Owning a small record shop I throw a lot of this stuff away. It is nice to see that some people still enjoy it. I always say there is nothing wrong with the music there just isn't the people around that enjoy it any more.

It’s definitely a niche market. And I’m happy to share my records on my hobby radio station Moody Mood Music on Live365.com

That’s a super haul. I feel like I need to take notes! There aren’t many places I know of with anywhere near that many cheap records. It makes me want to find one and go overboard.

Me either normally. It’s really awesome to go into some store that has massive amounts of cheapie crates.

Gloria Loring was married to Alan Thicke and mother of Robin Thicke. She sang the theme song to Facts of Life. She used to act on a soap opera on NBC but I can’t remember the name of it.

@@Kaiwaza there are a few goodwills in surprise, sun city west and some thirift shops in sun city west, but I can't say if they would have records or not. the goodwill on RH Johnson Rd in SCW and gw on Grand in Surprise usually have quite a few CD's but not sure on the prices... I would not want to send you way out there just for that reason. Any plans for Tucson, I like "Old Paint Record store", in the old town district of Tucson by the Tucson Museum of Art. Good Luck. Have fun!

You do know that "Realistic" is a Radio Shack house brand, right..? Usually, their stuff catered to the dad music buyer of the day, but always well recorded. (notes from a former Radio Shack employee)

@@Kaiwaza I don't recall them ever being given away as perk of buying a turntable or an audio equipment. They did work pretty well as albums to demonstrate the capabilities of the equipment though (I think the store still had to "buy" it's own copy for that purpose).

Great haul. I've been crate digging at Zia before, but I can't do more than 3 or 4 rows before my legs get tired from crouching down. Do you bring a stool with you or something? They have a lot of interesting stuff, and for $1-3 each you don't feel like you've been cheated if it's bad or boring.
