- The entry point for getting into PC gaming is becoming much cheaper which I'm so happy to see. For anyone that has priced out a custom PC you know it can be very expensive. The past couple years we have seen that price come down. This monitor from @KTC1995 offers great performance at a price point that wont break the bank. Now this does have it's limitations but if you're okay with some of those then this offers a ton for those looking to get into PC gaming. Thank you for actually owning and reviewing the monitor, and not being some AI chatbot reading off the spec sheet from amazon
You are right, it's definitely not great for reading, but sometimes you just have to.
The best setting for reading I find is Gamma to 1.8, warm color, low blue light 25, and a very low brightness (mine's at 15). It won't be the most "correct" color but it will put a lot less strain on your eyes.
Nice. Sound like a great performance budget display for aspiring competitive FPS player, or souls like games where performance counts.
Always a good thing when PC gaming becomes ever more accessible for the masses.

I have this exact model and everything is fine but when change the refresh rate to 165 it cycles through many colors and 60hz seems to be working properly

You need to check your cable and make sure it’s all the way in. If that doesn’t help try a new cable and then try to change the input to the hdmi cable in the panel menu.
Should i buy this one or the asus tuf gaming vg249q1a? I play on ps5 and those two monitors apparently have the lowest input lag possible for the cheap price

I bought this monitor but I can't get the audio to play, do I have to use headphones connected to the monitor
It doesn’t have built in speakers so using the headphone jack is one option

Someone already did it ktc is slightly better and it costs 20$ less then koorui

I got 165hz with box ports but hdmi was limited with hdr to 144hz if I remember correctly

It’ll be fine for that but can’t compare to digital creator monitors with higher color gamuts and space

How do you get the PS5 to bump up to 120hz? I’ve tried the out of box hdmi and another brand hdmi but neither are letting me go up to 120?
I’m having the same issue. I just have a monitor connect to my ps5 via hdmi. Did you by chance figure it out?
Without being there in person it’s hard to say. Check the input status at the top of the screen tab and see what it says.

Depends on if HDR is one or off or limitations of it being in a picture preset

The nvidia control panel allows you to set it to any refresh rate you want. If it wasn’t there you could create a custom resolution and response time or you set the fps cap in the game you’re playing
