I can never shake Sebastian Sallow. After playing Hogwarts Legacy, I couldn't forget this character and searched for this song even on Apple. 🐍 He was so impacting.
@@angeliqueroux3017 completely understandable, though its not like teenagers are strictly don't date or fall in love until they turn 18 🙄 I mean I heard NPCs talking about crushes and such. I don't think anyone means a complete Mass Effect or DA like romance when they miss a romance option in this case.
Can't stop listening to it as an ambience music while working, they made it simple and unobtrusive, but deep enough and quite emotional in many ways. Love it
They're making HP into a TV series on MAX. I would almost like this one more, with the trans-inclusivity this game has and more. It would be a great parallel to the main series whilst staying fresh and new - it also gives MAX more room for creative expression and backstories.
The craziest shit I’ve seen is “unofficial soundtrack” for this track. So unofficial you can’t even shazam it or easily find it through google or RUclips search. So insanely disrespectful that this masterpiece is so hidden when it is probably the best, if not the best track in the game.

It’s always so sad to go back to Feldcroft and hear this. But like, it makes sense. Like, your character used to know an entire family that lived there, now one of them is dead, one of them left Feldcroft because of the death, and for Sebastian the ending varies. Also, this song is the only song that plays anywhere around Feldcroft (possibly the entire region, but I haven’t tested that much) once the Sallow family is essentially gone from Feldcroft (unless you don’t turn Sebastian in)
Whenever I walk into their house I see the letter from Anne and it makes me sad all over again. I restarted the game and I feel bad playing his quest line because I know what’s gonna happen but it is so good.
Very nice of you to put the spoilers in the comments for people who might not have finished his quest line yet! It’s definitely so heartbreaking that theres no way to stop the tragic ending to his story, although it almost seems like the devs/writers were planning on one (but maybe cut it due to time restrains, I mean they weren’t even able to fit in a personal quest line for Amit). It seemed like foreshadowing that all of Sebastian’s quests were titled “in the Shadow” and Niemh always emphasized “there cannot be light without shadow and shadow without light” (with MC being the light and Sebastian the shadow). Also odd that after “In the Shadow of the Mountain” regardless of what order you do his personal quest, Sebastian is so ecstatic that the ancient magic could possibly cure Anne and then… it just never gets mentioned again? We aren’t even given the option to ask the Keepers about it like we promised him we would. Almost like it was supposed to be that maybe MC was going to be able to cure Anne and stop Seb from going dark arts crazy, but was cut from game from time. That’s what I’m choosing to believe anyway
It reminds me a bit about the music that sounds in a particular scene in The Chronicles of Narnia (film 1). The magic moment that starts with a lit candle and there’s a woman’s voice singing a melody the night that Lucy sneaks out of her bed and returns to the wardrobe and Edmund follows her? That one
I'm finally playing this game after buying the pre-sale (long time, I know). My first playthrough was as a Slytherin and I finished it a couple days ago. I would just... automatically go to the Feldcroft floo flame so this song would trigger and I would just fly around as it would play. I purposely left so many items left to pick up so I can could spend hours around Feldcroft and the coast line.. So hauntingly beautiful. Someone (I think on Reddit) said the latter half of the game seems to be quite lonely - and I quite agree. This score is top tier.

No romance because they’re all 15. Hopefully there will be DLCs where the characters are a bit more grown up.

Good ol standing around the area and hit record when the track plays. Just make sure to turn the sounds off for everything else
