantastic! I would certainty watch more edits like this 😊
This kid is mature beyond his years. I was extremely impressed with this young man. I've been following F1 since the 70s, and this young racer is going to be a champion. Just think he is only 18.
The way Ricci guided Ollie ❤
Bearman’s performance has gave so much more credit to the current f2 grid.
that was an extremely cool video to put together 👍
What an absolute performance, loved every second!
The kid drove a seriously impressive race! Hopefully he's earned himself a seat for the future
I love the background music.
Brilliant drive!!
Mega job Ollie👏✨
Ollie hope you do well in f2 so we can see you soon in f1. we cheer for you🎉
absolute talent
Dang, Crofty’s commentary, makes the race so much more exciting than the existing commentary. I hope Crofty and his commentary team comes back one day
Always love the Inside Story videos ❤
1:15 Finally some fresh Crofty commentary 🙏
Annoying as always
@@unthenner5519Not the best but definitely not the worst
Glad to see Crofty back on the F1 youtube channel
He'll be a ferrari driver one day, that boy
Yessir
love these inside story vids
Best Inside Story so far. I’m obsessed with these inside stories !!
I hope someday ollie bearman drive for ferrari and i hope he get a lot of opportunities!
Iloveyou ollie bearman! ❤️❤️
That was great…well summarized, more like this.
Simply a mega drive!! 😍
What an absolutely brilliant debut into Formula 1! Hope he gets a regular seat soon. A genuine asset to the team & sport.
Please do more inside stories, these are amazing.
Super consistent 🔥💯
What a incredible story, congratulations
Amazing to feel like we were there with him on the race that will change his life.
Starting from Japan, the later he gets a full-time seat...... bcs he's a living legend and not everyone can deliver these performances in such conditions
Well done Olly well done. Will be watching your career closely....future world champ in the making....
6:34 the rising pitch in music here is genius!
great debut for bearman keeping those turns smooth and steady. . Keeping cool in races is obviously crucial and i think he kept a level head throughout the entire race. Others should definitely watch out for him. he has a promising future ahead of him in his formula one journey
Jeddah is one of the toughest circuits to do well in too, lots of technical sections, narrow track, few straight lines. bearman got thrown into the deep end.
If I had to debut in Jeddah or Monaco I'd choose Monaco, that's how tough I feel Jeddah is.
Heartwarming to watch
I tryed to wacth the video but music killes it every time.
Lee1💙💙
Can't wait to see him in F1 with an official seat
I saw that race , the kid was unreal . Bearman has a ton of potential .
Brillante!!! Que gran corredor y piloto!!! Aplausos aaahh me emocioné jajajjaj
His driving was beyond expectations. What a joy to watch.
18 YEARS OLD and P7 already. Impressive work!
What a drive from Ollie 🥳🥳🥳
incredible debut!
hope to see this kid stick around in F1 soon
Mature Driving. Professionally delivered.
NEW INSIDE STORY AND I'M HERE FOR IT!
very nice story for bearmen I hope we see in ferrari one day
This proves to me that Riccy is just the GOAT
Great job Bearman ❤️ many times you missed the track line , but i know what is team pressure , i mean team indication is best for you , anyway Great job mate in Saudi Arabia ❤️
What a drive.. and f1 , we need one on Australia's smooth operator(if you know you know)
Sei stato bravissimo Oliver con la Ferrari, hai fatto una corsa meravigliosa. Hai molto talento vedrai che in futuro farai molta strada in formula 1. Un domani diventerai un grande campione, in quello che fai ci devi sempre credere. Ciao
He's very lucky to have got the opportunity to drive a quick car this season ...
Well done Oliver Bearman !
Did you guys get the Netflix editors for this one?
haas has to sign him for 2025 (if he finishes top 5 in F2)
I wish we could get more of these “inside story” videos
Yes game on😊
5:32 What a move!
But did he do better than other rookie debuts ...not quite. Thinking of a recent rookie in an unflattering car and did amazing
Frankly I think Lawson's and Bearman's performances are about equal. Lawson does get the edge because he was able to be pretty consistent over multiple races and Bearman got just the one race. But Bearman delivered in the clutch in a way that Lawson never had to
Frankly I would love to see the two on a team together. They both deserve F1 seats.
This kid quick. I hope he gets red seat again soon.
I'm surprised Yuki managed to hold him up for so long😂
Very pleased to see his performance. Unbelievably lucky to have driven a race winning Ferrari in his debut. A ridiculously difficult and dangerous track he did a superb job. I find it hard to believe he didn’t maximize the potential he was given. Super cool to see. The results of the race seemed unimportant watching bearman was all I cared about since he got into the car.
Literally finished right around guys who were probably heroes of his only a few years ago -- right behind George Russell and ahead of Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton. Lot of Union Jack in the bottom of the top 10 at Jeddah and Bearman right at home among them!
Brilliant Bearman
he drove a ferrari. he did well but its nothing nonordinairy special.
its like george russel nearly winning the bahrain GP in hamiltons place before mercedes decided to put a stop to it.
anyone remembers Nyck de Vries' epic debut?
How is p9 an “epic” debut
@@MalcolmTann0Do you remember the Williams he was driving?...
Everyone banging on about how he deserves a seat, and they'll be the same people saying someone else needs that seat after a few races.
Nothing was epic with his debut he drove the easiest track on the calander in car with a lot of staright line speed on track that is bascially only straigt lines he didn't do a single overtake on track and he also just followed a DRS train and he was 28 years old with years of F1 testing experience before. He also did 2/3 FP sessions that weekend so he was well preperd also.
Debuted in F1 at the age of 27 with 10 years of single seater racing experience🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Well put together and interesting single driver perspective race review.
Would certainly like to watch a few of these after each wkend, each following a different driver that had an interesting race - could be lower top 10 or midfield, who were overlooked by live coverage but had overtaking and strategy playing out
mejor hacer un buen debut aqui en esta pistam que en monza, grande el hombre oso.
Absolutely no fear
Can’t wait to see him at Hass
I heard crofty say "Ollie Pearman" at around lap 20-21
Of justice he should join into f1
Very talented and so very handsome!
P. Acosta in moto Gp and O. Bearman in F1 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It was a fine debut, make no mistake. I just don’t see how it is “historic” in any way. The car is one of the quicker in the field, as well, so it isn’t exactly shocking he made some points.
Don’t get the hype either , 7th place with the second best car . Maybe cause he British?
Idk man, seems to be he is literally called with 2 no fp1 and 2, and just winging it on Sat and sunday
Not just about the points. Bearman definitely showed his inexperience out there but he also showed an excellent ability to be patient, cool, and execute against veteran opponents.
We've all seen debuts go worse than that so don't pretend that it wasn't impressive to come down with points on debut just because he had Sainz' car. that helped, but if Bearman hadn't been up for the challenge it wouldn't have been enough.
He will be a race winner one day.
insane
Wow 👌🏾
Hope to see him in Ferrari again❤
where's liam's appreciation video
Wow 🎉
He has talent no doubt about it , but he has a lot a lot to go ill give him till 2026 he will be a top 5 driver
welldone Bearman
"hold the brakes", not "pull the brakes". I frequently see FOM mistranscribe team radio messages in the on screen graphics, there really should be a couple of people cross checking them as it changes the meaning.
The stuff of dreams
enginner : last lap i will leave u alone no more radio
literaly 2 corner after : russell 4 sec in front
Crofty and Alex Jaques Commentating together
He did okay, I guess.
🎉🎉❤❤crazy😮
