I OPENED MY CARBURETOR AFTER USING LIQUI MOLY FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER TVS APACHE RTR 200 CARB CLEANING

- Fuel system cleaners are suppose to keep the carburetor and fuel injector clean. This time I decided to use the Liqui Moly fuel system cleaner on my TVS Apache RTR 200 which was facing some problem due to choked carburetor jet. After using the fuel system cleaner I decided to open the carburetor and check if these additives actually do what they claim. I also went ahead and tested the additive for any damage done to rubber parts and fuel lines.

@@SidOfRivia yes brother it helped. Even last week i used that additive on my R15 v3 BS6, literally i feel noticable difference on throttle response and surprisingly i m getting better milleage than before.
Yes, it works very good for car and bikes ... I have tried with both. My car was not starting... Replaced plugs, ignition wires and ignition coil. Then used Molly . Also used throttle body cleaner. There was loads of carbon ...

Yes go for it.Mene apache rtr 160 pr use kiya.wow excellent performance.mera carburettor overflow hua tha due to blocking.After adding this product all my problems are gone

After watching your video i decided to buy for my 10 year old scooty and also for my 1 year old dominar 400 i hope it do wonders..🙏.. although i am not facing any issue on both of my vehicles but precaution is better..

@@Madhukumar-hn4zl i tried on my scooty i felt smoothness after 50Km of riding but on Dominar as it had barely ran 10K i didn't feel any difference. Its good if you use after every 8-10K KM it keeps injector and throttle body valves clean

Instead of 10 l petrol and 80 ml of additive,can i use 5l of petrol and 40 ml and do it twice?

Exact content, crystal clear,simple language anybody can understand, not giving importance to you without showing ur image,atleast one small photo by side if possible, because some body may use their name simultaneously,hiddenly.This shows Indian sample of intelectual service. This is cost cutting work. Many peopl doesn't know, not aware of this kind or additive help for their bike,running behind mechanics. It is just like cold in our nose ,lungs nasaltrack we come across ,clogging. With the help of some medicine we will feel cleared and relieved. Same like that our vehicle come across carbon deposits which we have to take care and clear as like our child not simply driving selfishly only filling fuel not caring at all ,some people not even they dust the vehicle except their seat shamelessly. What u r studying or working no detail ,it is not important for anyone but u r helpful to public worldwide.people having knowledge r keeping mum may be their life situation.many mechanics even if they doesn't know to daigonise, or understand the trouble they will simply take a tour dishonestly. U have explained about carburettor's cleanliness. This will clean entire track till silencer. What are the long term results? Im curious. I read that the residue left from the cleaning can cause more damage in the long run.
The additive dissolves the deposits. Residue is formed only if deposits are physically scratched, not with additive dissolution
I only use Liqui Moly in my workshop. Great product and range

@@thesportztourer We have had nothing but great reviews from customer, but after 9 years of using it we can see the results with far less breakages of engines, gearboxes and differentials.
We also add the motor oil saver and MoS2 to all oil services.
For those that can afford it we do the Ceratec treatment every 50K km. Turbo engines like the Ceratec.
How frequently we should use this addictive. Or should we use everytime we fill the tank

Not many motorcycle riders especially those who commute more everyday pay attention to detail like having a clean jet is essential for the performance to be good. I've personally seen plenty of such heavy motorcycle users who ride 50-60k kms a year complaining that the bike is old and hence the drop in performance. On the contrary a good friend of mine who owns an 18 year old TVS Victor which has run 3lac kms till date, seen 2 engine rebores and a head replacement, says his bike is as good as new and hits a top speed of 90kmph even now ! Those who are really interested on the mechanicals like The Sportztourer are the ones who extract unbelievable performance, efficiency and durability from a machine whereas others just give excuses 😁

In terms of performance and efficiently FI is the better for sure. Carburetors are easy to maintain as they can be repaired easily. In case of FI systems parts usually get replaced rather than repaired.

the same issue is there is my rtr 200 now..the engine gives hickups or sometimes feels as if petrol is going to be empty (slight jerk) ,especially in 3rd gear..but in higher rpms its normal!! what could be the issue??

hi bro, nice explaination, so i bought '3M Petrol Fuel Tank Additive' from flipkart. i was confused to use it, whether itis good or not for my bikes , one honda carbertor bike more than 1 lakh km, and fuel injector bike 10,000 km, i am feared of whether it may damage the engine on fz fi engine, so what your sugeestion on whetehr to use it on bothe bikes

In FI systems the tank capacity is measured including the reserve as there is no separate reserve knob to switch between them.
Total tank capacity. It ensures that the additive isn't diluted too much, and lose effectiveness.
Does STP full system cleaner will also perform similarly ?

Fuel system cleaner is to clean the fuel system since we are using ethanol blended petrol, it's recommended for 10k kms.

bro my Apache 160 has done 20k and it's 3 yrs old,will u recommend this additive for me , because I am confused will it harm the engine or not
I used it for my ZMR and Activa. Both did around 34k kms and I felt the difference. It won't harm your engine.
Kilometre off cource matters but the bad fule quality is bigger reason of chocking carborator. So you can use this additive if you noticing some amount of power drop.
You should have opened the card first and confirmed that there is dirt, then should have added the additive

Hi bro, I have pulsar 135 cc bike. I have started using it after about a break of 1 year and have opted for the engine oil change. Now I am facing a problem of carburettor drain pipe overflow with my bike.
A technician has suggested me the replacement of the carburettor needle.
Before opening the carburettor, I wish to try the liqui moly 4t additive shooter for the carburettor overflow problem. Pls guide!!
