    The foam looks so much neater and cleaner than the foils! I usually use papers, but I really have been wanting to try these! I like that they let the color breathe, and I like how wide they are! The papers are only like 4" wide. I seriously love your videos, I wish you had a new one EVERY day! Because I can tell that you really love doing this for your subscribers, and that makes watching you even more enjoyable!!

    I love how you take your time and how you want to be perfect with what you do. When I get me hair done or cut I am constantly looking and paying attention to what they are doing because usually they do it in a hurry or they or rushed which they have other clients. But I just love how you take you time to make your clients hair perfect that is what I love in a hairstylist like you!!!!!!

    Only one question, how does mixing a 40 and 10 make 50?! You technically made a 20. Because when you add two developers together it dilutes the higher percentage one level down. So when you mixed the 40 with a 10 it makes a 30. And on top of that you added Olaplex which drops it one level to a 20. Does that make sense?! But all in all I LOVE these videos, you are very talented and smart about hair and all that entails!

    • @ThatBlondeGirlMandie
      @ThatBlondeGirlMandie  9 лет назад +4

      Nathen Arnce YES, YES, YES!! I know. That whole ordeal was the result of a very long day haha. Thank you for looking out for me :) You are the sweetest!

    • @nathenarnce363
      @nathenarnce363 9 лет назад

      ThatBlondeGirl Mandie No problem! :P I had a client that was like a level -1, blacker than black, in which she needed her roots retouched and I started off with a 20 and diluted it with a 10 and it was a NIGHTMARE but little to no damage. So I then took a 50Vol and diluted it with a 30 and it took less than an hour to get to a level 9-10 with NO orange! I have been doing hair for 10 going on 11 years, and I have never seen anyone who does color/highlights very similar to me until I came across your channel! You have a great eye for color and style! I love watching your videos. You are very informative but not overbearing with detail!

      ThatBlondeGirl Mandie Awe you are too sweet! I am glad that I can make your day! Life is full of adventures that make you the person you are. The only way to learn and grow is to make mistakes and accomplishments that you can do just that. Someone once told me that in life, everyone is fighting their own unique war. As hair stylist's you have to look out for one another so you can make each other better not just stylist' but as people! I am so glad that I came across someone who knows what they are doing and can share their journey with such positiveness!

    Hi Mandie! I just purchased embee meche about two weeks ago and I am currently waiting for it to come in. There are not many videos of it being used so I was happy to see it in use and your glowing review of the product. As the product is reusable I would be interested to see a quick video on the best way to clean and care for your embee meche. I love your channel and enjoy watching how other stylists approach the scenarios that we see in the salon everyday. There is a million different ways to do one thing and that is what I love about our industry. Thanks for keeping it interesting!

    I LOVE your Videos mandy!! And I was just about to say the same thing the last comment said, I was always taught mixing devoper dilutes it, so 40 +10= 30, 10+20=15, and so on.... but great job on her hair looked pretty!! I look forward to watching your videos every time !!! ;)

    Hi mandie .. Love all your works!! Only one question about when you using olaplex with lightener .. If you use 30vol with olaplex , so it will dilute the developers to 20vol . So the strength of lightener working on hair still consider as 30vol ? ! So olaplex will keep lightener high strength less damage ? Thanks

    • @ThatBlondeGirlMandie
      @ThatBlondeGirlMandie  9 лет назад

      Stephen C Hey! So yes olaplex dilutes.. for an example you us 40vol it will dilute down to 30vol, 30 down to 20 20 down to 10.. It will not be a 30 if you add a 30.. hope that helps!

  • @nathenarnce363
    @nathenarnce363 9 лет назад

    You can also dilute any developer with a 1:1 ratio of distilled water :) I love the results of her hair very natural and pretty :)

    Hey I love your videos girl! But just so you know 40vol developer plus 10vol developer does not equal 50vol. It actually equals 30vol. When you add 10vol to 40vol it actually dilutes it. Just thought you'd now! (:

    i love your videos, not too keen on the ways you degrade other stylists in some way to make yourself look better. appreciate that every stylist has different techniques which work for them, spread the love, keep doing your good work without cutting down others. not intended as an insult but constructive criticism from a viewer.

    You're very sweet and fun to watch but (and please don't take this the wrong way) you didn't make a 50 volume. You actually made the developer weaker by adding the 10 vol, and weaker still by adding the Olaplex. If you have 2 different developers, add them together then divide by 2 and you'll get the result. Xo

      New subbie!!! Yes that is correct. 40+10(if it's equal parts would be 25vol so the Olaplex actually made it 15vol. I LOVE the way you do hair and Olaplex seems like a miracle worker
