P.S. - As this is a brand new product, there are updates/changes coming soon.
The initial setup process might be simplified by removing the need to install the config utility.
The carrier profiles will also be updated to improve compatibility with specified carriers.
Currently, Verizon users actually should use 'Generic' instead of 'Verizon' when setting this.
With the future update, for example, 'Verizon' should work fine for Verizon users.
Any firmware updates can be found using the config UI.
They've also mentioned that they might add more feature switches and a universal mounting solution to the unit itself.

How are you powering it on your ride streams? Also, do you just call up the carriers or walk into the store to get these sim and data plan? I noticed Amazon has prepaid sims too. TIA
I use a USB-C PD cable and a 100W blade battery.
For the SIM, it might depend on the carrier. I use Verizon, so I just walked in to add the service and they provisioned a SIM for me. I haven't tried SIMs from Amazon myself, but you'll want to ensure that the SIM is 5G-capable and compatible with modem use.
@@AgentTekk thank you for the fast response brother! I’ve been researching these devices for a food truck that I’m going to launch pretty soon. The food yard I will be primarily located is in a semi-rural area in the Dallas Area. I have an AT&T phone and can get good speeds from the main road about a block south of the yard, but the yard itself seems like it’s in an elevation pocket as far as the reception from my phone. I’m thinking T-mobile might be my best bet.
@@JETfreyOne I try to respond quickly to not forget :) You could definitely use this in a food truck. As for carrier, you can always check community-driven cell-mapping tools to get a better idea of service, but it'll depend on specifically where the yard is. You might want to ask around to see what carriers others there use. Haven actually sell a BUNCH of related accessories that could improve your connection in that truck. I've got a link in the description if you want to check those out.

Hello. I believe they do intend to ship outside of the US as well. Also, it works with many providers. I use mine with Verizon, for example.
where do you get the APN info?
Every carrier has their own set of APNs they use for various services. You can look up the APN for your carrier on Google. Search "APN for [insert carrier]". For example, Verizon uses 'vzwinternet'.
Would be sick if it was ACTUALLY the "newest technology". It's only an x62 Snapdragon modem. We already have x65 and x70 modems out now.
Which router currently use x70 modem?
I'm saying we have devices that use them already. Mainly phones rn.

That is included in the Quickstart Guide. The one I have states the default is 'ChangeME2$'.

Hey! Keep in mind that this is their latest development that packs a lot of power in a fairly small package.
They have lots of other products at different price ranges that fit into almost any budget. Also, they have a lot of accessories and smaller pieces that are hard to get otherwise.
