I built my Valdore a few days ago, and so far I am liking it for hostile interceptor grinding. Best part, I got all the BPs for it from capital trader grinding in Romulus.

I built the Valdore at level 42 and took it to T6. I've since built the Pilum in March and it's replaced the Valdore for me. Stuff is expensive!
Skipping G4 commons getting G4 rares, agree on officers, big focus on maxing Marcus Kang Char, they become hugely important
I agree with you on Nemesis. The only thing I liked about the movie was I got to see it with the actors, and got to meet some of them.
I will probable getting the Valdore when I get to ops42. Time to start saving.
I have my Valdore t5. But it mostly just collects dust. My t8 Jellyfish I use for most things and my max enterprise still out performs the Valdore in pvp, for much cheaper repairs. I think. T6+ with some upgrades is when the Valdore becomes useful in pvp and armada damage events

Valdore is a sweet ride, and since explorers are easy to grind, you’ll stock up on explorer parts pretty quickly and might get further with upgrading faster. Agree on only upgrading to a certain level - I’ve yet to see any G4 ship (uncommon or rare) beyond tier 7/8, even for players in the 50’s. It’s just hard to be economical, and the parts you spend on a Valdore don’t get spent on a Korinar or Ent-A. That said, a good Valdore will serve a good long time and make up to 20 million power or more tiered up. Plus, you know, cloaking.
Player on our server has a 42 ship maxed (he's an ops 55) (he's also a massive turd)

Mine is a baby tier 3 she's a absolute beauty imo
I built and maxed all six faction ships while camping for six months at level 31. Made the rush to 35 during the Lower Decks arc and now have to build the epic 3* ships.
push to 39.. get an auger, then push.. 39 is a great spot to camp

I never understood the 'don't refine at 39' mentality. You should be mining for your dailies anyway, and it's not like you can dump unlimited amounts into the refinery once you can refine into uncommon.
I can feel your excitement Rev 😎😎🙌🙌🙌🙌, especially, after I got my own valdore. finished a huge rush from 41, two dock and two defense towers left towards shipyard 42 within the last "recruit mariner event". Now she will get some love, but as you mentioned the way towards OPS 46 and the Pilum is quite expensive so I might bring her just to T4, to Kill maxed enterprises for sure and some other 42ish ships.

It's a very nice ship, a few in my alliance have that ship. At only ops 37 heading toward 39 to camp, maybe I can get the Valdore by the end of year. I have a lot of rare officers already with maxed shards and some epics as well by following your advice on getting transporter patterns , so my officers will be in great shape by the time I get that ship.
I skipped the valdore and built the ktinga. That made it easy to kill off all enterprises and valdores.

What i thought was good about Nemesis: introduce Valdore class ship, introduced the remans and how they were treated! The dialogue was decent but i agree the movie itself was not the greatest star trek has come out with. And compared to the other movies they did it was lacking in so many areas

Romulan repair research and and territory's research make all the difference, will cut repair times to below g3 epics
Ops 42 warp research will give you +10 warp, and the t6 warp on a t5 valdore will give you +10 more, totaling warp 160 on your t5 Valdore

Love the valdore once I got it I was happy to leave the game 💓💩
I really wanted the valdore because it's actually a beautiful ship, ended up going with the ktinga though and no regrets there. Never focused on battleships before, always went for interceptors and explorers, the ktinga is awesome but the only issue is the impulse speed. The research has helped some there but still, soooo slow.
Edit: Oh yeah, Nemesis was shit.

Looking at you officers str i dont understand how my officers are almost 2x yours and only been lvl 39 for 9d
He didn't think officers were as important as ships I guess.
I would like to go for the Ka'tinga as my 1st 4* ships

Mitigation is more important than power until the ship has more lower deck slots.

Nemesis wasn't great, but not terrible. The worst part is it spawned the abomination that is Picard

So off topic. Scopley just threw out a second turf wars on server 75 after the crappy one last month. At least give us a break from crappy events.
Pretty poor advice to take the Valdore to T6-7. Huge waste of mats and rss that you will badly need to get to 46 and get the pilum or Korinar.
It's not bad advice if you have a plan and know what you're doing *shrug*. I'm not going to be in pilum/korinar range for probably close to a year.
