Maybe there would be less need for police chases if the judicial system stopped allowing criminals to be captured and then released. Why not just hold the bad guys accountable for their actions? Make evading the police a felony with a maximum 10-15 year sentence then there would be no need to have police chases.
Evading with dangerous speed is a felony moron. Imagine thinking that criminals are gonna act right because your adding time to there free rent, courtesy of the taxpayers dollar
If you knew the truth it’s unbelievable they could help the public more but they don’t care to make a long story short the more you learn the matter you’re going to get
We need to get the criminals to adopt a credo that they will only flee when they have committed a crime that coincides with law enforcement pursuit policies. 🧐🤔
@ my comment was in a joking manner. I prefer track but if tracks keep closing due to people complaining, street racing is gonna become more of an issue than it is already lol. But i agree with you 100%.
If are running from the police because they have an expired tag.. then you got problems. The easiest way to combat pursuits is mandate a minimum sentence of 5 years...promise you there will be a lot less people running "for expired tags".
Wow awesome lead-in, making the chase the problem, not the criminal activity that instigated it. Mandatory prison time for 1st offenses, allow citizens to use deadly force when protecting person and property, publicly display ALL criminals, whether juvenile or adult. Make crime a shameful thing again.
@@thystaff742California and Illinois is a good study, same with Georgia, in California no chase laws have created more problems as the people still drive crazy and wreck later making the cops still have to come to you, only it taking for time. Georgia state patrol will chase you till the end of the Earth and heaven help you when they catch you, they pit you knock you off the roads and their isn't half the wrecks carloina claims their is.
We had a case in Illinois where a chase from a speeding ticket led to a guy who kidnapped a kid. Good thing our chief chased down that speeder....they'd never caught the kidnapper.
Bro…. Not everyone has a body in there trunk, some people can’t afford tags because the way the world is today, I haven’t registered a vehicle in 2 years, but guess what I go bust my ass everyday to make sure me and Mines straight, but yeah, let’s give them a hard 5 years for no tags
@SlickitySloth59 Nobody drives off on a traffic stop because they have expired tags. That's only a ticket in most cases. There's always something else going on. Usually, DUI or they have a warrant.

If Every State across the Country would adopt the Arkansas Highway Patrol’s PIT / TVI Policies and Training; the Fleeing & Eluding would soon come to a STOP!!
I'm sorry, but next to nobody runs for just expired tags. That is BS. I'm willing to also bet the study cited as the basis for the law also is hot garbage. But God forbid we do a study on no or limited pursuit policies and increases in property crime, DWI offenses, and even speed related fatalities and casualties. Never mind that whole disengage the pursuit thing aka tracking mode, agencies like CHP pioneered doesn't actually get people running to slow down and run less erratically. Many fatalities have been recorded after cops disengage but the moron keeps running. But not my state, not my problem, just some food for thought for people who say this is gonna be a good thing. I hope you like higher auto and home insurance rates, being without a car, and being victimized even more. Because that is what you are gonna get.

Wishes and dreams you speak of. If you only had even the slightest clue into the criminal mindset 😅
Just stop.....your making too much sense

Street racing is about to make a big comeback is SC aren’t doing pursuits anymore😂
Street racing causes eminent harm, so they'll still get chased after.

There is MORE danger with no police chases…
And your proof of this?

@ my point exactly. Sounds like you would pull over. Only the dangerous criminal would flee and elude..

Careful. Once criminals understand the limitations on law enforcement they WILL exploit it.
Nothing gonna change.. this is talk..
