When I play Arknights, I like to keep myself as blind as possible for CC and try to get as high a risk as possible without having any prior clear strategies in my head. Yii's videos had been the best for this because he never actually mentions any specific clears, just the general strategies for certain standout operators and thought processes for risk taking. Unfortunately, this CC seems to be so much of a clown fiesta that enemy pathings weren't presentable, so that's going to be fun for me to figure out.

I feel confident about this CC, I'm pretty sure I can clear risk 4
When the CC's Max Risk have a iconic stall strat you will that CC is hard. For example CC2' Weedy Liskarm stall, CC8' Blacknight sleep stall, CC9' Gladiia S3 canceling stall
Thankfully solutions other than Gladiia S3 cancelling were found for max risk -1 CC9. Juggling Gladiia cancels, fast redeploys and Blemishine activations must have been the most micro-intensive clear in Arknights history.

Ok but i love the editing, its really smooth even for a td game that panels over the whole map (obviously as it should). It slightly zooming on the ops made it looks smooth imo :)

I just cleared risk 18 with my own strat and really really huge thanks for that Viviana tip. I wouldn't have known that she was stunnable if not for your video.
And i wanna give special shout out to Lee for being an absolute champ in my clear by tanking all the Archer hits with his dodge. And since he is fast redeployable, I was able to ease the load on saria and him by alternating them. Anything beyond Risk 18 is something i cannot invest myself into due to lack of time, but the fact that I could clear this CC without Chen alter, Surtr and Ling makes me even more happy. -I hope using Nearl alter doesn't negates my efforts coz we gotta use them operators we raised right?- Thanks a lot for such a neat reference video Yii arknights.

im suprised you didnt mention blacknight and liskarm being able to put the entire map to sleep
blacknight and liskarm strat is mostly for max risking purposes. relying on slumberfoot dmg to kill the enemies take ages and not worth the time. unless ofc max risk, cuz, u know, max risk is insane territory for 0 sanity dokutah.

Because blacknight is used for max risk , chen alter is enough to deal with risk 18
i make my guides with the intention in mind to help people reach risk 18+. anyone who's going for max risk would do the proper research themselves to do the strat :)

Weird little suggestion: Lee s3 works hilariously well as bait for the archers, because most of the time he'll dodge the attack, so even though he receives corrosion, he'll stay alive for quite ling

I think this channel is one of the highest quality channels out there for understanding the game because Yii says a lot of things that are true, but counter to some of the cult like tribal knowledge that dominates online discussions. It's really frustrating to try and tell people anything that goes against the group think.
IMO the most important part of this CC is that it has the best name. Dawnseeker wooo

At 7:27, the explosion barely tickles any of those ops. I had a rude awakening trying to get risk 18 last night where candle knight with the instant cast risk essentially wiped my team instantly through nightingale S3. The only other damage affecting tags I had were the 20% hp down and the first level attack/aspd risk-I don’t understand how the damage numbers could be so different.
Getting risk 18 was way harder In cc 8 than it was in 6 or 7 (those are the only cc's I've done since I started after cc 5), but I managed to do it and I didn't have to resort to using chalter so I'm pretty proud of myself.

Hi, I just feel like SR 7 is the average skill rank that ops should be(?) I don't want it too low like SR 1 since I don't think people (generally) use ops at SR 1, and not too high with masteries as they're an expensive investment that not a lot of people will go into unless players really want 'em. So I see SR 7 as a sweet spot, basically :)
Presumably because as someone who doesn't plan ahead and or minmax you'll realistically have all your raised ops at at least SL7 but not necessarily at M3. If you didn't prepare shit for CC, then realistically, you have SL7.

I'm kinda mad that my jackass accidentally watched 777ucky's 3 Op R18 clear (Ling, Chalter, Nightingale) months ago and I can't get it out of my head now. That being said, I'll still be clearing it on my own terms for R24 and maybe do Ling runs right after
