  • This is my favorite way to search for the best 5G carrier signal and which bands and towers I get at my house. Do you want to get the BEST cellular signal, speed and ping but don't want another router, NAT or wifi source? Here's the Invisagig 5G Cellular Modem with the Snapdragon X62. Get tons of extra features like 5G SA, band locking, tower locking, custom APN and DNS, VPN, WAN failover, IMEI, TTL and more. It has a 2.5G Ethernet port for single device connection or hook it to the WAN port of your own router to connect many devices. This works with all major US Carriers, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and SIM that use those networks. Firmware change log: invisagig.com/invisagig-chang... • @NaterTater

      The Invisagig does not come with a SIM, you'll have to provide one and will have to do some settings adjustments depending on what type of SIM you use.

    Hi Nate. Will the Invisagig with the paddle antennas give better connectivity than using a Sagencom gateway? Thanks!!

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  4 месяца назад

      it might get slightly better signal with the paddles and one of the big differences is the ability to selected your best bands, 5G SA mode and very low overhead (lag, bufferbloat, etc) vs the stock gateways. notes this effectively requires your own wifi router unless you plan on just a single ethernet device.

    How do think this compares with something like the Yeacomm 5G outdoor router which can be powered by POE?

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  4 месяца назад

      Depends on the modem in the yeacomm but in general outdoors is better for reception and so long as it can withstand the elements its best to have the unit or antenna outdoors.

    I would just like your opinion on something. I wanted to buy a used trashcan and return mine to the way it was and save to send back to Tmobile. Do you know if there is a problem using one exactly like mine that I buy and do you know if it will work if I just install my tmobile card in it, pleas if you know something let me know.

      I guess I need to explain, I added outdoor antenna ports to mine from tmobile.

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  2 месяца назад

      it most likely will so long as the one you purchase isn't blacklisted. Ie if its reported stolen then t-mobile will block that gateway's IMEI from their network.

    Can you hook the device up through your T-Mobile Gateway or does it just use the Sim card that comes with the Tmobile Gateway. Last question how would I use this device with my Playstation 5

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  3 месяца назад +1

      It's designed to take the SIM card. A PS5 could plug in via ethernet. Or add your own wifi router to thr Invisagig.

      @NaterTater I promise my last question. Once you set the settings on the device through your computer ,do you have to leave ,the CPU hooked up to the invisigig? Or can you unhook afterward?

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  3 месяца назад +2

      @grant870898 you broke your promise! The TMHI gateways cant act as a passthrough client since they have no WAN port. You'd need to use your Asus.

    If you know, are cellular internet connections as secure as wired internet options, like cable or DSL?

    • @NaterTater

      Yes, I would say similar security based on those technologies. Probably more important to see the ISP's track record.

      Do you know why T-Mobile and Verizon Home internet both report that it's not available for my location?

    • @NaterTater

    Does the Invisagig support bonding 5G + LTE like the Cheetah.

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, the modem is what can do that and both have the SDX62 modem. The Chester devices also offer the newer SDX65 as an option and that can combine/aggregate even more than the X62 can.

    I just got tmobile home 5g internet. Just came available for unlimited for me. I got the kvd21 I believe is what it's called. My son says the ping is worse than the delta broadband we have which we get off same tower. He plays video games on his computer so ping is what he's worried about for lag. My delta only get 12-18 download and 5-6 upload and it cost $99. So far my tmobile is anywhere from 70-120 download and 3-5 upload cost $55. Is there anything that will bring ping up for tmobile? Don't think it has external antenna for it or would that help anyway. Any info would help, I figured having that much better download would mean better ping

    • @NaterTater
      @NaterTater  3 месяца назад

      ping is separate from download/ upload speed. cellular typically is not the best for ping. some ways to try to improve it is a better cellular signal. try moving the gateway to different spots in the house. an external antenna can help speed and ping, see my channel for videos.
