- How to keep engine clean? Is flushing the engine safe? After how many km should engine flushing be done? Disadvantages of engine flushing? How to flush an engine? Engine flush quantity?Which is the best engine flush? and a lot more questions which we try to answer in this video.
This video is a basic tutorial on how to flush an engine. Here we have used the Dominar 400 and the same process is applicable to the most of the motorcycle engines from TVS, BAJAJ, HONDA, SUZUKI, HERO etc for flushing.
This time we have changed the engine oil on the Dominar 400 and have switched to Liqui Moly street race 10w50 grade fully synthetic engine oil.

I'd say treat the flushing with care as it might clog your oil galleries with deposits. In that case more harm done than good. Basis of a good engine life consists of frequent oil change interval, authentic oil and oil filter plus fuel treatment as it also acts as a solvent inside the combustion chamber.
Feeling happy...
Show your face infront of camera ,it was an good communication ....
Nice video very finely explained
Great Video! Thanks for sharing
Nice and very informative video
Hi Pritish,
Happy to know that you liked the video 😊
@@thesportztourer yes brother I liked all your vedio brother. Very informative video. I can't find this type of informative vedio. I really enjoyed your all vedio. It is really very helpfulI to me. Iam planning to purchase TVS Apache 200 4v non-abs model. Is there any issue of non-abs model. I am very tight budget. I can't afford abs model.
Informative,!! I'm going to try the flush liquid on my Fazer which has clocked 25k.
Did u used engine flush ?? How was the experience ?
The best bikes information channel. Thanks a lot
Your videos are awesome. Point to point information. No bakwas like other moto bloggers. I wish you a good luck. One more thing i want to add is that i am watching you tube more than 20 months on daily basis and subscribed lots of channels in different category but this my one of few comment ever on any video.
Great video, your DIYs are on point and very helpful. I own a fzs v2 and ride it very less approx 1200-1500kms a year. The oil change interval recommended by manufacturer is around 2500-3000km so I change my engine oil at an interval of 1.5-2 years but I always keep an eye that it does not get low. Does engine oil degrade over time or is it ok to just change at manufacturer recommended kms irrespective of time.
Times also matter.....
Hi Rajdip,
For a low running engine change the oil every 1 year 👍
Use mineral oil instead
The most satisfying for a biker is the old oil coming of the bike and I always love to change to oil all by myself thank you bro I always love your vedios please give some tips how to maintain the milage of the bike and also if you have any scooter with you please make a separate vedios for scooters too it will be helpful
Thanks a lot Raheel for the appreciation and suggestions, your points are noted 👍
P.S: I can totally related on the oil change satisfaction part 😊
@@thesportztoureruse karna chaiye ?engine flush
Thanks for the information as usually good job👍
Glad to know you liked it and found the video informative 😊
Great tutorial and editing
Should we do an engine flush for a new bike, I mean the 1st break in service of the bike?
Hi Karteek,
Not required, a brand new engine will have no sludge deposits with negligible presence of carbon. A regular oil change (with oil filter, if present) will be fine.
@@thesportztourer Bro mujhe english bolni aati nahi hai zyada but ek cheez zarur pushna chahunga ki kitne kms or Time par engine flush krnachahiye
Karteek Varma no! 50 thousand miles/kilometers only and not necessary at all if synthetic oils are used!
Your speech tone is pleasant to listen.🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much for the compliment! You made my day 😊
Very helpful video bro..liked your way of explaining with very decent English
Help full vedio ♥️ thanks bro
Engine flush is not required until you finish 50k kilometre or if the bike is serviced on time
True, if using fully synthetic oil and drained at right interval.
@@thesportztourer 🤗
How about 4 year old bike with 35k km and used mineral oil everytime but timely changed?
@@abhashdc8071 Engine flush is necessary because engine oils are based on petroleum hydrocarbons which decompose and form new compound under heat and pressure which should be removed to increase engine efficiency
Sir im having r15 v2.. 3 yrs old bike but kms 16k only has done... Need to put flush or not? .. And motul 300v and liqu moly which is best sir
Old technique is to put 50 to 100 ml of petrol in engine and run it for 5 minutes remove oil your done still works well
never do that. petrol doesnt have lube. it'll cause wear and tear
Dangerous bro
Great simple and straight video, no dragging in any scene. Loved it. I have a question. I have a Suzuki Zeus from 2007 whose engine was rebuilt in 2015. Should I flush the engine or not? I don't plan on getting it rebuilt. But I do want to change the oil that's why I wanna know.
Awesome video brother, much informative... Keep going... 👍👍👍
Thanks a lot for valuing the video. I am glad to know that you found it informative 😊
How is Liqui Moly over Motul 300v.
I have the same question too
Motul 300v is always better than any full synthetic oil..
The oil base is different on both these oils so a detailed comparison will be interesting, what say?
After using the 300V 10W-40 on the RTR 200 (I hope you have seen the Rajasthan ride series) we were tempted to try the 300V 15W-50 on the Dominar but we were concerned about changing the winter grade. My experience with Liqui Moly on my car was great so thought of giving it a try and the most important it was available in 10W50 fully synthetic grade so went for it (expensive than the 300V). For now the experience is good if not better then at least it's on par with the 7100 10W50, let's see how it performs on long term 😊
@@thesportztourer thanks for your insight
The Sportztourer Will there be desired result, if Liqui Moly engine flush and fuel shooters used with 300v, a bit sceptical as im about to replace my bikes oil.
flushing engines is stupid.
use good oil and change it on time with the filter. it's that simple.
this is just snake oil
Not really, even if you use good quality oil the engine oil does break down and does form sludge, the issues do happen even with best oil.
Anti slude does indeed work, but yes this is no substitute for changing oil on time and using good filters.
This is just an add on maintenance thing for best results, it's not a thing you have to do during every oil change but you can do it once in 10 or 20 k kms
@@hiteshadhikari in the US these are concidered snake oil. You're better off changing the oil on time and using a decent filter.
@@ashishpatel350 snake oil is a different thing or concept. If something says it will magically improve your power or milegae to unbelievable extent then the item is often termed snake oil
The concept of snake oil is when people think basic additive or item will transform their vehicle beyond anything
@@ashishpatel350 like a good synthetic engine oil will improve your vehicle performance by 5-10% over original/mineral oil is still a thing that happens but if someone says that put this oil and all your issues will be solved, it will repair your broken engine and like imporve performance and make it double etc thing then that product is termed snake oil
@@hiteshadhikari all good oils have anti sludge additives. They are called detergents they dissolve any sludge and suspend them in the oil.
Like I said these are snake oil. If you have sludge in your engine it's due to not changing the oil on time. Which ussually means you have bigger problems with engine.
Very Impressive and helpful topic. Great job bro go a head. ,😊☺️👍👍
Thanks a ton Swarup for the wishes 😊
Hi mate, excellent video with great commentary.
Looking forward to checking your other videos.
Thanks.
Its a joy to know that you liked it! Welcome to the channel 😊
No need to use any of this shit .. its actually hurt engine..
If it is not done it will hurt ur bike's engine LOL
You are right. Present engine oils come with cleaning agents present inside them. So it cleans the engine continuously.
If we use flush it can damage the bearings.
True
If one maintains the bike, replaces oil regularly then this shit is not even required. these are all marketing tactics to drain money!
No its not for new vehicles. For old vehicles might hurt because all the sludge and gunk which is preventing the oil to leak might break down with the engine flush. And your old vehicle will come out a white smoke from oil leak. And also depends on the engine flush you use. If you use cheap product of course it will hurt your engine.
Perfect video brother

@The Sportztourer , thanks for all the videos. Is cloudtail delivering original lubes ordered from amazon? can you please make a video on " how is your experience on buying engine oils, flush, additives etc. from amazon or any other website you use regularly?"
Hi Himalay,
Most of the products you see on this channel are purchased from Amazon. My experience with Cloudtail has been good and I try to leave the purchase links in the description. I have confirmed with Motul on Instagram that Amazon is their authorized reseller for 7100 and 300V (I believe for other oils as well).

I am changing oil for every 3000 km. Using liquid gun mineral oil (those days they have only mineral oil), now switched to semi synthetic oil liquid gun as company prescribed.
