Okay when it comes to luxury makeup, the majority of people that use it are not makeup fanatics like a lot of us. They’re either just kinda rich or older “sophisticated” ladies that have been using sponge applicators forever and work well for them. Also, in regards to Chanel… I got a sample of the le teint foundation and as much as I try to use cheaper products… I have to admit that was the nicest foundation I’ve ever used. Stayed on even through working out and an afternoon nap. Some things are just worth the money

It's nice when you actually get what you pay for. These days that isn't always the case.
Or maybe just a person who prefers better things of life. I say that speaking of a person who used to think. (In my younger years) that the more I would spend for an item the better.

Let’s all admit that this Chanel Foundation is absolutely gorgeous, and you cannot get a ‘just as better or comparable’. It is different and the price not only because of the brand. Also because of how it is made. Would I purchase it, no. I can look gorgeous with a less expensive brand. But it won’t and is not made the same as Chanel.
Everything you say is right. TBH I have started using a perfectly decent Maybelline foundation because it looks just fine and dewy and blends away the imperfections as much as I need. I'm not "a face" or influencer or model, just a regular lady going to work, going shopping, wanting to look like a together version of my sloppy self.
But if someone forced a Chanel foundation on me, you better believe I'd use the whole thing right up.

I once had this great discount code and I bought the Aqua Vitalumiere and OH MY GODDD. It was the best thing ever and there's no way I have would be ready to spend that kind of money on a monthly basis. But if I did, I would only buy Chanel foundations. They really are insanely well made.
@@TalkAsSoftAsChalk yes, insanely well but there not clean. You can smell the fragrance in the products and that’s what will deter me every time. All of the high end makeups do. I can name the ones that I have purchased, although they looked amazing. The scent was always overwhelming.

I think that they may be her natural nails or really minimal press-ons. as for the color, it is either a chrome power that is buffed or chrome polish.

I have to say, growing up my mom wore a lot of Chanel and I actually do really love some of their foundations… and lipsticks… everything else though, I would never spend my money on… I swear you have to FIGHT for pigmentation when it comes to their eyeshadows and blushes… Even if you’re going for a “natural look”
I used to use a creme to powder foundation I think it was L’Oréal translucide it was soooooo good. And the translucide foundation was bomb too. Back in the high school days hehe

I have Chanel’s Dewey foundation! I absolutely love it. It’s the only luxurious foundation I have. The high end brands I mostly use are Rare Beauty and Bare Minerals.
The translucent powder is one of their best.

I'm a makeup junkie since my late teens and I've used tons of luxury makeup. I love Givenchy, Dior, Channel, YSL, Shiseido, Armani, etc. I guess in Europe we have started using drugstore makeup just recently. IMO there are great products on both sides.

I would love to see her try the makeup forever powder foundation. I remember it was one of the first powder foundations that was really hyped and it seemed to have a similar 1 swipe full coverage kind of effect (although it is matte not sure about this one’s finish)
