I do have a question what if they had refrained from investing in real estate and put all their money into paying off the debt I wonder if they would’ve been able to pay it down faster because it sounds like they invested in two properties during that time frame?

I feel ya, I don’t make that kind of income. Becoming debt free is not such a struggle when you already have so much money at your fingertips.
