Thank you. You gave me the courage to change my 67 Catalina steering wheel. It was a little bit different from the GTO but still enough info here to guide my process. I did have to manufacture my horn connection, but it works great! Thanks again.
Aimes or the manufacturer of that wheel should have given you a written reminder note why that notch on the wheel is for. Please always disconnect the battery. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks couldnt figure out how to get it off, I used my ball joint remover worked fine ordered a new one from Amazon with all new parts $180 delivered, Grant steering wheel with Pontiac logo
Dude, Side Note, You have the steering wheel OFF 90 degrees to the right!! Noted the line-groove, on the hub that is welded to the wheel! That line should be at 12 oclock, you have it pointing at 3 oclock.Just sayin.

Thanks for posting - very helpful.
Great video Rusell, do you have one showing how to change the "cancel cam" on the turn signal level :)
He didn’t line the notch on shaft with the notch on the steering wheel. The plastic cam can be turned to accommodate the notch line up.
Thank you, I have '67 Dodge Coronet, should be the same.
Thank you.
