As I have pointed out a number of times when commenting, correct concepts and fundamentals are a must. Not coming from a golf background, you, Coach Ed, have taught me concepts and fundamentals that enable me to make sense of what's going wrong (when it is) and, knowing these fundamentals, how to work back to, "correct." The information in this video has been one of the most useful concepts in my understanding of how to build a fundamentally sound swing. Thank you for all you and Patrick do and share - greatly appreciated!
As a beginner I really appreciate you. All the videos out there give you a hundred different ways to fix or reasons your miss hits are happening but not one single person seems to want to give out a proper starting point. I've tried every method other RUclipsrs post on curing my slice and it's always the same results. My irons are great and my driver is very consistent but woth a massive slice. I knew my club path was wrong and my club face was open just couldn't cure it. Watch this and I was setting up to my driver all wrong. I'm short so always felt like I had to have the handle way out from my body to get the club to sit right. Watched this set up with the club handle 6 inches from my body and pointing at my belt buckle along with an alignment pole at a 45 like in your other video and like magic my club path is spot on and the face is square. You sir are a class act for making this information available to everyone!

Thank you so much for changing my approach to every shot. My setup routine was trash. Using your tips helped me focus my routine and I shot my best round ever today. I would love to take lessons if you ever do a clinic in FL.
Here I am, a second-hand set of Titleist that I bought from eBay sitting beside me and the best golf teacher a man in his late 50s who hasn't hit a ball for the last three decades could have ... thank you Coach Ed. You make the complicated seem so simple.
Wow, I think I was intuitively setting up like you noted, with short clubs with a ball-back position, then I saw one of the top RUclips coaches saying that the ball is always a given distance from your left foot, and it's just the right foot moving more right that causes the ball to be "more forward" in your stance. So confusing! So I'm going to try your tip and see if that helps. I was really getting screwed up trying the other method.
Honestly this video just makes me realise as a newer golfer how much of a good decision it was to get single length from 4-Lw and even my driver/3w/5w. Just keeps everything much more simple. My swing speed isn't anything to write home about i hit my 35d 7i about 135-140m and all my gapping is 10-12m. I did however choose to go with the 4 and 5 as hybrids. All Pinhawks except driver. This is just too many different setups and swing planes for me personally, have limited time to learn
I love my one length irons and I'd say my swing speed is average. For my 5i through GP and I get about a 12 yard gap and 15 yards between 60*, 56*, and 52*. My iron striking is way better now.
You have to be kidding here. If you don't know that your clubs are different lengths then you should be seeking mental health professionals not playing golf. Well unless you're Bryson DeChambeau!

This golf channel doesn't miss
Gonna try this on the course this weekend! Thanks Golf Sensei!
This is very enlightening for me
Awesome, no one touching on this topic. Well done . I enjoy being confused on a higher level, this is how I learn.

another video that makes one think about ball flight, myself I realize the need to move the ball back a bit for my wedges through 7 iron
Jack said he used the same swing?
Now who are you going to believe? 😏
The same swing isn't the same as the same ball position and same swing path.
Thanks for a great channel.
