    Just have to say this Jay.
    You're the only channel with this certain feel that you are directly talking to me.
    Cracking silly jokes and the overall video gives such a nice homely vibe.
    Edit: Thankyou for noticing me Jay senpai.

    I must say I am extremely pleased with Fractal Design's after-sale services. They shipped me replacement parts on two separate occasions via priority shipping from Sweden to Singapore (where I live) absolutely FREE of charge. Not many questions were asked; they only asked for the case serial number, my address, and my permission for receiving the replacement parts from them. Absolutely impressed.
    Thanks Josh!

    • @ehseahla
      @ehseahla 6 лет назад

      Yea, it's a really generous gesture. Win-win situation too; customers happy = free ads for them like these comments, haha!
      It must be costly to run such comprehensive after-sale services. So to keep them afloat, the least I could do is to put in good words for them, and recommend my friends and family to opt for FD parts wherever available :)

    I like Jays channel because they plan things out, spend ages picking parts, go to put it together.. and it doesn't fit!
    They don't cut that out or lie, they show it and how they work around it and that realism is great. Things don't always go to plan.

    Jay, you are the first of many influencers that made me start to build my first computer back in my late teens. I am 26 years old and built many PC’s for myself and family members. I just recently upgraded my system to the 3900x and I became brave to try a ITX build. ATX is a great size to start for beginners but ITX is much more tight but it’s workable. I never done custom liquid cooling before but it sounds like a next milestone step for me. Thank you JayzTwoCents 😎

  • @coralinealgae

    I've never been a fan of RGB builds, but this one is different. I think it's actually RGB fans that I don't care for. This build is beautiful. All the lights are coming from inside the case. It looks much than the PCs with RGB fans throwing light from the front, sides and back of the case.

    • @jyveturkey1894
      @jyveturkey1894 6 лет назад +1

      coralinealgae right there with you. Not a 'fan' of rgb fans. Rgb should be accent lighting. Strips hidden to light up the case from behind. Not thrown in your face with fans.

    • @pickleadaykeepsthedoctoraway
      @pickleadaykeepsthedoctoraway 6 лет назад

      I like the idea of RGB lighting, because you can change the color to suit your mood or new build without needing to buy new parts. However the whole lighting settings (breathing, strobing, etc) are so fucking annoying and LOUD visually, I don't know how people play in the same room with one. Constantly seeing lights moving in my peripheral vision causes my brain to think it detects movement (i.e. something is next to me) which is terrible for immersion.
      Solid colors that don't change, or the whole system changes over time gradually (Like it goes from one color scheme to the next over the course of say 30 minutes or whatever) are my shit. I like looking at PCBs, I like the engineering aspect, I like the design aspect (well sometimes...). People who brag about not caring what the hardware looks like seems odd to me. I get not caring about how your hardware looks, but the active bragging about it is what strikes me as odd, the active disdain for those who do care what the stuff looks like is even odder. Frankly I get along better with the person who RGBS ERRAYTHANG than the jaded asshole who actively seeks out ways to tell everyone how they're superior for not caring about the looks of their PC (ironic they feel the need to go around telling people they don't care). Then the worst people, people who act like RGBs somehow ruin a product completely - Do they not realize they can turn off RGBs far easier than other forms that would have normally been on the product anyway? Instead of solid LEDs that can't be turned off without ripping them out which were featured on pretty much all high end consumer products have now been replaced with something that gives you actual options. People act like they're paying massive premiums for high end products with RGB. There is a big distinction between RGB products, and products that have RGBs. There are definitely tons of products that are RGB first, hardware second, in which case you're definitely paying a premium for RGB... Which is to be expected.
      Sorry got into a little rant...

    • @ghostrider2214
      @ghostrider2214 6 лет назад +1

      True imo rgb is just vomited on everything and is quite annoying. This build while having tons of parts with rgb somehow maintains a very minimalistic feel. Only rgb I use is my mouse when switching profiles orange for web browsing, blue for game macros, green for shooters.

    I have to say Jay (no rhyme intended), when I first saw your channel, I didn’t know what to expect, just thought you were another guy who hopped on the custom PC building wagon. But I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your content, started with your views on the 3770k, and now watching this among many other videos in between, that are actually inspiring me a lot. You’re a normal dude with high aspirations, and cut up regularly, keeping things real. I really take what you say into consideration, your experience shows. I always have something to take with me with each video I watch. Thank you for all that you and your crew does. Keep it real, and keep it going!

    Nice to see an employee of a case company actually building a pc, with the crap some case manufacturers put out, you do have to wonder. He’s very human too, which helps. Not only is this excellent marketing, it’s also enjoyable and informative to watch. Some nice editing too. Thanks guys. Thinking of getting the white TG R6 but very interested in the upcoming Lian Li 011 Dynamic, any advice welcome.

      Dr Lulz I think that's how marketing should be there is a way companies think their marketing should be just bragging about their products and talking down to others sure you can get some people over to buy your stuff but you got the other companies saying yeah we have great stuff but not only are you buying great stuff your buying into a company that are real people that do the samethings you do and understand what your looking for. Those are the companies that get my money.

    My very first build (November of 2010) I had about $3,000 worth of components. I spent a good 6 hours putting it all together. I went to turn in on...and NOTHING. My heart sank. I felt like I was going to throw up. I resolved to take it in to the local computer shop in the morning and have them sort it all out. A couple hours later before bed I went out to check the drive for moose (I lived in Alaska). When I turned on the light to the driveway I also turned on THE TWO WAY OUTLET that my computer was plugged into...and it booted up! Holy crap was I happy.

    I completely understand when they talk about getting into a smaller system. I had built a NZXT 200 I for my brother. It was a complete Hardline water loop with a CPU and GPU block. When I finish assembling the system for the third time it didn't want to power on. I thought I had bricked a z370 strix. So I proceeded to call in its warranty completely drain the water loop which was a pain in such a small area took everything out and then realized one of the power cords had came undone inside the system. I then proceeded to drink myself into a hole because of all the stress after I reassemble it.
    Edit: I thought i bricked it because some of the lights were working and according to the trouble shooting guides it was the same signs of a bricked board. I had testing it before i build the loop and it worked fine. Until it didnt.

    Built my first PC using your channel, the tips you gave for troubleshooting were extremely helpful when I couldn't get my SLI GTX 1080 rig to boot up. It took a couple of days to figure it out (noob alert!), but I got it working in the end. I hope to build my first water-cooled rig once my current rig starts show it's age, but that isn't gonna be for a while. This video is truly inspiring for me! :)

      Even slouching he seems a fair bit taller than Jay. I'd say Jay is right around a solid 6'3" if you watch his Terry Crews video, though they were wearing shoes I doubt it would make a 1" difference. I'll say the 6'4" for Jay is the extra inch most guys give themselves for whatever reason.
      With Camera angles and all, I'd say Josh is probably 6'5"-6'7" if we say Jay is 6'3". It's hard because Josh doesn't have good posture, and not to mention both Josh and Jay tower over the crew so the camera angles don't help. Well Jay's posture isn't the greatest either, so it's generally hard to tell. Maybe Jay is 6'4" if he really tries to not slouch, but that's not really a standing height if you have to try hard to stand straight. It's kind of like wearing shoes and adding that to your height, it's not exactly fair. Worse even if they can't even stand up to their 'complete' height without assistance (difference standing in the middle of the room vs standing with your back to the wall to measure height).

    The intake flow for that monoblock is supposed to be the left opening. The output is supposed to be the center valve. This setup is reversed and as a result will increase pressure in the line.

    Not working with water cooling a PC but doing home plumbing I can guarantee you that if you think you have every fitting you need to do a job you have at least 3 more trips to the hardware store (tech shop in your case) to get more fittings.

    fractal josh is definitely good at his job. haven't bought anything from fractal design, but i intend to just because of how much charisma that dude exudes, and i've seen him around since linus's garage. just haven't needed anything where i liked my fractal design options, but i am going to be getting rgb fans soon, hmm. but none from fractal it looks like. maybe use their fan controller, looks cool and my case has a solid front door so you can't see the bays, i got the corsair r303 with obsidian grommets and window side pannel, fit perfect.

    about a year ago I built my rig thanks to you, it was your videos that gave me the confidence to go for it. I recently used the affiliate link for the compu cleaner and that thing is awesome! Mostly I'm glad i could finally give something back, even if it's only a small kickback. Thanks Jay, really thanks.

    I think that tube bending should be done in a well ventilated place possibly outside on a nice warm day as you don't want to be inhaling endocrine disrupter, for an OS GhostBSD is stable and just works that is why Apple Corp used it as the basis for their Sierra build of OS X.
