Thanks for the video. Please keep in mind that the people watching your video's probably have never done what you are demonstrating and can't possibly follow along at the speed you show. Maybe you could write the steps down and add them to the description. Try having your wife watch your video and see if she can do what you are showing. Thank you for posting the video and imagine the people who are watching are the same ones that left their VCR's flashing 12:00 for years.
what he said I'm more confused now' it's been 6 months and I'm so frustrated with sdruno. I want to decode sats and digital, but nothing is intuitive. I'm not alone about this program, it needs embedded tutorials and intuitive interface not buried menus within menus.
many thanks Mike, for showing this and how to set up the audio cable, something I was confused with when I purchased mine, and thankfully you got me sorted pretty quick, thanks for all your help Mike, kind regards...Keith M1EMC, in Swindon uk
Thanks, the video was helpful - to a point. It lacks some troubleshooting if something goes wrong. For example, I thought I followed direction but the audio was choppy and high pitched. I learned two things that I think should be included: 1) The problem was that the 'Playback' tab I had it set to sample rate of 48000 and on the record it was set to 192000. This was the cause of the higher pitch. A lower pitch would be caused by reversing the sample rates. 2) The sample rates pf playback and record do not have to be 192000 but they do have to be set the same or you get some strange audio. So, my questions is why do you set it to 192000 rather than 48000 or some other rate?
I use 192k for RDS spy. I haven't experienced any issues with other decoders having my input and output set at 192k. I reccoemend contacting the developers directly for troubleshooting issues or queries..
Hello, I have a problem with virtual audio cable, don't work in any decoder I have, for example openind Sigmira, the error is I can't open Wave in device. Why have I these problems? Thank you.
Hi Mike, just coming back into using sdruno again. I am running windows 7 pro, together with ham radio deluxe and wsjtx. I am using a 1 only vb cable which works fine. But I can’t remember how best to listen to uno for the airband only. I have no audio from PC. I have tried disabling vb cable in record and playback. Also in sdruno (rsp1) where I only have two options. The vb cable or, output from radio. Would a simple remedy be to launch another vrx? I have updated uno to the latest 1.41.1 Thanks I am a G7 based in England.
You will need to pass the audio from the vb cable to the primary soundcard under your control panels sound options. Select listen to this device and select your primary playback device.
It appears that Windows has changed the screens to monitor the source after selecting Virtual Audio Cable to pipe output from SDRPlay to MMSSTV or WSJT-X. Are you aware of any other work-arounds?
Thanks for the comment. Sorry you didn't find it helpful. I'm not sure how I can provide and easier walkthough of the setup but you can check the DOCUMENTATION & VIDEO CATALOGUE section of SDRplay.com, keying in the word/words "VAC" or "virtual audio cable" www.sdrplay.com/apps-catalogue/

@@radiotests I know right! He talks so fast and flicks the mouse around so fast that it's hard to make sense of it!
That sorted my settings out to listen in also as decoding......Brilliant Thank you Mike.
You are very welcome.
I really needed this and had no problem following along. Thank you and 73 DE NM7C

Hi Keith, thank you for commenting. Glad this video sorted it all out for you.
Is there any disadvantage using the windows mixer instead of a VAC?

If this is on Windows 10, it could be bliocking the connection via the system privacy settings.
@@SDRplayHamGuides exactly which setting might affect the ability to interface the two apps. Thank you.

None that I am aware of
Nice video ... thank's ;)
My pleasure. Glad you found it helpfull.
This seems like a really clumsy way to output audio. I know you could do it with a plugin, why haven't you? Is that asking too much?
Not a clue what you're talking about. How about explain a little bit instead of assuming we know what you're doing.

Like always, nothing to understand....I wish to have power to delete videos like this
You do have the power to skip them.
Well, I found it helpful using this to connect SDR++ to FLDigi. Thanks!
