Just found you and your story. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Had surgery and now doing chemo. You inspire me so much. I love your strength and it makes it easier to stay positive when I hear your story. Most of the time I'm pretty positive but I have my meltdown moments. I was told recently that the meltdown moments are all part of the healing journey. Keep rockin it! God Bless!!

When you have cancer, you discover rather quickly that your body pretty much is not your body, but, an entity that wants to do what IT wants. It will definitely make you contemplate the spiritual and that which is eternal with the hope of being pain free for eternity.

I am so grateful for your heart & strength. I loved when you answered the question about your faith and stated that you truly believe that God didn't "do" this to you. So often folks are under the impression that God is someone that gives illness and trials to people "who he chooses are the strongest". You totally hit the nail on the head that He isn't the perpetrator of your illness, but rather the healer throughout this whole situation. Keep doing you, girl. Thank you so much for being so honest & open. You truly are helping so many people with your heart. I'm praying for you!

God definitely has this in His hand, everything does happen for a reason.I don't want to sound "super-Spiritual" but during my treatments I can testify that God used chemo as a way to bind my family closer and to draw me close to Him. I wanted to be a football star, and was on track, then senior year I found out that I had Non-Hodgkins in my left arm. at first I was completely resilient but then I completely gave up my control to God, and in that literally there was a peace that we couldn't understand. I'm glad God used that as way to bind me and my parents closer to Him through our struggles.Don't give up hope! trust in God! through the stupid-crappy-hard times He still shows us His grace in His patience!and as my great Grandmother once told my parents."you just hold on to the unchanging hand of God"peace.Titus 4:2, Psalms 42:5

Chey, have your doctor recommended any immunotherapy clinical trial ? How are you doing now ? Please ask your doctor about it, specially some optimistic news coming in media about ovarian cancer and immunotherapy.

Cheyann : I am from India and i happened to come across your story on one of the online news sites. The only thing i can take away from your story is that we just cannot take our life for granted. You are such a strong person , and the manner in which you , your family and your husband have eclipsed your sorrows and decided to fight this dreaded disease is so motivating. From today on wards i will always say a silent prayer for you and, we may never meet in person but please keep in mind that somewhere in this world there is a well wisher who will always pray that you recover soon and get back to your passion of bodybuilding. Cheyann, do you have a family history of Breast or Ovarian Cancer? My mom died young, and my Grandma and Aunt both have had Breast Cancer...strong family history! We ended up discovering the BRCA2+ gene mutation runs in my family...It affects not just breast cancer but also ovarian...I'm undergoing a Prophylactic Bilateral Mastectomy in March 2017- to reduce my very high risk... You also mentioned in this video about a test to check for Ovarian Cancer- it's called the CA125 blood test. It's still not a very good way to detect cancer because it gives a lot of false positives... My prayers are for you, your family and new husband! I'm also a newlywed as well! Sept. 3rd for us!

if u r with GOD nothing will stand in ur way but I would love to share with you something because I have a true feeling that 100% u will be ok and u will win ur battle so what I want to tell u about I dunno if I would take me seriously or no but as long as u go to church every Sunday I want u to ask them about (the evil eye) there is 30 Verses about evil eyes in the Bible , so what it means that for example if someone is looking at you and wishing they were as positive or getting better or whatever is going on good with your life , and they can't do it so if they feel this way it could mess things up for u , I have another religion and we have the same thing about the evil eye because not every soul is pure , I really want u to cut down all the details about ur treatment just because I want everything to be going great with you , u know u have thousands of viewers and can't trust them all , from all of my heart I wish u could see my msg and reply because I would love to know that u read my comment because I want you to be careful I want u to get better , even if u don't believe what I wrote I just wish u ask someone At ur church , BEST WISHES !!! it is awesome to hear your faith so strong and to see you with such a possitive mind. I have a strong faith in God, the creator of all things and realize he created a world so perfect for us, which includes healing herbs with medicinal uses. just keep that in mind when you refer to different diets consisting of raw fruits and vegetables, because anything we need to heal ourselves God has mad abundance in nature. I don't doubt God has big plans for you, but he also puts trials in our lives in order to truly connect to nature and our roots. we are meant to use his amazing gifts to heal ourselves. Cancer is a symptom of something WE have created, whether it's toxins, technology, chemicals in our foods. I would strongly recommend just really thinking about different diet changes when you are able to because it will make a huge difference. that being said you are already doing amazing and a huge inspiration. a distant family member completely got rid of his cancer and brain tumour. I would take the time to completely rid your diet of cancer causing toxins and chemicals in crappy food, supplements, etc!
