Little man, little warrior. Your culture is in good hands
What an awesome comment!
@@cesar_yf2637 an absolutely on comment!
❤️
With the last name being O'Brien, he is a very lucky little man, two major cultures runny though he's veins.
So adorable how he put his hands away in his hoodie so fast at the end, kid with no fear still a pure heart!
I like how you can tell the man to his right is his dad. He keeps looking up to him for validation and encouragement. Also dad keeps checking on him to make sure he is okay. It is so cute.
And he looks down at him to make sure his best bud is okay!
His father is the man to his left (i know of them personally) 🙂
I love how his dad always glances at him to make sure he’s ok. Good parenting!!!
He was actually making sure he wasn't in his way, vice verser. nothing to do with parenting.
Thats his uncle
@kiefer Maynard, Good Parenting?!! He's teaching his son to call up demons! Do you think that's a good thing?
@@toconnor6811 if you dont understand the culture....dont say these types of things
@@toconnor6811 so that means if my mates welcomes me with haka then that means they're welcoming a demon home? Get outta here.
As a Fijian i am blessed to be born into the pacific ring of islands rich with culture n tradition and most of all strength in humility.
This is a beautiful example of it
Vinaka NZ...
Pls if you know the lyrics pls can you give it to the curious i am 😅😁

I agree, I’m a Kanak girl from New-Caledonia Kanaky and I’m proud to belong to our great Pacific family 💙🌊
It is intense to watch. I love when natives teach their young traditions. It is so important to teach traditions so their history is not erased. I’m American and have yet to experience a Haka but before I leave this earth I WILL. Blessings
Natives?!
@@carrie-anneking3461 uno wt he ment I did n I'm Maori some people just lack knowledge through no fault of their own 🤙
I have family in New Zealand, they do this every time I fly over
I feel the exact same..before I leave this earth I hope to see the Haka preformed in person..I know in years past many people felt they could not teach their traditions and culture because it was frowned upon..'you're in America live like that' but it saddens me how many generations don't know the languages the traditions..but hopefully with time and understanding people will realize yes you're in America but you also have strong ties to the past..be proud of who you are. What you are..and remember people lost their lives to make it better for the newer generations..give them the respect and blessings for who they was..the most important words..respect and kindness and acceptance. 💝
Thank you for sharing your kind words and goals which I hope you can do. Much respect to you and our American friends. Proud Kiwi
Tristan is my son's name, it is the name of a warrior. This little boy has definitely earned his name with that haka. Best thing I have seen today.
Kia Ora Whaea can you please tell me the name of this Haka? also Your moko is awesome! He’s so inspiring and already he has such powerful mana. And it’s True regarding his name, the name Tristan is a warriors name of Celtic origin. May his life journey be blessed and may the Light of Io Matua Kore always guide him. Tihei Mauriora
I wonder if he realizes the warrior he will soon be...🤔🤔🤔
By the way he put down on that Haka, I would say yes, I think he would. You can see the values he's being taught in his warrior display. The pride of his dad (?) uncles beside him is evident. I'm very sure they let him know.
Teach them about their past, so they may shine bright into the future. Absolutely touching, and beautiful. His parents are doing him up right.
I swear I could watch this bairn all day. What a wonderful thing to learn.
Seeing you put bairn down to describe the little man, brought a smile to my face,,my grandad was Scottish,,from the Great Glenn Strathspey, belong to a group of clan's called Chattis,, don't quote me,been a long time back to remember,, I'm part Maori,,grandad Anderson married a Maori lady,,and the rest is History as we say,now my we part Scott's bairns are carrying on just like this little champ,,yes,we Maori and Scottish people are very closely related,, might as well add Welsh, and Irish as well,, cheer's
My grandmother is from Scotland. The little bairn made me smile too. Aroha ❤ NZ
@@icebergrose8955 okay okay, I need to know now "bairn" yours and Morris's response tells me this praise in the speaking :)
That's right proud dad. (And we are proud of dad) Keep that tradition alive through your wonderful son. Obviously dad is proud of his son, his heritage and his relationship with his son.
Love how his uncles keep watching out for him.
... love how the camera shakes with the stomp, and how the Gentlemen close to the boy care and enjoy the moment. A sweet little reminder of how we should treat and teach our sons. Well done, and thank you.
Another young warrior doing his apprenticeship. Awesome
Everytime I see haka it makes my hair stand on end! I get chills it is so powerful! And to see this little one not miss a beat and all the passion he has for what's going on is fantastic! I just absolutely love it! Thank you so much.
My tears watching his honor for his father. The shared adoration and passion is amazing.
Love to see you teaching the young ones brother being a black fella from Australia we lost alot of our traditional ways God bless cuz
Much love brother from New Zealand
Right on, Lil bro! You rocked it. Man I couldn't help noticing he was spot on and keeping with his dad (?) and uncles.
I cannot get enough of this video! That little one is sooo cute! Definitely a true blue Warrior! Wow!
this is how the culture lives on, something this powerful , this raw that fuels emotion , brings people together & reminds them of where they come from has to be passed on
This seems fun, as an American to learn and experience. It’s definitely emotional and rich with tradition that in America we don’t get to really experience. The Maori teaching and passing on traditions to their young is super good! And I hope to one day experience it *^*
I watch this often, I revel in Tristans' contribution He is wonderful, as is his uncles
Hello from Ukraine!!! Great respect and admiration. Ukrainians are also proud and independent people!
Baby ... this is so precious to me
I'm so sorry, but he is intimidatingly adorable! Make your family proud lil Tristan!
Ohh, giving him confidence while building tradition!!!
What a little, tiny badass!! I love this kid!!
Amen to that!
OMG, this was wonderful, long live tradition in that young man and his heart.
Even the uncle on the left looks proud too 🇳🇿❤
Bless his little heart, he put all his effort into that haka. Well done little man x
This little man, puts his heart and soul into this haka, Good job, little man.
Absolutely beautiful and made me tear up. Beautiful. Many blessings to that young man and his family. God bless
Our culture is in good hands
Pls can you give me the lyrics please
@@adamamlal3325 Just google "Ka mate" on google, and you can find them.
@@SeyfElasri no this ain't ka mate because the lyrics are tenei te tangata p huru p huru and it s not
The little guy is absolutely beautiful! Way too cute & adorable! Thank you for the upload.
The young one had more passion and expression than some of the older guys! Someone spent a lot of time teaching and explaining to this young one. Glad to see the ways are being passed down.
What a beautiful way to see things taught and past on. If we don't teach and live what is handed down will be lost. What little I know of my family is so spotted that our history will be lost with my sons. How blessed all of you, your past, your present and your future will be. Thank you for sharing.
Brings a tear to my eye. Great to see tradition shared from generation to generation. Keep it going forever and always. Love u kiwi brothers and sisters
can't expalain this energy love from nepal💖🙏
Love Nepal such genuine layed back hard working, loving caring people. From 1st hand experience my Niece is married to a lovely chap from there where they live with their 2sons and have been waiting to come back to New Zealand to live to be close with her Wànàu (family) 💜
Love it 💚 from Ireland to NZ
So emotional. So proud to be a Kiwi - and an O'Brien at that. Proud of our Maori brothers and heritage.
Mean as my brother!
I watch this video, every chance I can, and it brings a big smile to my face. Good job
As a preschool teacher I'm praying this fella is valued at his preschool and his culture respected. Children are so capable and this reminded me how much they are . I don't know why this made me so emotional, I guess it's that I want to see Maori excel and prosper
In New Zealand, we have "language nests" for pre schoolers to learn. These small kiwis are taught by the grandparents. Other native people around the world have copied our nests, from the Welsh to Native American tribes. Its passing on heritage. I'm European but my granddaughter is half Maori and at age nine speaks Maori very well. As she should in her own country.
Tears by watching! Sooooo cool!
Wee wheels in the middle keeping up with the grown men was probably the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time, and now I’m convinced the Māoris come out of the womb already knowing how to Haka 🥰🥰
That boy has a spirit of a warrior lion🙏🏾
Lindoooo ese niño lleno de energia . Ya un profesional en el Haka!
Tristan your papa must be extremely proud of you young man, what a warrior you are. Wishing you happiness and good fortune.
He's got it already at such a young age🥰
"Ka pu te ruha ka hao te rangatahi". There are so many positives here for us all in Aotearoa. Kids engaging positively with adults is just one. Mauri ora.
This is so moving, passing down the culture and the roots of a very dignified and enlightened people.
Enough to make a grown man cry
I love how the guy with the yellow on his jacket looked down to see the boy following along and just broke out with a huge grin before trying to recompose himself lol

I love his little foot stamp
Man I love this haka
Bless this sweet soul x
Amazing to see a little boy perform this. Whoever teaching him doing good job. He will carry it on.
This boy is truly a warior he's earned his spot at the dinner table
Love seeing the Haka, pulls at the very heart strings of my humanity.
Something has just come to mind though,
these fellows probably do not snore at all when they sleep, even though a lot of them are a little on the large side.
The very exercise they're doing by all the actions they take in the haka, i.e.:
Tongue manipulations,
Throat movement,
Mouth manipulations when they call out the Haka,
Stance,
Breathing bursts,
Warrior stance,
Arm movements,
All movements are performed with zest and muscle thrust while burst breathing,
deep inhalation ... burst exinhalation to the limit,
Any movement one observes during the Haka attributes to exercising post that we in normal exercise do not use.
The only thing that feccs it up, is a modern western diet, (old European diets and ways not included).
Growing, eating and actioning a traditional diet with the exercise that performs it all into being, even in the tiniest of spaces, would change things health-wise for this beautiful warrior people.
The Haka though, is from something far deeper. I hope more people would realise that Haka's are a sharing from the heart, an expression of culture and time, not a performance.
It makes all the difference.
That was moving, stirring, and adorable.
🙏 this is life we're supposed to live.
Lil man doin it. Love it an preyers to all who dislike this. May you find peace
I'm so proud of this little boy❤❤❤❤
Amazing!! I love watchingthem!! 🇬🇷
Wow, little guy knows his stuff
So little, so much passion!
I can watch this video all day ! Little angle who can do it just perfectly! And the father and the uncle I presume are doing good job with watching him ...cute situation..because it's tradition and I'm sure that the elders are doing good things with this tiny and cute little angle 💕
This gave me goosebumps. Go on litte warrior🥰🥰
I am so proud of this boy!!!! Congratulations!!!
In nz you are born with a rugby ball and at 3 months most babies can recite a full haka already, just a joke but its truly a magnificent culture they have.
wow! The little one is amazing! Your Haka has a meaning and thanks to the little one, it will go on!
I have seen NZ/Maori women performing the HAKA. Guys.... YOUR WOMEN COULD END THE WAR IN #UKRAINE ! Send a couple of thousand NZ women over and perform the HAKA on the russians , they would run back home to momma screaming. You are A FORCE ! Bless you gals and guys! We are in this together.
Ese niño me llena de orgullo
Awww baby boy knew what he was doing bless him
in that moment, he wasn't no baby but a warrior spirit to be sure.
Much respect to your culture. That precious little boy is so cute! I loved this.

That’s so awesome. They look like true warriors. It’d be cool to see a group of the little dudes performing the Haka cause that kid was intense about it. 😂👍
Little man is beyond adorable 😊❤
The way this strong todler looks to his/father male role model is a wonderful sight on top of the emotion that he is being allowed to express. AMAZING MALE Energy here and healthy. We should all take a page from you book and we would be better for it.
