Thanks for watching, I will be starting this kit this month, just setting up my new workshop. Orange and white would look sharp, I will keep it in mind. Cheers
Thanks Wayne and I am waiting for the convertible to get up here to Ontario, I have some of my birthday money set aside. Maybe you can do a review of the convertible? Cheers
Just ordered one-got the Bel air already but badly built but hope they re-issue that one aswell. This will be only the third big scale kit ive ever bought as its normally 1/24/25 in my collection.Other 1/16 ive got is a Don Garlits Dragster-rear engine i bought in 87.
Thanks for stopping by, the Nomad has always been a great kit to build and I see that Round 2 is releasing the 55 Bel Air convertible in June, I will be picking 1 up . Cheers
Thanks Paul, this is a good kit, but old. This is a down the road build as I am searching for quite a bit of aftermarket items to bring up the level of detail. Cheers
Wayne Osborne. Well I was going to look for aftermarket bits as well. I'm building my first car a 1955 chevy pickup, a challenging build but different. It was funny ordering this kit and then finding your video' thank you for showing the kit.
You are doing a great job on the truck, your skills as a military builder will serve you well building cars. Check out TDR Innovations for the 1/16 scale aftermarket parts for the Nomad, they are 3D printed by Shapeways and can get very expensive. Cheers
Wayne Osborne, Well I just test fitted the engine in the kit "1/25 Chevy 1955 cameo main body frame" and it does't fit at all frustration" bit of a shock. Not sure how to proceed? Will be looking for solution later tonight.
I just came across your channel today and I have watched a few of your videos and really enjoyed them. Also, I've really enjoyed this review ( great review ) and I very much liked how you talked about the kit from when you built it back in 78, it all goes a long way with me and makes a great review even better. Thanks and I am looking forward to watching more of your channel. Jeff
Thanks Jeff, I appreciate the comment and the support. This is a future build that I am collecting aftermarket parts for before I start the build. Cheers
Great kit review Wayne... I've been considering building a bigger scale like 1/16th to 1/12th. Possibly the Nomad or the Camaro!! Thanks for letting us peek into the box!! Take care buddy!
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your support. I went over to your channel and I have a lot of videos to catch up on and subbed you back. Cheers brother.
Thanks for watching Tom, I wouldn't hesitate buying from TDR if I was going on a show circuit, but, that 409 engine is just too expensive to have just sit on a shelf. I am looking for a 1/16 Corvette to steal the engine from. Cheers
Hi Sammy, my plan was to start this kit in September, but, I have not even started looking for the aftermarket parts for it. It could still happen depending on the aftermarket. Cheers
Thanks for watching and I am sorry that you feel it was a bad review. I am not a professional movie maker nor a professional model builder, just a small part of a modeling community, I will try better the next time. Cheers
I fancy this built as a street rod, orange and white, white interior. Your imagination and taste will reward you in spades
Thanks for watching, I will be starting this kit this month, just setting up my new workshop. Orange and white would look sharp, I will keep it in mind. Cheers
I got the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible 1/16 scale kit #T 846 for my birthday about 4 weeks ago, great model, by the way like the kit review, , ,

Cool, would like to see a video or 2 of your work and your real 55 Chevy. I once owned a 57 Belair sport coupe back in the mid 70's. Cheers
Holy Crap, Thats huge!! Cant wait to see more of this build Wayne!
Thanks for watching Michael, these larger kits are a good change of pace for me. This should be a 2017 build for sure. Cheers

Just to say' I extended the drive shaft and altered the front engine mounting brackets on the cars main frame. Well I can now move on lol.

Them are nice kits to find. I'd like to buy a couple of those for my stash too
Thanks for watching George, it would make a great rat rod. Cheers
good review Wayne. It would look kick A$$ with a 409 in it.
Thanks Rick and I agree, that 409 would look great, just too darn expensive. Cheers
Great open box review Wayne, I've had my eye on that kit for a while now, and now I know what is in there. Thanks for sharing!
No problems Dwayne, that is why I did the review, there is not much info on the kit on RUclips. Should be a fun build. Cheers
Very cool kit Wayne! Lots of plastic there!!
Nice kit Wayne, l'll be watching to see your progress, hope you have lots of BMF.
Thanks for watching Steve, looks like miles and miles of BMF.

Looks like a good kit you can work with and modify. Thank you.
Thanks doc, I was really surprised at the lack of flash and the overall quality of the kit.

Looks pretty good Wayne, especially being AMT, have you looked over at TDR innovations for aftermarket parts? Can get expensive, :) Tom
Thanks for watching Tom, I wouldn't hesitate buying from TDR if I was going on a show circuit, but, that 409 engine is just too expensive to have just sit on a shelf. I am looking for a 1/16 Corvette to steal the engine from. Cheers
Wayne Osborne I can understand that Wayne, I have spent a lot on aftermarket parts myself, Tom
On the other hand, if I built it for ACME, then it makes perfect sense to blow the budget, right.
Cragar SST's "Super Street Trick"
Thank you, you are correct, I was having a seniors moment back then. Thanks for watching. Cheers
Nice review!
Thanks Charles, this kit would really look great with the Modelmind 72 touch. Cheers
Nice kit
Yes, I am having a hard time leaving it in the stash until summer. Cheers
i've got that same kit
Cool, these are my favorite cars to build, the nomads. Cheers
Sounds like you need to get another job to support your habit!!!!!!
This is why I can't retire for a few more years. Cheers
When are you g0ing to build it?
Hi Sammy, my plan was to start this kit in September, but, I have not even started looking for the aftermarket parts for it. It could still happen depending on the aftermarket. Cheers
nice kit, bad review, you didn't do much, but concentrated on the body only ???
