This game is actually very realistic because the multiplayer servers are from 1944
top fucking kek
TrainedHostageKiller How is that realistic there was no internet then
fucking hell......LOL
You must have terrible fucking internet, so far this is the only cod I've played that didn't have a broken server during its first few weeks. (Not including previous generations of cod)
Lmaooooo
My great grandpappy got shot on DDay, but before the Nazis could kill him, A supply drop crashed in front of him. He opened it up to find a few pistol grips. The nazis and his brothers in arms alike droped their guns and politely clapped together. They then exchanged supply drops and ended the war peacefully
Got me dying here.
and thats how we won the war... true story
But u just said he got shot

@Mike Harper zombies need a campaign
This is very historically accurate, my grandpa ran around quick scoping the Nazis with the gun he got in his loot box.
Anonymous this is actually an amazing comment! Thanks for the laugh

lmao this made me laugh xD
Anonymous yeah and the women who obviously fought in ww2
Anonymous this made my day
The intro was very accurate; Gold, Sword, Juno, Utah, and, Omaha beaches couldn't have been taken without the loot-boxes, it true, I saw it in a documentary.
I heard the Department of the Army spent A LOT of money on securing rare items and ensuring the Nazis couldn't get those pistol grips and such, smart move I say.
LMFAOOO!!!

The never ending train wreck had me laughing. Its also ironic in many ways.

I think the little montage with Kevin Spacey was funny now that we know he literally has four deaths associated with him. He wasn't acting, he actually is a monster! =D
Boots on the ground.
Boxes from the sky.
ARX78 microtransactions in the ocean
ARX78 thats funny
"People are still going too buy it" the problem with the game industry in one sentence.
Chad6o Yep, reminds me of the iPhone X actually, I think next year Activision should jack up the price even more and they'd probably get away with it just like Apple. People will buy it regardless
Doesn't matter how lazy these games are every year, people still buy them year because they have no artistic integrity and just want to kill time. Shame, since I was actually looking foward this one, but, I'll have to pass on this one as well. It's funny that the last Call Of Duty game with true innovation for the franchise was Black Ops 2, which is a five year old game from the seventh generation. Maybe Treyarch can somehow save it for me(probably not), and somehow innovate(probably not).
Chad6o Illiteracy?

Couldnt be farther than the truth
26:13 “so I had to play with myself” I know the feeling homie...
that train crash was one minute
ONE FULL MINUTE
The Kevin Spacey part was pure gold. I would never see those scene the same ever again.
Blue Chief Awesome too bad it was pretty good voice acting
It definitely gave me the wrong kind of chills, lol
the man with the green cortina I did liked Advanced Warfare though. It was my first COD after long break.
What's the song?
the man with the green cortina Yeah, I member!!
It actually really bothers me when FPS don't have legs under the camera. Halo was always good for this reason.
NET Alliance - Star Wars Fun bo3 had it
Conslappy it did?
Now explain why having legs below you makes a game good.
Lewko FTW They help with immersion, but they dont make or break a game.
its only a little thing but it ads immersion i feel because you are an actual body not a floating camera with a gun.
The train scene is ridiculous. Here is why, from a train buff.
1) the train doesnt even slow down after derailing, let alone stop
2) freight cars are flying
3) strongest plot armor ever
As one familiar with trains, I will now explain points 1 and 2 (3 doesnt need to be explained).
For the sake of comparison, I estimate the ingame train speed is about 50mph (80 km/h) at best.
The closest match I can remember to what we see ingame is the Saint-Michel-De-Maurienne disaster, where a series of bad decisions led to a derailment at 60mph (100 km/h), where 18 of 19 coaches either telescoped into one another and/or caught fire. Note that the locomotive was decoupled from the train my the derailment and stayed on the tracks, although im unsure if it deraining would have increased or decreased the damage.
Also note - no flying wagons. Although its not unheard of this to occur, the forces needed to produce such an outcome are far gratear, like for example in the Hinton train collision, where a head-on crash of a passenger and freight train at a combined speed of about 100 mph (160km/h) sent one of the freight cars flying directly onto a loaded passenger car, crushing it. That freight car in question was also of sturdy full metal contruction whilst the European stock seen ingame are much more lightly built and make extensive use of wood. Such a wreck would not send them flying but would rather cause them to telescope, i.e. disintegrate into one another.
A crash at this speed would have lasted only seconds before coming to a full stop, maybe 20 seconds at most for a full stop, but nowhere near the time it took ingame. The ammount of wagons derailed would be perhaps 10-15, maximum 20, and nowhere near the mass seen here.
Thanks for taking the time to write this comment
@@jackt7331 no probelm, my pleasurr
The train obeys Michael Bay's laws of physics, not Newton's
Saint murienne (exscuse the spelling) was a runaway due to a overloaded locomotive. It originally had two locomotives but they rostered one off to a different train. Also they added more cars and most didnt have air brakes just manual brakes that had to be applied. It should be noted that the engineer initially refused to carry such an overloaded train but was threatened at gun point. The post crash fire was due to gas heating and also munitions the soldiers brought on board even though they werent supposed to.

mini banana same as angry Joe, I'm surprised this video popped up in my feed.
That train scene is giving me mad flashbacks to Super 8, a film I never bothered watching because I just couldn't take it seriously after the sheer ridiculous hilarity of the train crash. I'm dieing of laughter right now! XD
Oh yeah, I totally remember loot boxes in World War 2, learned that shit in history class. My favorite was when Winston Churchill said "we shall fight on the beaches and also buy our loot boxes because we want more money."
- There's a starman waiting in the sky
Luxra you cant buy the supply drops yet. You have to earn them
Luxra that moment where stalin fucked the germans because they paid to get better weapons from dlc
While that's indeed true, it'd be foolish to assume that this will stick.
It's all but confirmed that they'll end up monetising them.

loot boxes are in every multiplayer game now get used to it scrub
The D-Day mission was phenomenal it feels like their entire budget went into that

Thanks Joe , haven't laughed like that for a long time.
You looked so bored during the train scene it fucking killed me lol
Yeah lol. But honestly there's so much of the same we can tolerate. Kinda like the bay's transformer movies. These set action pieces wear out their welcome
Yup, COD in general has worn out it's welcome
Yap...that's probably why it got 500 millions on the opening week....soo worn out.
Duro, it earned that much cuz: most of Cods main audience are ignorant kids, people hoping it would actually be good and those with nothing else to play since the industry is mostly a dud. This campaign is nothing compared to WaW
Congress, the Retirement Home for the Useless Say what you will but this CoD actually is good compared to what we have had for CoD the past 4 years. Most people usually hate on this game's multiplayer because of the campers or they are just complete trash. Campaign is decent and tbh zombies is better than bo3 zombies.
That train crash was funny as hell
Hey, have a little respect. Activision paid Michael Bay good cocaine to storyboard that scene for them.

I believe it
No, that was a direct ripoff from Super 8. Spielberg!!
I was waiting for it to end. I kept thinking, "How long is this train?"
Didn't know the Nazis had anti-gravity trains
Funny that the sound effects were very muffled and lazy-sounding; no hard metallic track-screeching, and the crashes kicked up like no dirt, so overall it was pretty low-quality despite how much "destruction" it was supposed to make...
8:36 How to make the most pathetic sounding explosions and crashes ever heard in gaming. Make it sound like someone's lightly farting.
Have you seen behind the scenes for how some audio effects are made? That may be exactly what they did.
Tbh thought it sounded pretty good.
@@blueninjanoname7338
Soft farts with no bass?
@@VGamingJunkieVT Sounded pretty crisp and raw to me, a train crashing wouldn't have that much bass, bass is something audio producers amp up for dramatic effect.
@@blueninjanoname7338
Pretty sure actual explosions wouldn’t sound like a wet fart. There would be some kind of oomph behind it.

Hey Grandpa remember that time you chased after that train full of Germans and then got your jeep stuck at the front of the train but jumped out just in time before the train crashed and then tonnes of debris came flying over you but luckily none of it hit you, yeh that must have been cool.
If the campaign would be historical realistic, it would be boring
Leviathan Yeh cause ww2 was a really boring event when nothing happened. I mean are you kidding? The best parts of the game where when we did realistic events like running in between falling trees and then holding the line the battle of the bulge, or struggling across the hurtgen forest through dense woodland. Sure they can exercise some creative licensing no is saying be 100% realistic but the fact that actual historical combat tactics and gameplay is less fun than watching a scripted orgy of explosions or some stupid saviour quest that brings you out of the immersion is just plain fucking stupid.
....Billy?
Leviathan yeah nah the bloodiest war in history definitely had more action than you will every experience in your life.
Activision logic
Little known historical fact: The Allies won WW2 due to the superior quality of their dropped loot boxes
Who's here from Angry Joe's COD Vanguard video?
That train crash was embarrassing they should literally patch it
twitch7771 I don't get what's so literal about that
It helps put things in perspective if you use it as an analogy for the cod series.

Someone in Activision needs to put "Boot to Ars" as these games are getting really stale.
Funy thing is: If it was WWI it'd be Ok for the Germans to have Black Soldiers. They had a colony in what today is Cameroon and plenty of people from there served in the German Imperial Army in these special regiments called Askari.
It's okay. I'm sure they'll never release a bad WW2 game again
Laughs in vanguard
That train crash scene was beyond too much
It's like a 'Scary Movie' levels of parody of WWII shooters.
Chronic Wizdom how tf did the jeep flip a damn train??!?!
Addicted_Game well if a car hits a train and metal slips under the track rails it can slip the train off
Reminded me of the mustang that flipped the tank in Fast and Furious 6 lol
it was like family guy with peter's knee. it was ridiculous, then went to stupid, then back to ridiculous two more times.
War never changes
Call Of Duty never changes
It DOES change. The last couple of years we've gotten microtransactions that get worse every year. Next year we will probably have microtransaction based matchmaking (pay some more to play with bad players). That'll be fun AND something new that changes CoD!
it changed after black ops 1. Modern warfare 3 was the 1st entry that ruined the cod series. Its been shit ever since.
GoSpeed Gamer you want to know in my opinion camping is actually a legitimate strategy because I hate running and gunning I die every time I get my favorite sniper rifle and I find a good corner and I snipe every enemy player that's idiot enough to run past without looking in the corner that is a legitimate strategy and that's a strategy that's used an actual Warfare hold out don't run around out in the open like an idiot we lost a lot of men in the Civil War because of that running and gunning or World War II running and gunning you take cover just like a camper does. I prefer playing Call of Duty games like a strategy rather than mindlessly running around hoping and praying you don't get mowed down
Basically
the medal of honor music is uncomparable even today
6:13 HOLY SHIT THAT'S CGI?!! I THOUGHT IT WAS LIVE ACTION! And it's REAL TIME RENDERED

lol. Great comment. I never put many points into "luck" in Fallout. Man, do I feel like a fool. Luck makes you invincible!
I am invincible
lmao that train scene was fucking hilarious, if they were going for a comedy scene they fucking nailed it.
Xavier H. Wait, you mean he didn't get a scratch on him through 50 explosions over a 3 minute time period. Boy, I thought it really felt like open world gameplay where every scene wasn't scripted and Joe's character basically made no difference whether he existed or not. Ooh, wait a minute. No, I guess you were definitely right! I guess we can always hope for next year. COD feels like my MLB home team where I live - as soon as the season gets going each year we're already saying, "Well, there's always next year." What about maybe like a semi-openworld war game in which you're truly living the war as a soldier like in the movie Platoon. I'm telling ya, it's going to be awesome when they finally do something like that
More like de-railed it, but whateves.

Holy God that classic Medal of Honor music in the prologue made me so happy and so sad.
Remember when you had to earn the calling cards? Good times. RNG Loot Crates are ruining games. No sense of accomplishment anymore.
Triscuit H eh, they add a lot of lastability, so long as the game is fun. Overwatch did it right
Triscuit H
The worse part is I had a friend
and one day wile playing overwatch we were arguing about RNG boxes and he said and I quote “loot boxes are more rewarding”
I am no longer friends with him
he's turned to the dark side. You didn't.
Triscuit H I miss those days. I played Modern Warfare 2 for 4 years and there's calling cards and emblems that I still haven't come close to unlocking. RNG takes the sense of accomplishment, throws it out the window, and then replaces it with that sense of gambling addiction.
Dillon C. Absolutely. I remember having fun trying to get many of the more difficult cards, and that little bit of pride you had when you got to rock that rare card you earned. Now what? Does anyone have fond memories of unboxing a "Rare" card?
That train crash was so HILARIOUS
It reminded me of the fight scene from the movie 'They Live'. It's like, how much longer is this gonna go on? Damn Haha
Just like the car chase scenes from the blues Brothers, lol
TheBeLuvdTRex it was freaking hilarious I was laughing my ass off
It reminded me of that train crash from Super 8. Which isn't a good thing, because from what I've seen of J.J.'s work, man doesn't understand physics.
But for real, one of those kids should have died.
I really was expecting a 16t weight, a grand piano and a submarine to drop close to the player.
I feel like the train wreck is a metaphor snuck in by the developers as a self-awareness cry for help.
And now black ops 4 is basically a PUBG rip-off
such a disappointment and i cant get my money back, more bullshit

It's sad that's true but damnit they should have bought Infinite Warfare last year or this year instead. That campaign was really well done. $500 million in its first weekend? The gaming community doesn't deserve innovation. Makes me sad to be a gamer.
That didn't happen because it's such an amazing entry into the COD line up. It was because it's boots on the ground and retards were fiending for that for so long. It's actually a shitty COD game. I'll just wait to treyarch COD next year.
There's a lot of 12 year olds with their parents money to spend. AAA games cater to kids and casuals now days. Gaming is dead.

I'm not MAD, I'm SAD. It is those people that are making the games industry what it is. Rather than trying to change these copy and paste games, they just keep blindly buying them. Also, I play Dungeon Keeper. There aren't any microtransactions in it. It's just an innovative game released at a time when innovation made the game industry good.
