Just found your channel and so glad I did! I like the clear seals. My favorite is the one with the colored paper behind the glue and the gold texture on top. It really gives it a 3D look. I also like the seal with the paper on top. I was thinking of using paper behind and glitter on the top. I think it would produce a really pretty seal. Thanks for all your info!!
I always use sticker paper with self-adhesive backing, the ones people use in a Cricut. I print the sheet with my printer and you can cut the papers out with a cutter or with the Cricut if you have one. The big advantage is, that you have an adhesive sticker when you peel the backing off the paper. The sheets are readily available at most Dollar Stores, even beautiful pre-printed ones at VERY low cost.
@@themellieway The holographic ones are beautiful, Amazon and others sell them also but you have to buy 20 sheets or more, many times the same. I live in Canada and the Dollar Tree sells paper 12" x 48" for only CAD$1.25 The best part is that they have soo many choices, so for CAD$ 6.00 you get the 4 of your choice. And I can tell you, 48" goes a LOOOOONG way! You can also use the stickers as self adhesive sticker under the normal colored seal. You incorporate the sticker that way and no need to attach a sticker later. It is cheaper than buying stickers and in this way you get rid of the sticker paper that you don't want to use any more.
IThis looks so cool! I finally found the transparent wax crayons from the video, at the Nex&Co store on Amazon. I picked some flowers and made transparent stamps to put on the gift. They're so clear and pretty!
I hadn’t tried making seals using glue sticks because the glue sticks I have are those that yellow overtime, so I didn’t want to 😂 but if you’re able to get glue sticks that don’t turn yellow once aged, they’re quite similar!
I actually like the paper under the clear textured seal and detailed with the gold, I find it very pretty. Does that gold dry and not come off onto your fingers?

I typically purchase from a Chinese platform but they only ship within Asia. My local store (the one in the description link) sells a variety of supplies too but they only ship locally at the moment. I believe the gold cream is more widely available, potentially internationally! It’s called Bortoletti 😊
Also, I just saw another RUclipsr show to keep your stamp heads sitting on a gel ice pack before putting on glue and then let them cool in the glue and they release easily. Thought I’d share. I did hear you mention the ice pack, but I meant for those that didn’t get how. 😊

I bought it from a Chinese website so I’m not sure what it’s called, it’s also sold by a store in Singapore but they only ship locally at the moment. Alcohol works just as well though! The pad I use contains alcohol as well 😊
@themellieway Thank you for replying. I have been using AD Tech glue stick, but it is not as clear as yours. I thought your hot pad had something to do with it.
@christellaofchelshire aah, I see! I do notice that glue sticks tend to not be as clear and/or they yellow over time… The rods I used in this video are very similar to glue sticks but for some reason, they don’t! I’m not sure where they can be purchased in other parts of the world though
Hi! I’m not sure about the brand because I bought it on a local site and it doesn’t state the brand, but it seems to be a regular glue stick, just super clear :)
I have a tiny spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol. I just spritz the stamp before stamping and it works like a charm! NEVER sticks.

It is!! I was sceptical at first when I found these, definitely was expecting them to turn opaque/cloudy after setting 😂
