That SAM w/ the AM SOFT Filter is great! Thank you. And for this whole series, BTW. I received an RSPdx for Christmas and I've just been fumbling around, figuring it out as I go, but I'm going to watch this entire series. To get the most out of this awesome receiver. Thanks again.

Keep 'um coming! I've got your previous videos bookmarked and these new ones will join the list. Every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new. I view the videos on one computer while operating the sdr on another. With this arrangement the pause button is my best friend. Thanks so much.

Just a quick word of praise for your series of videos. I recently purchased a RSPdx and have read the manual, played with it (wasted a lot of time) , looked a number of poor, to fairly decent youtube tutorials, and wanted to tell you that I find your videos the most informative for coming up to speed on understanding how to use the software and device so far... Warmest regards.
One thing I've learned.. I started using the software on a laptop with nothing other than a touch pad.. While it works, it's a lot of work to try and use it that way and see that the software was really designed to use a mouse with a scroll wheel. I have them laying around snd plugged one in.. Night and day.. Anyone looking at my comment, I recommend you use a mouse with a scroll wheel. The software is much more pleasurable to use that way.

Thank you a lot Mike for this video series! It helps a long way with using the software - now things are starting to make sense :-) ... I think SDRuno is one of the more difficult tools to learn ... and good video guides like yours are very helpful then. I am just (re) starting here with amateur radio - and so far I don`t have a transmitter for short wave, so am using SRDplay very often currently. Actually I am thinking about getting a MFJ-1708B box and continue using SDRplay together with a short wave transmitter, as of the good software and filtering options in SDRuno / SRDplay. Greetings from Germany, 73 de Robert / DB1RKB

Thank you so much for the kind words. This PDF should help you if you decide to create a panadapter with the MFJ1708 www.sdrplay.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/AffordableProtectionRev2.pdf

Hi Mike , I am using a small laptop as a dedicated computer for my SDRPlay Duo. Are there keyboard shortcuts to change frequencies or must I get a mouse wheel to change frequencies. Thank you for the informative video, very professional!

You can use your keyboards spacebar and numerically enter in the frequency . Using a mouse would be ideal.
