let me start with thanking you for being a great inspiration, I really like it, but imho it needs a little green to make the oranges and purples a secondary triad.(i cant help it I have a color wheel in my brain)
@@CasualCollisions Can you suggest me how my white shirt could absorb colors better? Do you use a particular material or do you prepare it before putting color on it?
I can see a subtle smiley in the centre of the shirt, absolutely love this design. After watching so many of your videos throughout lockdown, I've finally got some Procion dyes and soda Ash to try a couple of your ice dye patterns myself. Thank you so much ❤
Thanks for posting this design…love it! I made one like this using mostly the same colors, except deep yellow instead of banana, oxblood instead of fuchsia, and Power berry + raven in the last section. A friend said “stunning” when she saw it, but she did not see your version which I think is better because of the fuchsia, and your grape/amethyst section pops more. I will try again once the FedEx guy brings the fuchsia 😉
Love 😍 The movement is superb, something to aspire to and a design that’s going on my ‘try’ list, thank you. Still my favourite tie dye teacher and I love that you also have a gobby dog. I do too 😁
The gutter idea is brilliant!! How does it not slip down and create a pool of brown paint at the bottom? Also, I didn't notice you turning it over to make sure the colors went all the way through...I can't wait to do this for my grandchildren!!
Do you think that the on-ice dyes did a lot? Seems like most of the color came from the on-shirt/under-ice application. Great result very bright and happy. I love your stuff I tried a twist on your incline twists.
Really love this one - I'm just surprised that there weren't really any white lines from the sinew - it looked like you pulled it really tightly - - it's still a beautiful shirt!!!
I really like it, gorgeous!!!! Doggo sure had something to say!!! Made me lol!!! Absolutely appreciate your videos and tutorials, so thank you so much for sharing your creative experience and talent with us!!! ❤👏🌞👏❤
You never disappoint! I have only done layers of dye because I didn’t get enough saturation; THIS is pure genius! I’m afraid, however, I’m not familiar with “Crappy Black.” 🧐
@@CasualCollisions Oh my gosh! It’s a real color name?!? I thought you were just being clever and funny! Wow! I’m fairly new to the game; hence, my unfamiliarity with some of the older names.
What are probably the best basic colors i can buy to make other colors? I can only afford mabe 4 to 6 colors..what would you suggest? Thanks! You are awesome
You can, but you get softer results, and without the neat color separation. Then again, the colors used here didn't seem to separate a lot. If you have the option to use fairly concentrated liquid colors, I would try that in order to not end up with pastels.
You can; but, as Ilex said, the results are not the same. Ice dyeing allows the component colors of the dye to split out at a different rate than each other versus liquid dyeing over ice where you're simply creating less saturated/pastel colors. There will still be some "incline bleed"; but, it's a softer result.
Yes. "Kinda Crappy Black" was a specific color that Grateful Dyes had available for a few months. They sell "odd" colors from time-to-time - probably due mixing errors or new color tests.
This is one of the coolest shirts you have made in a while. I really like it
I love this one
Dang ! That is Gorgeous !!!
Your the mad scientist of tie dying.. you come up with some amazing ideas love it. Keep up the great videos!! Much appreciated!!

You don’t need to comment more on perfection! Love it!
I don’t see how anyone could thumbs down this. It’s so beautiful! Thank you.
Some people are assholes... :)

Love it! I like to try combinations of dye under ice/over ice - - it's great that you never really know what it's going to look like!
I have up on ice during…but this makes me want to try again! 💜 AWESOME!!💜
I very much like this one!! Intense color concentration, good distribution of flow
Beautiful! Love the way the colors all blend. I love watching your videos. Keep up the great work.
Nice! I thought I was good with the basic colors but now I'm thinking I might need more hues!
Looks awesome.
Love the color selection, that came out terrific! Like the over under idea with complimentary colors.
That shirt is totally gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!!❣️
Great Shirt! Love the pattern and colors.

I love it! Ive been wanting to do an incline, this one will be my inspo! Thank you for what you do for the art of dye! 🙏🏻

Super nice! Interesting technique as well. WIll have to give it a go.

Thank you for this tutorial-mine turned out awesome!!
Great Art🥰! Great technique 🙃👀 Thanks for sharing, I!m late to the party but it looks like fun!!🧠
Beautiful!
Love this one!!
Hiya-curious about the places where powder applied directly vs over the ice. I am struggling to see this in the finished product. Thanks :)
Here's a video that shows the difference between the dye being placed under the ice versus over the ice.
Buenas tardes! Por favor hermano ! Dígame qué marca de pigmentos u tintas utiliza! Gracias!

Question, why did u have to use sinew if u were imclining when the dyes won't be running thru it then?
love it! thanks :)
Could you try an included spiral?
I'm curious to know how it would work... if it works at all lol
What do you mean by "included spiral"?
@@CasualCollisions oops!
*inclined spiral with the pie pieces instead of straight lines
spellcheck kicked in lol
If i just wasn't so damn lazy I would try the ice dye. Actually it's the intricate pleating that's not my specialty. Beautiful shirt.🤗🤗
I ice dye *because* I'm lazy... I loathe making up liquid dye.
@@CasualCollisions . Totally agree, i just did my first ice dye and i like not having to mix the dye
So cool!!
Love it!
Can you wash multiple freshly dyed shirts together in the washing machine or will the colors bleed? Thanks love your videos.
Yes, you can. I try not to wash more than 10 at a time, though.
@@CasualCollisions Thank you for the response! Love you
This turned out beautiful . The barking dog sounds like a toy . I was curious what is the purpose of the incline ?
The incline is to produce the "rays".

Ps how does sinuew, kite string and rubber bands affect the process when tying it off?
Whoa!!! Cool!
Magic!!!
Amazing!
Can u do this with liquid dye? I don't have any of the powder dye & can u use the ice with liquid dye??
