Every time I tell someone with straight hair that I wash my curly hair once a week their first reaction is EWWWW. 😂

Sameee lmao! What I do is wrap a satin pillowcase under the my bonnet and then secure it on my head with a tied silk scarf and pray it doesn’t fall off
I’ve actually been trying to figure out how to refresh my curls so this was super helpful!!
The only time I make it to day 6 is when I'm too lazy to wash my hair and put it in a bun for 3 or 4 days 😂
I promise I could do all these things my curls would still be frizzy

I was struggling to get past days 3-4 with my waves. Then I started wrapping my hair in a satin scarf and sleeping on a silk pillowcase. Day 5-6 waves on point now.

I have wavy hair that used to be really frizzy but now I can wash it a week apart with less problems with frizz (it’s inevitable to have some but it’s greatly reduced) this is what helped me i put leave in conditioner in my hair before I go to sleep and I wake up with less dry and brittle hair that also looks less frizzy and more defined. I have no idea why it works but if I just leave the leave in conditioner till the morning alone when refreshing I find it isn’t enough, so I do it morning and night. This is just what works for me because I have very dry hair so it might not work for you but I was trying to help it took me a lot of trial abs error. Hope this helps!!
I cry in grease...my scalp and hair will be soooo greasy by day 6!
I get 5-6 good days out of my waves - the right conditioners and stylers (for me), good overnight protection, and time! Also, I NEVER refresh...that’s my secret. It can happen! Hang in there! ❤️

I actually do not have issue with my hair lasting that long. The long my hair stay the better it looks. My day 1 and 2 hair can't compete with my day 3-7 hair.

Ohhh I learned a couple new things on this one. I don’t refresh as much as I probably should but this was extremely helpful for the days when I need to refresh. My only issue that I have had is keeping my silk bonnet on at night. It usually skips off by the morning which drives me nuts.
