That dude right of centre has got some fast twitch going on. Left of center is right out of apocalypto. Centre dude is the anchor. Black shirt steadies the ship. This is the best haka I've ever seen. Primal stuff.

I have had the pleasure of watching a lot of ballet. It requires an athleticism that many people don’t realize as well as perfect timing, control, placement, grace and unity. I see all of that in haka with the exception of grace. It is replaced with fierceness and precision. It is every bit as beautiful as ballet and that is a huge compliment on my part! I can imagine that it takes years to master this level of expertise. I still have a lot to learn about it.

We know about your biggest gang MS-13 sadly in NZ maori culture is mainly in schools or group performers. Gangs has taken over the streets, slowly killing off younger Maori generations to keep our culture alive. Mongrel mob & Black power have taken over, thankful there are still thousands of kids in schools keeping our culture alive, 50 to 100 of those thousands would grow up and keep the tradtion going which is good enough for me 👌

90% of the pakeha people in NZ still despise Maori and call them useless dumb criminals. just look at how we are portrayed on the NZ news. besides athletes the only times you will see Maori on the news is when the narrative of them all being drunk dangerous criminals is being pushed. usually with video evidence of indiduals having fights outside of a shopping center.
While keeping Maori people poor by only allowing them access to jobs like warehousing or laboring and at a far distance. the good white people arent much liked by their own ethnic groups

The warrior who is right of center (our right) is also fantastic. (They ALL are but I have particularly focused on them so far!). I hope I can find out what each of the movements and gestures mean. (For example, the tongue stuck extremely out indicates that their mouths are watering and they hunger for your flesh! Good to know!).
I’ve only seen one video that translates what is being conveyed. This ritual goes much faster than the others I’ve seen so I guess they couldn’t keep up with the translation on screen.

Yeah. All the jungle dancing and sticking out their tongues didn't help them much against the British Pattern Enfield 1853.

@@toroscosmicos9889 well it did. They resisted in open war for around 30 years. When you consider the population size of Maori it’s remarkable.

@@toroscosmicos9889 the British had 10x as many people, and they didn’t win, they made a treaty with us, but they lied and betrayed us to steal our land, that is also what this haka is about!
