The way to a Man's heart is through his stomach and Joe you have a good gal there that knows how to keep you happy. Boy can she cook, you have a keeper. And Joe you're an amazing craftsman like your father, the cabinets came out beautiful. Love your videos and your amazing family. You would be anybody's dream neighbor, I bet your neighbors have nothing but praise for you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving.
Your organization and efforts as to being prepared are truly amazing. There is great comfort in being able to help your self, but others also, and you always try to be that kind of person. This ability to be organized when life offers challenging situations is so very respected. These aspects and your calm disposition are reasons so many of us respect and admire you.
You guys work so hard to make everything perfect for your family, but when it doesn't work out, you smile and carry on. That's what you do with family. I've done this for my family many times and don't get upset if things don't go as planned because that's just what you do for family. No hard feelings.
~~~ My dear friends your channel is one of my top channels. I have been asking friends to come view it....What a joy it was for me to watch this video. Thank you and ...GOD'S JOY.
3 hours, bloody hell, I've never been in snow, or very close to it either. I once saw it on nearby mountain tops when I was in Europe many years ago, but still a few miles away. As pretty as it is, it's no wonder people often get sick of the work involved and want to move away from cold climates.
Oh i would be jumping all around that place in the snow 🤗😁 Chasing the tractor and goofing off😁😆 Loved seeing all the food. Yum!! Keep filming you guys are FUN 🌸🌸🌸
the old tractor sounds good . we use to live like that then we got old and we sold the place , miss it. I use to enjoy my time on the tractor bush hogging and repairing fence it was relaxing and peaceful . you are very fortunate . hope your family arrives safe and we hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving
First time here. SO glad I found you! Your poor wife cooking all that food and having to cancel. I gotta say your life seems so ideal!! A lot of hard work not just anyone can do! But I subscribed and think I will spend the evening watching all your videos!! Stay warm.
Thanks. Really enjoyed watching you work and cook. I spent 5 years in Rochester, NY with the heavy lake snow and despite being a native deep South Rebel, I really do miss that kind of life. Thanks again for a super video of a portion of your life.
All that hard work for Thanksgiving and mother nature wrecks it all. All that money spent on food ugh! The cabinets turned out amazing. Wow! beautiful snow. We got our first snow storm on December 1st here in coastal Connecticut. Keep warm.
Saw this pop up during my day of teaching. Could not wait to get home and end my evening right. I love teaching math and watching all channels of this great man. Inspiring with every watch of every video.
I was waiting and waiting for you to take the flag in. After sundown, it's time for it to come down. If you leave lights on outside, it's ok to let it stay up. It's the Girl Scout in me ...and I am also my Army Air Corps (WWII) father's daughter. We all remembered the custom growing up. ;-) Enjoying the video. Thanks.
Joe this coming spring/ summer you may want to think about putting a lean-to on side of the building you have the tractor sitting by & block off the end so it would stop all that snow being on that pretty tractor
That was a refreshing video and shows how a cancellation of a big get together should be handled calmly. You folks did a great job with a bad situation. We like all you have accomplished with your kitchen, it looks great. The meal you all prepared was awesome. Looking forward to seeing your cooking videos. Thanks for sharing with us.
Wow! You went up there to green grass & leave a winter wonderland! Goodness. Sorry about your family celebration though. Man, the kitchen is SO nice! What a difference especially compared to how it was when you bought it. Together you two are making it a nice home.
Hi I'm your neighbor a mile and a half away to the East, I know the former owners I went to school with there son. I helped build the sewer system for the place. I love your video of the place, hope your do more videos thanks for sharing that Snow Storm I plowed for three days, with my Farmall M also..
We need to exchange phone numbers. Did you help build both septic systems? Sometimes I have questions about the place and it would be nice to have someone that would know or at least be able to point me in the right direction. Email me so we can exchange numbers for texting. joe@homeandcabinconstruction.com Thank you Tony.
If something does happen with the power you guys will have plenty of food to eat. Great video. I missed hearing Sara laugh. LOL Hope she made it home safe.
That tractor gets the job done, really impressed you're staying ahead of the snow and the reward at the end of the day is some of the best food waiting inside when you're done.
I sure u guys were disappointed that u could not have the whole family together for Thanksgiving,after all the hard work u two put into the house and Melissa doing some awesome cooking but how great was it to sit back and watch the snow storm come in and not have to go or drive anywhere.nice job Melissa looks like Joe's set for leftover for a month,take care
Absolutely love this video. Thanks to you and your lovely women and mother nature for all the great content. I here in Shelbyville Tn haven't seen a big snow like this since 93. And we lived in a valley and were ground due to drifts enormously tall! I bought a Ford Bronco that year due to a new job and it had 4x4. I was, I So Got This...puleeze I'd thought I'd resurrected my old baby blue Pinto, lol. Merry Christmas and HUGS & Blessings!
Thank you for sharing all the activities you par-take to keep the farm functional. Your cabinets look beautiful and it's beyond my words to see the fine cooking meals that was prepared. Thanks again from your new subscriber in Northwest Arkansas.
Hello everyone! Joe, be careful cranking the tractor on while not seating on its seat up. There's an old saying that says "never turn on or crank on a tractor unless you're seating on its seat" and some followed saying "I heard about a lot of accidents because of people turning on their tractors, it being engaged and the tractor does the normal thing yet, horrid run comes over". Please be careful!
Oh Joe, If my wife cooked like Melissa, I'd probably be a dead man by now because I'd eat it all, everyday, all day. That looked so good. You're a lucky man Joe.
"singing" Love is lovlier .... the second time around; as are videos: thanks Joe and Melissa for the review video. 4/2/2022; Camarillo Grammy; THAT'S A LOT OF SNOW; BEAUTIFUL!
Melissa, may I please have your pecan bar recipe? Like many of your viewers I really appreciate what you share. Happy Holidays, upcoming. Sorry that all that good food didn’t get eaten by the family. The storms seem pretty bad. Hoping Christmas Season for you all is just as terrific as your Thanksgiving! God keep you and Joe!
We didn't get near that much snow here in west central MN. We probably had 4 inches or so. That's a lot of snow to push. We used to push snow with a Farmall M & a farmhand bucket. When it's as deep as what you had that's when a tractor mounted snowblower comes in real handy. Thanks for the video.
it's 7:30 AM, and looking at all that food has made me feel hungry. Got to get up right now and cook some of my fantastic foods. No snow near me.Thank G-D. but it's cold. HA, HA. Thank you for taking me on your journey, called life. Stay safe and G-D Bless.
Ya did a great job on those cabinets Joe they look really nice and I'm loving that snow. And the food as always looks delicious. Thanks for sharing buddy.
Just found your channel and O MY GOODNESS this is awesome! LOVE IT! Such a beautiful place! The food looks fantastic and the snow is gorgeous! God bless y'all!
The two of you must have gained 20lbs. with all that food cooked. It all looked amazing. I live in Mason City, IA and we didn't go to the cities because of the weather here and what was coming to the cities. Maybe next year! Great video!
I agree that is very therapeutic to watch. Also where do you find a husband with such a can do attitude? Painting cupboards, cleaning carpets, smoking meat, setting up beds, shopping, making chilli, checking and feeding the animals, collecting eggs and spending all day clearing snow etc etc. WOW!
Sorry about your thanksgiving but all for the best that was quite the storm! Glad Sarah made it to spend some time with you (what an amazing girl!)..O.M.G. all that food my frying pan is coming out i am now starving thanks to you :)..Thanks for sharing!
we had r T day on Sunday b4 thanksgivins,(12" of snow on T day!) feel yur pain... but? be Happy... always be Happy w/ family & friends, no matter wat day!!! Blessings!!!
What a shame your family couldn't get together after all your hard work, but its better everyone stays safe. Hopefully everyone can get together soon. Good on Sara for helping.
Too bad the weather cancelled the family getting together, but Christmas isn't too far off, and hopefully the weather will cooperate. Boy did you get socked with snow though. We get that occasionally here in Northeast Ohio, not like the old days, since about '78, it just doesn't snow like that very often.
Wow!!! That looked like a beautiful feast!!!! We would have made the trek for a bounty like that!!!.... but we are not that far away.... LOL! Gotta love the winters...... Thanks for sharing!
we used to have an old openstation international farmall with loader wich we got tired of moving snow out in the openstation wich we traded it in for a nice $48,000 kubota M8540 a 85.4hp tractor with a M30 loader , 84'' bucket and 6 foot snowblower wich wasnt bad package deal
Joe you need to bring the guys up to help you buil a lean to shed over the tractor to keep the rain and the snow off of it , it will be so much better not to have to fight the tarp every time you go out to use it to plow ❄️ snow⛄️
Loved the video. All the food looked yummy. Thank you for spending time on making these for all of us. One thing Joe, we want you around for a long time so don't start that tractor standing in front of the wheels again! That an order! Take care.
Beautiful cabinets, Joe! But that snow - imagine what it would have been like with all those people over and that stuff coming in. Looks like winter is here for real. And thousands of OCD patients across the world are rejoicing to see both Farmall tires with chains!
Omgosh all that delicious looking food!!!!😮😮😮. When yal cook, yal cook, lol. So sorry about yals Thanksgiving plans, that really stinks😢. Cabinets and the kitchen look great. Down home look and feel to it. Loved the video. Nice shot of Sarah and Melissa at the restaurant.. Tyfs God bless you
Hey Joe, Wow, you guys really got nailed on that storm. We didn't get much on the NW side of the state. I'm fairly observant, but this is the first time I noticed your grill was an Oklahoma Joe...Very fitting to name a grill after you. ;) (even though your from MN)
Man! You have the master of all spice racks! Wishing I lived in the north like y’all! Stuck here in between everyone, never a guaranteed snowstorm in StL!
Love the channel Joe!!! I'm across the country from you guys in little Rhode Island. To date we have only had 5" of snow so far this winter, and that's fine with us!
Melissa! Love you hair! I felt so bad for you two, you guys have been working so hard getting the place ready for the big Thanksgiving family get together and then you have to cancel!
Love Your Video's, I'm a Widow and 73 years old.I'm hooked You are replacing a lot of nonsense on TV,please keep the Video's coming.
Thank you Carol. more videos to come.
There's something therapeutic about watching this man go about his day.
Except for the vacuuming! lol
I agree 100%
I wish I was organized like he is.
Yep I watch him whenever I want to fall asleep fast
IT sure is...
I think I've watched this video 10 times. It's my favorite as I've stated before and very relaxing to me.
Yes, I worried about that flag staying out as well. Baby Boomer here. Do not let the sun go down on it. xo
Joe this coming spring/ summer you may want to think about putting a lean-to on side of the building you have the tractor sitting by & block off the end so it would stop all that snow being on that pretty tractor
that is really great advice! I never thought of that!
As I sit here in Tupelo, MS . . . . Watching this it brings back so many snowy memories of Winter in Western New York. LOL!
That was a refreshing video and shows how a cancellation of a big get together should be handled calmly. You folks did a great job with a bad situation. The 2 seconds that Joe laid down on the air mattress is the most down time I have ever seen him take. 🤣
Oh my goodness Melissa, you need to do cooking and baking shows!! YUM!!!
Misslisa is lucky to have a man that does the outside work I do mine myself lost my husband he did alot but I help him to
My bones hurt just watching the plowing. Happy Thanksgiving! I'd have a snowplow on that diesel.
Beautiful cabinets, Joe! But that snow - imagine what it would have been like with all those people over and that stuff coming in. Looks like winter is here for real. And thousands of OCD patients across the world are rejoicing to see both Farmall tires with chains!
Love Melissa plants and stand n the Kitchen Green Thumb!!! YESSS
love your videos and as all youtubers can see,you dont need music in your videos,keep up the good work
Exactly, I wan to hear the tractor, chickens, wind blowing, snow falling, rain, waves crashing, etc. I sometimes x out of videos because of the music
Omgosh all that delicious looking food!!!!😮😮😮. When yal cook, yal cook, lol. So sorry about yals Thanksgiving plans, that really stinks😢. Cabinets and the kitchen look great. Down home look and feel to it. Loved the video. Nice shot of Sarah and Melissa at the restaurant.. Tyfs God bless you
Man! You have the master of all spice racks! Wishing I lived in the north like y’all! Stuck here in between everyone, never a guaranteed snowstorm in StL!
Great video Joe you all can keep that snow out there in Minnesota I like your old formal tractor. Hope all is well with you all
Lots of food and lots of snow...Thank god for the Farmall......
Love the channel Joe!!! I'm across the country from you guys in little Rhode Island. To date we have only had 5" of snow so far this winter, and that's fine with us!
Nothing like good ole cornbread dressing to put you into a Thanksgiving Day coma.
Thanks for sharing!
Love everything about the farm life! Good life good living!
I absolutely love the opener of your videos keep them coming
I believe Joe loves to drive that old tractor. I don’t blame him ,it looks like fun.
If there is such a thing as a virtual dinner I had a helping of EVERYTHING! Yum... I'm full.
Melissa! Love you hair!
I felt so bad for you two, you guys have been working so hard getting the place ready for the big Thanksgiving family get together and then you have to cancel!
That meal looked outrageously delicious.
Put some of that plastic snow fence down your driveway to stop the drifting don't cost much and you can keep reusing it
