Great video. I just bought the medium Nikki and I know on the retail market it’s cheaper but there’s something about a new bag that makes me enjoy it more. However, with this one I might reconsider. My color choice is about $1000 less on Fashionphile for Very Good condition- I’m a collector and don’t sale my bags but if I ever had too this one I’d take a significant loss … I don’t think the Nikki, at this time, is worth the investment and it does not hold its value.
You really have to choose the right bag which prices increased. I got Kate medium 6 years ago 20% off from a 3rd party website but bc the price didn't increase at all 4 years later, I sold it less than half of what I paid 😂 I did use it a lot tho. The price stayed stagnant for the last 6 years.
Just came across your review, it is excellent, i am interested to buy ysl mini lou same colour as yours. Can you advice if there is any colour transfer you had or hard to Clean this bag? Thanks
This brand sucks for retaining value. After I found that out the hard way I said never again. It’s not worth putting your money into ysl. You’re better off putting that money into better brands.
Is this true tho because ysl have stopped sales stopped discounts right in front of my eyes I was sleeping on sunset …. It went from 1.7 to 1.9!!! Now if I buy it and keep it for a good time ….In good condition … the price may go to 5k who knows
I have. Brand New YSL small loulou in the off white - requested a quote from fashionphile and they only offered me 60% of what I paid! I did buy it before the last price increase - I find Fashionphile is charging more for their bags but also offering less on their quotes.
Yes! So many people are getting low-ball offers from them this summer. I think if anyone wants to sell to them, it may be better to wait later in the year and check to see how much inventory they have of the bag you want to sell them. If they have a lot of the same bag and it’s being discounted, then probably best to wait or to sell yourself.
@@LauraPosse Yes they did refuse 2 of my previous bags because they had too many of the same bag. However before I submitted my quote for the loulou bag I checked and they had no smalls of the loulou in new or excellent condition and absolutely no small loulou in the off white but still gave a low quote.

I sold a Chanel mini bag and got more than I paid for it. Sold it in Sept. 2022, bought it in 2019 and it was in excellent condition.
So interesting to see the increases in price over the years!

Yes - it’s definitely bag dependent. I haven’t seen as much of the Kate around as much as I used to.

I did get red color transfer on it once, but I was able to get it all out with leather conditioner. It was easy to clean

Be careful wearing your bag out in public. I feel safe wearing mine on a cruise ship.
