Brilliant and apt review, Varun. At this point the NS400Z looks like a cocktail of ketchup and milk. Very questionable design choices and has nothing to offer that makes a significant difference, other than the price - which is a weird move because there's so many options and young Indians do not mind paying a little extra for a good motorcycle. Also, it's a shame that they kept the rear indicator set-up, it sticks out and is prone to breaking easily.
Consider the price and don't say much. Company like Bajaj has always studied the customer well, they know what they are doing. Waiting for RS400Z , looks are subjecting but Bajaj if you are reading please keep that into consideration that something needs change like better MID and looks.

Cost reduction seems a good and valid reason but the design aspects should have been more appealing. After all people would have been ready to spend 50k more for this bike. Doing this would have made bajaj dominating in 400cc category.
Honestly this just doesn't feel a premium motorcycle, An Aluminium swing arm wouldn't have taken a toll on the price tag. Also, 150 section rear tyre with option of Apollo Alpha would spice up things. To sum it up as whole BAJAJ made an iPhone Se with flagship processor and cheap build and other specifications.

If you replace the tyres of the NS200 with 110 at front and 140 at the back 😅😅😅😅. One thing more...NS125, NS160, NS200 and NS400... Bajaj claims to dare by producing similar design philosophy with all their NS products....Cut copy paste is their daring philosophy 😅😅
This is what we feel too! The aluminium swingarm missing is still okay but the rest is a problem.
I am not a Bajaj fan boy but I love Pulsar ❤❤❤and NS just 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
👏👏👏
I am from Brazil I would like to know what the consumption per liter of fuel is? how many kilometers per liter? How much does this bike weigh?
What are your thoughts on TVS 200 4V vs Bajaj pulsar 400z
Two different segments.
Should i bay ktm duke 390 vs pulsar ns400z please answer budget is not a problem 😅
Then go for KTM 390
390 Duke if budget isn’t an issue
Thank-you for your help ❤️ means lots
Well bajaj has targeted an audience who want a commuter looking bike which blends between public real well and i m sold for it. ❤
Literally, i was always looking for a powerful bike which doesn't stand apart from crowd.
When is the booking happening? :D
Better than D400 in terms of power to weight ratio but would still go for ns200 because it's just matured pretty well over the years, as for ns400, well it definitely would be better in future updates
But the price difference is barely anything.
Why you wanna save that 30-40K and Buy a Much shittier bike?
I love this tail lamp.This is not a old it's a gold
Hello, Question. Are the rims the same as the pulsar ?
are they wider ?
or are they the same of the pulsar ns200 ?
also, this is not a production model yet right ?
this is not to be confirmed to be on sale yet right ?
Rims are from the 250 we were told. This is a proper production motorcycle.
I like the ktm/bajaj gearbox more than yamaha...and way more than tvs
Cheers to that!
A Pulsar AS400 will make a lot of sense. Just that it needs to have atleast a little hardware upgrade and shouldn't be just cosmetic.
Loved the video without unnecessary loud music
Cheers Sohit
Is there an Avenger 400 on the cards?
Why not the classic raised clip-ons? 😔
Tbh i think it looks really good.
Niceee
What does Z stand for?
Zip zap zoom
@@powerdriftofficial 😂
ordinary
Zzzzzz 😴
I think its like Dragon Ball Z lol . The Gogeta or Vegito of Bajaj 🤣Funny thing is I just got the 135LS of Pulsar few months back. To buy NS400Z will prolly take me another 10 years. But, yeah loving the first ever bike I got from my own savings❤
Whether the projector setup used is same as N 160/250?
Yes it's the same. And it's an awesome headlight. I got one 250
Projector yes!
I expect a lot that it would be more naked and aggressive looks but when they launched it. nah! Ns 200 is more catchy looks
Its very similar.
Please reply about cruising speed. Is there vibration at 100-110 kmph?
Around 100 is where it feels the best. But beyond that, it doesn't feel good.
@@powerdriftofficial ❤️❤️
Brilliant and apt review, Varun.
At this point the NS400Z looks like a cocktail of ketchup and milk. Very questionable design choices and has nothing to offer that makes a significant difference, other than the price - which is a weird move because there's so many options and young Indians do not mind paying a little extra for a good motorcycle.
Also, it's a shame that they kept the rear indicator set-up, it sticks out and is prone to breaking easily.
Thanks a bunch Sanskaari Purush. Haha, that’s a cool username.
When you use ride by wire system, cruise control is just a button away. It wouldn't add much cost but it would get many customer's attention.
Its not that easy. But sure, it can be done
Consider the price and don't say much. Company like Bajaj has always studied the customer well, they know what they are doing. Waiting for RS400Z , looks are subjecting but Bajaj if you are reading please keep that into consideration that something needs change like better MID and looks.
Sure thing!
Suger spice and everything nice... Nostalgia 😂❤
Hahahaahha
Lovely review!
Thank you! Cheers!
Can we get a comparison video with the other rivals?
What would you want to see it go against?
@@powerdriftofficial r15 LOL
No Thanks ... I'll Stick with D400 ✌🏻😊
Much better handling than domi
If it suits your purpose, please do! 🫰
@@powerdriftofficial I'm So Happy Thanks for your Reply, Bean a #PDArmy Guy for Years 😊
No thanks ill stick with Duke 390 😒
Idk if you already own the bike why would you even consider this
Veri nice review and thank you Bajaj ❤
Thanks for liking
I think you missed one important aspect. How are the brakes? The brakes in my Dominar250 are pathetic. So I'm considering getting this, as it would have much better riding dynamics and handling, and I won't have to pay much.
The NS400 uses organic pads and the bite is surprisingly good!
I like honest review of yours . As compare to other u tuber
Cheers Mrigendra. Hope you have subscribed to our channel .
Another RUclips channel not talking about adjustable levers
We spoke a lot about cost! That should sum up the story 😅
@@powerdriftofficial It is company's decision about the cost but as a RUclips channel you should cover all the features that comes with the bike especially at this price point like you guys do with almost all the vehicles. What surprises me is that it is bajaj's first bike and first pulsar to have adjustable levers yet no channel is talking about it like how it feels and what's the quality of it etc etc. Anyway looking forward for more reviews from you guys!
Dominar has a character of its own. The Beast 😊
That will see a change too!
Is the engine n gear box from old KTM Duke?
From the Domi
Want to book it. but Clunky gearbox is a big no no.
For sure. Wasn't pleasant.
When will get a proper adv with long travel suspension with this engine?
You mean the AS400? 👀
Not everything has changed and different, it's simply a good bike
Why z used in name of bike?? Is any race varient r on the way??
Please check the summary of the video.
This bike have nothing to surprise a biker accept the pricing , i saw mini drag between new 390 and ns 400 , I was shocked to see that even with a pillion 390 easily beat ns400 ( looks k sath power me v hug dia bajaj ne )
Ofcourse it will. That's a lot of horses. They are completely different motorcycles.
@@powerdriftofficial 5-6 hp power difference only, but my point was with a pillion Duke beat NS 😑 that's not cool for a 373cc bike . I think Duke 250 can beat NS in short 🤔
24 bhp n250 beats ktm duke 250 😂, check drag race videos on youtube, and you're talking about 40 bhp pulsar vs duke 250
@@taritcodytIt depends on rider bro!!
I was anticipating the old 390 engine but still its good😊😊
We were too!
Cost reduction seems a good and valid reason but the design aspects should have been more appealing. After all people would have been ready to spend 50k more for this bike. Doing this would have made bajaj dominating in 400cc category.
Yeah but we guess cost was a big factor in making this motorcycle
is the refinement of the engine really bad or is it something we can live with?
VP isn’t a big fan of
HERO MAVRICK = 20 Year old design - Looks pathetic.
PULSAR NS = 20 Year old design - STILL looks way ahead! 😂
Wrong window 😅
@@powerdriftofficial wrong channel 🤣🤣🤣
Sir, do you have vibration problem
Honestly this just doesn't feel a premium motorcycle, An Aluminium swing arm wouldn't have taken a toll on the price tag.
Also, 150 section rear tyre with option of Apollo Alpha would spice up things.
To sum it up as whole BAJAJ made an iPhone Se with flagship processor and cheap build and other specifications.
Bajaj could have done a lot of things! But like VP said, cost was a big factor.
Doesn't feel premium because it isn't. It's 1.85L. Even R15 costs more. Pulsar is power for the masses not power for the top 1%.
It comfortable for stunt?
We saw a stunt show during the launch and the stunters looked comfortable but they had done changes. Bigger sprocket for example
RESPECT BUTTON ✅ FOR THE CAMERAMAN 📸 AND EDITORS💹♥️♥️
Thanks Fahad!
I only wish to see varun now that shumi and kartikeya is no more at powerdrift❤
VP is around yes :D
Great value for money 💰💰💰
Cheers!
What's about off road test with off road mode?? When will it be out
Not happening

This is one of those very few less exciting videos from PD I have watched. Pulsur 400z is such a disappointment as well. May be our expectations are high. I remember the review of PD for NS 200 back in 2018 or 2017 which made me buy ns200. And I enjoyed the bike thoroughly for couple of years.
In the name of Cost, its a sin to disappoint NS fans. BTW Thanks for the video.
You mentioned a keyword there - REVIEW! Although, we have titled it that, this was a First Ride. We will get back those cinematic visuals for our full review and the comparo too.
first 8 seconds sounded so very good
