I should get mine next week will be use with Verizon 5G home internet. My question do I need to be directly connected with computer to InvisaGig to make changes or could I connect thru my Wifi router ? THX
While I don’t have ATT air service available in my area to test it the invisagig itself supports all of ATTs bands. In theory it should work fine after switching over the IMEI from your supplied gateway to the invisagig and making sure your APN is correct. The invisagig itself was designed to work with any 4G LTE and 5G carrier. As long as you have a SIM card you should be good to go.
Well I think it’s all perspective. If you want a modem and a router in one then buying this obviously doesn’t make any sense. However, I’d argue that in the long run this is a better investment because you can use your own router and as that router ages and becomes obsolete you can easily upgrade into a new router that has all the features you want. Again though it’s all perspective. Before using this unit I got okay speeds on T-Mobile home internet and given that I only pay $30.00 a month for said internet I couldn’t really complain about getting 350 to 430 Mbps down on average at any given time. Now before I switched to T-Mobile home internet I had Xfinity ‘s 1.2Gbps plan and with that I saw 700 to 800 Mbps down on average. This cost me $160.00 a month. With the invisaGig modem I’m seeing this same speeds and still only paying $30.00 a month. So yes this is not a cheap piece of equipment but in the long run I’m saving money and getting better service. If it’s not for you then it’s not for you and there’s nothing wrong with that. I appreciate you watching the video.
That's actually it's main use case though. For those that have a prosumer (as opposed to a regular consumer) setup, this is exactly what they're generally looking for: something to pipe a solid and customizable 5G connection into their existing router, network, and access points. It removes an extra layer of NAT that you would otherwise have from something with a built in router. That audience doesn't want a router on the initial 5G gateway since most control the network setup, security, and design from their own router. Even better, with T-Mobile, you no longer have to worry about the super locked down router in the T-Mobile gateway. Not only can you not control what bands/tower it uses, not control any of the network security or design, bit it literally won't even let you turn off the WiFi access point built into that gateway. It's absolutely awful... And that's why this invisagig is so awesome.
The price is very daunting. T-mobile internet in my area is sparse at best. If I could be sure that this modem would double or more my speeds then it might be worth the investment. But without some kind of test window where I could return it if the improvements are not as described, then it just seems like possibly throwing money away.

Great information thanks for sharing
Appreciate your kind words. Thanks for watching.
I can understand changing the IMEI, but is is necessary to change the serial number?
Nope, personal preference. The IMEI is the only requirement to change in order to make T-Mobile Home Internet work.

You can connect to it via WiFi by going to the modems IP Address.
Does it work with AT&T internet air?

Way overpriced and doesn't even have a router built in but nice video
