Life of TVS engines are better than bajaj engines Bajaj engines produce lot of heat when compared to other brand engines yamaha and honda produce better engines

While riding on traffic or city area whenever i shift up the gear the bike engine demands to shift down and when i shift down it demands to shift up I think iam not clarifying the problem correctly ..it feels that gear is high but shifts down it feels to shift up. Is it because of clutch plate. ?

Hi Rahul, You mean using the clutch at half engagement? If yes, then avoid the use of clutch at half engagement. The clutch lever should be either fully pressed or released during any operation.
Hi +Debasish Gourav, I found the stock suspension setup to have a good balance of jounce & rebound when travelling at both smooth highways & bad roads. Softer setup might be required if you are regular on bad roads.

Many RTR owners have report this when the bike was new but a simple clutch lever free play adjustment during the service can solve this. Manufacturers recommend 10-20mm clutch lever free play for this. A little bit of movement is natural, nothing alarming. Ride safe.

Hi Azad, Usually it's not recommended to start the motorcycle in gear even by applying clutch (mentioned in owners manual). Regard your issue, it seems to be either the clutch adjustment or the wire which is disconnects the ignition when clutch is not pulled. Have you showed this problem to the TVS service?

Hi Ankit, I would suggest you better adjust the clutch according to the clutch lever play. Adjusting on the basis of thread won't help as it can vary on motorcycles.
My apache 200 4v has coverd 7500 km and its clutch plate has worn out..! Kya yea sahi hae? Ak clutch plate generaly kitna km tk good situation mae rhta hae.?

Hi Ankit, I would suggest you better adjust the clutch according to the clutch lever play. Adjusting on the basis of thread won't help as it can vary on motorcycles.
