Suggestion for a vid. Can you possibly do a vid of what to look for to make sure a nail salon is following safety regulations. There was a story today about a huge number if Huston nail places/artist that were heavily fined and or closed down because of violations. I think it would be helpful to know what you should looks for as far as safety and sanitary conditions.
PM Snowraven just ask your tech how they clean their metal tools and look out for used buffers and files those should be single use only
Atx Kat Single use only? Do you realize how much waste there will be a day if all the files and buffers got thrown after each client (they are not even biodegradable). Plus, all new files had to be filed down otherwise it may be too sharp for the skin. We sanitize nails before to kill the bacteria. And if people have fungus then they aren’t even allowed to do nails.
Any file that can be properly disinfected can be used more than once.

That is the problem all my students have, is filing away the fade they just made, that little bit of clear acrylic is so so important!!

Definitely wish you had classes in my area in Florida. But youtube will do! I am so inspired I went to cosmetology school I went for hair worked at a salon and was mistreated after school. I’ve been into nails the past year been working hard on my dip technique and now I’m trying to master acrylic. Your work is so clean and always beautiful. I show my friends all the time and they always ask when can I do theirs lol I’m not ready for that yet. Just received my core kit Monday and will be working hard on my pearl technique and application. You are an excellent teacher and have passion for what you do and that definitely makes a difference. Lovely nail. I wish that you had a nail already done, that was done the wrong way. Then after you did it the right way, we could see the two nails side by side to see the difference. I didn't understand some of the things you were talking about (the things you wanted to avoid) and I just wished you had something that I could see to show the difference. I hope that all made sense. It's just a suggestion for future videos 😉😁💟

Can you give a colour ombre for which clour need what... ext off white with a pink and clear what would you suggest for a red, black,green which other colour would mix well with that for the fade....
Try different colors and see how it looks.. its all about experimenting
