Notice KG is my favorite player for 10 years, i saw many many of his games. I know him by heart, his strong points but also his weak points. But one thing is sure. He's just UNIQUE. A 7 footer who can defend all the court against anybody excepted Shaq, 7 seasons at 20 ; 10 ; 5 +, an insane versatility and intelligence in the game. Despite his thiness, he's just tough and strong against his opponents. Dirk, Amare, Chris Bosh, Chris Webber and others, you can hide ! Here comes KG !
Damn, could KG move back then. And he just killed the Lakers in this series - just killed them. Hard to believe they couldn't take down the Lakers with Madsen playing so much for them...
I am a fan of Dirk but during that 2000s era Garnett to me was the best PF. Duncan, Webber,Rasheed, and Jermaine Oneal are all on the same spot after Him.
This is why I dont place Kobe in my top 10 players all time. Here you have KG putting up monster numbers yet his team still loses. He had noone to carry the load like Kobe had in a Shaq.Kobe is a product of having dominant big men..Notice as soon as KG played with players who could carry the laod a bit he won a title.
I know I'm 7 years too late, but this is an utterly ridiculous statement. I can guarantee you that everyone in that top 10 had some sort of overwhelming help. It's why they're champions. At the end of the day it's a team game, and Kobe always knew that regardless of the numbers he put up.
@bartime100 Yes I agree with you. I just wish that KG could be healthy and stellar for the playoffs. That's all. I believe we all miss what KG put up during his prime time. He was a BEAST in 2002/03-03/04.
I remember watching this game, rooting for KG and the twolves, awesome game! But I remember the refs tried to give the game to the lakers, didn't matter, twolves came through with the win!
@anniexingyan Yes indeed he was absolutely impressive. But i think he 's more close to a scottie pippen's style than michael jordan's one. Because he s not the kind of player to take 25 shots/games and he has not the killer instinct in the fourth quarter. I think that he's at his best place as an offensive lieutenant ( but still one of the leaders of the team or simply THE team's leader). His role in the C's team is a perfect example and we see the results.
@anniexingyan Yeah but when it was the case he would never get the idea to go anywhere else : He s not like Lebron. He went to Boston because he was getting some age but if you are young you prefer to stay on your team and try to improve.
Nice highlights but disliked because it didn't even show how the game went into OT or how the game ended. It shows Minnesota up by 5 with 33 seconds to go and that's it.
@@2H2521 Nobody but probably delusional Kings fans. Btw, as a Lakers fan if u switch Chris Webber with Kevin Garnett on that 2002 Sacramento Kings team, they would easily win at least 67 games and In certain they beat the Lakers in 5 minimum or 6 max.
lmaoo no way, Cassel could ball & was actually solid. I would say Odom instead cause DFish sucks. Dude never even avg 5 assists but I'd let him shoot the last shot though lol
KG just did it all man, my 2nd fav player of all time..had no weaknesses
Miss KG back in 2003 a lot. If we have KG half as healthy and explosive as what he was in 2003, the Cs will get another championship.
I find it so kind boggling the lakers did not double Garnett. He was torching their defender.
Anthony Lee they didn't need to, the refs had the lakers back...in every series
3:25 Phil Jackson: "damn"

Sheesh this is an old comment. Totally agree with you bro. Hope life is treating you well!
KG right now is the best Center that has been playing in the 2012 playoffs.
KG is going straight into the hall of fame when he retires. he is my fav player and i think best power forward of all time
KG the legend
One lousy ring and not even with his beloved Wolves. Ring chaser.
Duncan is better.
@@antitheft2472 KG better than Duncan

don't forget sczerbiak foul when he didn't touch Pargo at all
The best power forward ever
As he dominates..... Robert Horry? GTFOH.
@@dirkdar1Like Duncan didn’t get guarded by Robert Horry also, LMAO. 😂🤣
KG with Kevin Harlan commentating was golden

post move into fade-away starting at 2.13 reminds me of MJ's own. Resemblance is uncanny!
Good catch!

@anniexingyan if the bulls have MJ as healthy and explosive as he was back in 1993, they would win another championship
robert horry has got to be one of the worst defenders EVER
Probably due to getting older. Horry was actually a solid defender during the 1994 and 1995 Rockets championship runs.
@gevz2kx Phil : Why can't Pau be like this nigga?

..this video is about KG vs LA. Nowhere does it say Minnesota vs Lakers.
