Pretty insane how we got a Super Mario RPG remake, a Paper Mario TTYD remake, and a new Mario and Luigi game in the span of a year.

When I saw the reveal, I thought, "is this what the Dead Cells developers are working on now?!" but it's not even by the same people.
It just looks similar and seems to have similar gameplay.
It's a very beautiful and artistic looking game though, which I always appreciate greatly.
I I know I'm stupid for this but at the very start when it showed a robotic top hat some deluded part of me thought it was gonna be more info on the new Layton games, but other than that the visual direction of Mio reminds me a lot of Hollow Knight and Ori and the Blind Forest, I'm excited to see more.

Most underrated game of all time, Kid Icarus Uprising is a masterpiece. Everything is fantastic. The gameplay is fast paced and dynamic, every stage is completely different and super inspired, the characters, voice acting, and writing are hilarious but sometimes incredibly emotional, and every song on the soundtrack is either a banger or perfect accompaniment to the level. Don't even get me started on the multiplayer. Light vs. Dark was such a fun online multiplayer, and despite being on the 3DS, the connection was great. But on Switch?? Oooh boy, they could make it even better. You could play the game without the janky stylus controls too since the switch has two joysticks. God. One day!!!!
Keep showing support for it and garner more of it. Seems to be working for some series.

The prime 4 music at the end is already a classic. It's definetly going on repeat for a few days
You do you I guess, but outside of being atmospheric it's not really that interesting of a composition. Just kind of simple piano with singing over it.

Oh, it looks amazing (reminds me of both Ori and Hollow Knight). It's just that this direct has a lot of great content.
Hate me for it, but it's probably because it's just another entry in the "serious/artsy/pretentious platformer" genre--I bet the protagonist will be silent, the world is like this because of some apocalypse or something, and there'll be an unnecessary amount of deep, serious lore behind it that's largely irrelevant but that the niche fandom will memorize anyway. I was thinking the same thing! The style isn't bad, but it totally lacks polish.
Maybe it was made for other consoles and they just downscaled the graphics and didn't bother making the Switch version look good

The game looks they it came out of the early PS2 era... tbh, it.. kind of makes me feel a bit nostalgic for the early PS1/PS2 era of Looney Toons games. The "lack of finishing touches" look kinda works for me in a strange way. LOL
