Loved how they mentioned Dave Ramsey. We worked his program all the way and are truly living free. No debt whatsoever. Home paid off, 3 kids college fully funded (no student loans for them), 2 year living expenses saved and still building wealth. Hubby retires next year at 55 and I will retire in 4 1/2 when our last child graduates high school (I’ll be 54 then). We are not worrying about all this mess that’s going on in the world and relying on God and having a peace of mind is the best thing. It was not easy (getting out of debt) but all the hard work was truly worth it. It’s nice to see young couples learn early to work together. Beautiful couple too.

@@MsLkane The Total Money Makeover. One of the best books I’ve ever read too. We both worked during that time and I started a side hustle (I’m a great baker, cookies, cakes, pies, different breads and soul food). My side hustle has turned into a part time job now and I work less hours at my main job. This is what I’ll be doing when I retire- working for myself. Stay blessed and best of luck in the new year

It was easier for me to stop drinking then to stop using my credit card. Worst addiction. Its just a swipe here and there and before you know it you're in a mount of debt. Thank God he opened my eyes. I'm now only using cash and boy does it hurt, but it's a growing process.

I love this couple. They're such a unit and are a prime example of how both partners are equals in a relationship and that, at the end of the day, compassion with each other and one's self really help with getting debt-free. I definitely beat myself up a lot after I really went over my debts, but I'm trying to practice both compassion while staying disciplined on my journey. I'm new to this channel but this was a GREAT episode.

Wow - the section around 13:00 minutes when she said that she knew he was doing his absolute best as a man - even if he didn't do everything 'the right' way - that hit home! Nothing like having a powerful and supportive spouse by your side.

I remember when they first came on the scene from Black Love. I followed their journey because I thought their love story was unconventional. The next time I watched a video about them was about their first time becoming debt fee. Tony is an honorable man to own his role in the debt accumulation. Brittany always seemed like she had a good head on her shoulders and is an example of allowing God to be the Lord of the HOH. When God is in it, you can accomplish any goal. It’s great to see their financial journey and them making wise decisions. I’m inspired and excited to see what’s next for them. Yass to black wealth 🎉

This was a great one. I cleaned up my credit and bought a home in 2020. I have fallen backwards a bit and I’m back in debt. I took quite a few gems from this. I do have one question though. I am a single woman, so there is only one income for me to provide for myself and family. What are some suggestions you can share to help me speed up the process of paying down my debt? If you have another video on your channel that I can watch, please direct me to that one. Thanks for all you & your guests shared on this video!
