Be a friend. You don't need money:
Just a disposition sunny;
Just the wish to help another
Get along some way or other;
Just a kindly hand extended
Out to one who's unbefriended;
Just the will to give or lend,
This will make you someone's friend.
Be a friend. You don't need glory.
Friendship is a simple story.
Pass by trifling errors blindly,
Gaze on honest effort kindly,
Cheer the youth who's bravely trying,
Pity him who's sadly sighing;
Just a little labor spend
On the duties of a friend.
Be a friend. The pay is bigger
(Though not written by a figure)
Than is earned by people clever
In what's merely self-endeavor.
You'll have friends instead of neighbors
For the profits of your labors;
You'll be richer in the end
Than a prince, if you're a friend.

It's impossible to get away from the judgmental paparazzi ..it is a nice poem I got a few friends that write all I know is I tried to be a friend .I tired of proving that and people don't respect honesty any more and you tell me one person thst and hubs are great at it. It's called reality . In my book we speak up we speak direct we say sorry in life where it matter s . And omg I done explsining to EVERYONE . People thst live in glass should not throw stone period ..Love endure s and I tire of enduring everyone crap .I Said I was Sorry .and i said it in many letter s Direct ..thing git mean when wounded didn't...people wont play fair love them any way And everyone a judge

Be a friend everyone needs to have good friends. Someone who one can trust communication always is a plus. To have someone to talk and listen too and to be sincere and honest with you. A person who will always be there when life seems so unfair. To support you and your goals til the end now that is what I feel is a friend.
To make a good friend and to be a good one are tasks, equally hard. Be a friend to the world, and be a friend to yourself.♥️

I always enjoyed poetry, but until I started, to write myself, I don't think I truly been able to appreciate the fine writings like this and how difficult it can be to write something worth while. Also very beautiful read, excellent work by Narrator, he truly managed to bring the poem to life.

Passion friendship then love is one and plenty of many highly powerful qoutes that you will ever come a pond.
This poem is bittersweet. Tonight, I conversed with my sister, being there as an older brother. I helped her contend with past pains and future uncertainties, allowing her to vent and validating her frustrations. I listened without judgement, attentive. It ended with a long hug and tears shed.
Then, the conversation turned.
I don't remember the exact question, or how it flipped from me giving support to me getting support. Still, beyond all belief, I got support. We explored the way I give more often than I get. We explored how people are there when crises emerge and when I am close to breaking from fatigue, helping others. We also talked about how quickly they disappear the moment the storm quiets. When I am able to stand again and help others, to be normal, they vanish, my friend and family.
Now, to their credit, this is not always so, but that is a very new thing. When you spend most of your life learning that no cares enough to check-in without needing to be convinced to do so... or when you're taught through a million let-downs that what you care about isn't exciting or easy enough to have some one pay attention... you learn to draw attention to yourself. As a child that was acting out, but as an adult, that is helping others. So, kind and reliable and trustworthy. Either way, it is always a manner of getting attention, even if not intentionally. It is a way to convince people that you're worth caring about.
You learn to convince them because they won't do it otherwise. I just got a lot better at doing it.
This is an odd place for a confession like this. I'll likely transcribe the passage, or at least the heart of it, into a personal journal by hand. Yet, there is catharsis. To tell someone, you just want them to care enough to take a genuine interest in you. To be able to, in painstakingly visceral, emotional, terms express how you don't exist to others beyond your ability to convince them to pay attention to you. That is release. More than that, it is wisdom. Now I know. What was buried was unearthed. Now, I face one question that only I can answer:
What am I going to do about it?

We took this in fourth grade and this is the only poem I still remember from school. A little weird hearing it being read seriously we used to sing it and make hand gestures

In life, There are different seeds, which take different period to germinate, grow, shot out and thrive. So, is the good deed you are giving to the world. It might take time, it might delay but it will surely come to you looking beautiful.
To offer yourself to someone for smiles,
To share someone's grief,
To have love in your heart for someone,
This is what life is all about.
Granted, we are poor, by the standard of our pockets.
Even so, we are rich at heart.
