    "Be weary of the sound of one hand clapping." Dude is comparing a headset he has in hand, to a headset he's never used. Sounds like a biased comparison if every I heard of one.

      Well.. all my comparison points are based on features and specification. Not user interface! Plus, if you check my channel, I am totally Apple, right from iPhone OG .. so it was hard for me to make this video .. but what to do, I was hoping for a more affordable version .. if Apple would have released one in the 500 to 700$ price range .. it would have been a different story altogether .. think it will probably take at least 1 or 2 more years for Apple to come up with an affordable Vision headset!

      @@RaavMedia Your experience with other Apple products does not mean you understand VP. Also, your price point comment is meaningless. If Apple released a headset in the $500 to $700 range, it wouldn't accomplish their objectives. What makes Apple products Apple products is that they have an idea of what they're aiming at in order to make a fleshed out experience, and they don't under shoot that. They didn't release the VP at $3.5k because they wanted to come in at that price. They released at that price because that was the price required in order to deliver their minimum targeted feature set (or what Apple considered to be a "minimum viable product"). If you don't deliver the minimum desirable experience, than you haven't delivered anything of note. It's better to come in expensive, but correct. Rather than cheap and wrong. You think the price is a miss because you have no idea what Apple is aiming to achieve with this headset.
      Personally I think it will take Apple much longer than one or two years for them to deliver an affordable version of the VP. They probably aren't even going to update the headset at all in the next three to five years.

    I was looking forward to a non-biased comparison, but what I got was a guide for a meta product with no comparison… don’t waste your time unless you want to have a meta guide…

    have you tried Vision Pro?

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  5 месяцев назад +1

      Nope, I haven’t tried but all of this is based on the specification. I even mention in video that apples interface is next level .. also all points which I mention are comparing features and price rather than user interface!

      He is not speaking about the trying the Vision pro, what he explains in the WHOLE video is the factual advantages (that you dont need to try) for the Q3. Even if the Vision Pro is BETTER (to some extent, but its NOT magic, its far from that) its still lacking stuff like mentioned here.

      Vision Pro is heavier, doesn’t work with steam VR, has a narrower FOV, lower frame rate, and costs 7x as much. I’m sorry but that’s unacceptable

  • @engmatz

    to movies Apple better
    to games q3 better

    • @TRX25EX
      @TRX25EX 5 месяцев назад +3

      Yes, although movies the Q3 is decent and have more apps, but Vision Pro will still be superior however not 7 times superior as price indicates, more like 20-30% better experience, as Quest 3 hit diminishing returns

    • @freeman038
      @freeman038 5 месяцев назад +2

      It really depends on how high definition movie content providers would like their movies to be streamed. If they limit that to HD or 1080p, you cannot see much difference between Q3 and AVP. Only 4K streaming might make some difference, but then other factors like WiFi speed play in.

    • @TRX25EX
      @TRX25EX 5 месяцев назад +3

      @@freeman038 even 4K won't show much as Quest 3 already have the pixels to make use of that + Qualcomm upscaling so far is the best in the business.....
      I tried XR-4 which have more pixels than AVP by a respectable margin, it taught me that beyond Quest 3 we hit diminishing returns in clarity, the same I felt with my Pimax Crystal and Bigscreen Beyond when comparing to my Quest 3.... In 2D contents specially it's really not that big of a difference
      The problem is AVP focused on 2D content, it doesn't have much VR content, so what exactly makes it worth the 7 times the price? Basically you paying for the development cost of Vision OS not for the hardware cost of AVP like other brands charging you on

    • @biror1135
      @biror1135 5 месяцев назад +1

      The only difference is a that in the vision pro has eye tracking and slightly better screen. On the meta you can play games, piano, cook a meal, do fitness, hand tracking without controller and with controller, digital keyboard, Vr Pc and console games, switch reality, edit videos and pictures, capture videos and pictures, mixed reality cinema, voice commands, 120 hz refresh rate, use web browser, play mixed reality games, watch mixed reality movies and use a tons of apps. Oh btw it's 500$ and your lame overpriced vision pro is 3000-4000$

      The best VR experience for me is playing Microsoft Flight Simulator in PCVR . It’s one of the best VR use cases you can think up.
      Unfortunately Apple Vision Pro users can never enjoy anything like that. The best ever flight simulator that can run on personal computers is simply outside Apple ecosystem.

    The surprising but successful release of Meta Quest 3 just months before Apple Vision Pro was really a bad luck for Apple.
    Because Quest 3 is good enough in pass through (some reviewer said it’s 70% good while Apple Vision Pro was 80%), suddenly Apple Vision Pro’s biggest and maybe the only use case - AR/MR has a serious competitor who is not only much much cheaper, but also has much more apps. If only Quest 2 exists, even I would envy Vision Pro users’ colourful AR/MR environment, but now with Quest 3, I would even hesitate to exchange my Quest 3 for Apple Vision Pro (unless I intend to resell it).
    In all, Apple Vision Pro is doomed to fail when Quest 3 is already a decent AR/VR device.

    • @TRX25EX
      @TRX25EX 5 месяцев назад +2

      Exactly..... Vision Pro was bound to be released at least a year before Quest 3, this will make it make sense.... However it was hit by delays in which Quest 3 killed it before it was released even....
      They don't want to even disclose the FOV, and that WiFi 6 and M2 over M3 shows how much delays Vision Pro had....
      Quest 3 does more than Vision Pro does while costing 7 times less

    • @RaavMedia
      @RaavMedia  5 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely.. being in with Apple ecosystem .. I thought I’d miss out if I get the Quest 3 .. but now, after seeing all the Vision Pro can do and how much it costs .. the Quest 3 is really the best option if you want to buy a VR headset today. Plus Amazon in the UK are already selling this for reduced cost!

      Quest 3 is a toy. VisionPro🥽 is not. Watch the Questria presentation, 98% of the presentation was games. Watch Apple‘s presentation 99% of that presentation was work and lifestyle stuff.
      So you don’t have to believe me believe Zuckerberg. These are two totally different companies with two totally different products.
      I have the bait and switch quest 3. If you record a video and share it, what you see in the shared video is not what’s actually shown through the headset. But then again, you get what you pay for.

    • @TRX25EX

      @@DatDude923 even Vision Pro is the same lol, it records from left camera only like Quest 3.. so what's your point?
      If you talking about spatial video then Quest 3 can do it also, but where you gonna play that other than VR headset?
