The contrast of the men doing the ancient Haka with ties and in suit shirts makes it even more impressive. It shows that this tradition will outlast time and space and as long as these people honor the traditions of their ancestors, their ancestors will never die. They are alive in every movement of these men.

Despite the fact that it's such a raw display of emotion and intensity .. In this context it is an inexplicably high honor to have haka tautoko performed for you (a haka of support). Its associated with love, respect, support and well wishes. It does speak to people on a very primal level so those goosebumps, emotions and feelings you're experiencing are a very normal reaction. Also you dont often see people connect on this level anymore so it can be overwhelming but in a good way.

As a kiwi im so proud to hear a haka & I'm always drawn to it no matter where I am. I will watch it & won't move until it completed. This is part of my history & I'm proud of it.

Amazing and powerful. I wish we could see the bride's Kurdish dance with her mother. Thank you for sharing.

I always love it when I see people remember their roots. We Africans are traditional people and I always admire others foreigners that still know and identify with their tradition. It is a true identity of who we are, its nature is history of thousands of years past still abiding in our ways and livelihood. Bless all tribes on the face of the earth🙂

I love to see how that kid perfoms the Haka with so much passion. It shows how proud he is of his heritage ❤️❤️❤️
