This has quickly become a staple in my house. I absolutely love it! I made your toum recipe as well and serve my shawarma with the beef, toum, french fries, and lettuce/spinach and parsley. Sooo delicious!

I love that you do so much to protect za culture. But please if making a beef shawarma there’s no toum (garlic paste) or hummus!! Hummus is a dip not a sauce!! or lettuce. It should be beef, tahini, onions, parsley, pickled turnips & tomatoes. Should not have fries. If you want to protect za culture don’t make a mockery of it. Fries & toum only goes on chicken shawarma.
