Why is this not on the officiall OST? It plays so often during gameplay + It reflects the emotions you feel during the Sebastian questline so well.
i listened through the OST for this song only, and i was so disappointed when i didnt find it on there.
Exactly, this music and the one in the night vivarium. It adds such an atmosphere. The ost is better than I fought it would be, and so is the game!
No literally I scoured the official soundtrack looking for this one track. I really unconsciously pay critical attention to background music during movies/shows/games and I had to put the controller down and record it because it was so beautiful 🥲

It should be a crime that this masterpiece of a song isn’t apart of the OST. Literally the best song in the entire game and I could never find it anywhere. So sad..both the song and the fact that it’s not in the official track for the game so thanks for uploading this.
This music is just so perfect for Feldcroft. It sounds so sad, so tragic, and pained... it's just overall such a heartbreaking piece, and it's just so absolutely perfect for the town and Sebastian's quest line.
This storyline is by far better than the main one.

There's a lot to unpack here. My MC shaped his outcome. Arguably Sebastian could not have gotten as far and as fast is he did with my MC. Like Ominis said it starts as harmless at first (what harm could learning Confringo do?) Before you know it's Crucio, Imperio, and Avada Kedavra. I may have inadvertently created a foe or something far entirely different than the barrowing man Sebastian was meant to be. But he was always broken. But as Professor Rackham once said 'it is not you pain to take.' My MC may not have exploited magic like Isidora but he might as well have. I chose not to turn him in. My MC could not bear to banish a broken brother, a friend, something secretly MORE to Azkaban. Now I'll have to live with the consequences.
Sometimes I wonder what will happen to him in the sequel. I certainly do fear he'll start something he cannot come back to, but perhaps our protagonist could wake him up, snap him out of it and see that there's a different path ahead.
Poor Sebastian, He sacrificed everything to save his sister, only to lose more.

Hot take: this theme pulls a lot of weight in making Sebastian's questline so emotional. Because all the interactions with his sister take place in Feldcroft, and when he's talking about sacrificing everything to save her, this is the music you hear. It gives that same vibe of sadly tragic yet desperately hopeful as the Resurrection Stone scene in the movies.

At first, when I listened to this, it caught my attention by reminding me of the Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack. And afterward, when I've listened to this while I study, it's grown to be extremely comforting but dismal. Like a peaceful despair.

Poor Sebastian! You know what else is missing from the official soundtrack? The music where you journey to Hogsmeade with Sebby for the first time! Can you put this up pleeeease? I love that whole sequence because it’s so magical - the lakes, the waterfalls, the little bridges. And Sebby is happy!

When i visited Feldcroft before visiting Sebastian's sister this music wasn't playing, this melody started when Sebastian and Solomon are arguing. From then on the melody plays everytime I'm in Feldcroft...everyone in the game seems to focus on Anne's pain but don't even see how much Sebastian is suffering.
This song struck me so strongly when I was playing the game, its energy is unmatched.

I think Sebastian's story is one of the most depressing in the Wizarding World franchise. From what I could tell from his interactions and occasional trust issues with the MC, it seems Sebastian is suffering from a lot of emotional damage, and I don't just think it's because his sister Anne is dying.
It's rather heavily implied that his uncle Solomon is psychologically and possibly even physically abusive towards Sebastian. Not once does he ever try to speak to Sebastian like he is a human being, he just lashes out at him. Not to mention the fact that you can find where Sebastian sleeps in Feldcroft, and it is not on a bed.
I think Sebastian using the Killing Curse on his uncle wasn't just a heat of the moment thing, it was potentially due to him lashing out after years of torment at the hands of Solomon.

This theme breaks my heart. I turned Sebastian in out of anger but stupid muggle me figured they wouldn't send a 15 year old to Azkaban. I thought he would be given a chance. Turns out I was wrong. Now I just linger in Feldcroft wondering what could have been. Trying to write a fanfic where I rescue him somehow. Would love ideas on how to do this.

If this song could tell a story, it would be what I'd call "The Tragedy of the Sallow Twins". Sebastians desperation and the great lengths he's willing to go to try and save his dear sister Anne from the curse that's hurting her; only for him to ultimately lose the twin he clearly loved so much in the end.

Am i the only one who doesnt like this piece ? I find it boring more than sad, every time it is played in the game i just feel really bored, also i couldnt connect emotionally with sebastian's story, maybe is that, i love all the other songs in this game though, specially grassland vivarium
