- We tried our best to give a reaction to this song. It was our complete first time listening to it and we tried to review it. We have have some interesting perspectives to this song.

It doesn't matter whether it's socially accepted, it doesn't matter if people may judge you on what you're thinking... say it, and express how you feel. Don't be afraid to hide the way you feel because it isn't a normal line of thought or isn't accepted in society. You dont have to obey societies rules. Sometimes people dont say or do things because society teaches its not normal or your not 'meant to'. I think a lot of this song should not be taken literal (although I wouldn't doubt Kanye has contemplated killing people)
Every one has wierd thoughts, which if said out loud would sound shocking or disturbing. Be honest with yourself. Thoughts like that don't always have to be locked away. 'The most beautiful thoughts are always beside the darkest'... that's very true. Just to give an example of a topic of conversation. Most people have contemplated/thought about what they would do if anyone killed someone they loved. That's a wierd thought right? Why would you even think about that thought of a family member or friend being killed... that's dark. But like he says 'The most beautiful thoughts are always besides the darkest.'
Another point is the people you love most are also the people who give you the strongest and most powerful thoughts. The people who you love sometimes make you think in a very negative way. If you love someone and you fall out with them it makes you far angrier than if you fell out with someone you didn't care about. 'You'd only care enough to kill someone you loved.'
The start of this song is spoken word and it's very common that in spoken word they don't speak literally and instead there is a deeper meaning behind what is said. I think that this spoken word is an example of this.
Also through this album Kanye is talking about how he is bi-polar... bi polar is something which makes your feelings/thoughts far stronger. So when a normal person thinks is a negative way, he thinks in a very very negative and maybe even socially unacceptable way. The song/beat starting off calm then turning very hectic all of a sudden, I think also signifies bi-polar if that makes sense.
I hope that all sort of made sense and this is how I see the song. I think it's a very intelligent song and although I might be over thinking it, have another listen and see it from my point of view.

Well, I know it is late, but allow me to put in my dime of a thought. Kanye suffers from a mental condition called "bipolar disorder" which used to be known as the patient being "manic-depressive." This condition is one in which the patient goes on temporary "manic" episodes like a maniac, and he also experiences "depressive" episodes like a depressed person (highs and lows). in the manic episode, the person basically explodes, and in the depressive state, the person goes in a shell and buries himself in his thoughts. Kanye is different. He feels that his bipolar condition makes him who he is, and he refuses to be medicated. So he learned to deal with the disorder in another way: instead of burying himself in his thoughts, he verbally expresses them. Therefore, even his depressive states appear to be manic outbursts, and he is always on a high. However, the flipside of that kind of self-therapy is that he would sound as though he is rambling sometimes. So in his own ingenious way, he puts some thoughts out into songs. Thus such a weird song like: "I thought about killing you." That's all, folks.
I do think when people with this type of condition are known for certain outbursts we ignore his statements and attribute a song like this to creativity, which is why I called it dangerous in the video.. But I hope the people around him help him seek help if he's willing and even if he's unwilling... Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.. More to come...
Hes not literally meaning of killing someone. Hes talking about killing someone he loved within the mind. He was so rock bottom about them that he thought about losing himself. (Killing) but he loved himself so much more that hes guna rise above that person. Dont take it literally
