I find it interesting how the servicing intervals are different between North America and Europe. In North America Oil changes are every 10-15,000km
Thats how it should be i believe....10.000 km at max. Oil is the last thing u should try to save on.

Thats just wrong, nothing is "locked" in the break in period. You get full power at delivery with 0 Km on the clock.
Its mapped differently until they clean the 2000km service. Also launch control is not active

Hey there! I bought the same one in Switzerland. There is a Service included (10 years). But oil and stuff is not included.

I'd not wait that long in between. 10km max. You can only help by changing more frequently.
When I asked the dealer in Sweden about that they said that first service is included and free of charge. So really strange that you needed to pay for it in your country!?
So expensive... It's just an oil change, now even a regular service.
And 30000km until next oil change, no mechanic would recomend that.

There is NO way anyone should run a modern performance car for 30,000 kilometres until the next oil change.
Not that you'll keep it that long, but I would recommend you have the oil changed every 10,000 kilometres, or 14,000 at the very max.
Id doesn't matter if BMW or any car manufacturer tell you that 30k is OK... it is NOT.
Keep in mind, that in this case BMW, only have the cars warranty period in mind and will make sure it doesn't have any problems as much as they can for the warranty period.
Don't believe me... ask any good mechanic what they think of 30,000 kilometre oil change intervals...
In Switzerland 10 years or 100tkm free service.
What a car to have.But…….Of all the colours you could have had,you got it in that dull colour.🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ It doesn’t do that car justice in MY OPINION! But each to their own,and it’s your car.Enjoy driving it,as I’m sure you will.

I have my first test day planned this Monday with M3 Touring, excited, waiting for it, but 680 franks for 2000 km service is.... sorry to say, a ripoff, even for M line cars. Neither the material, neither work hours required cost this much and from the guys who service their M's this is 30% or even double depending where you take your car for first service... imo waaaay to much, but then again, not my money :)))

Cost?? BMW covers all the cost of service until the warranty expires in USA. That’s ridiculous if they charge you anything!!!!!
You got ripped off BMW does not charge for any service for 4yrs 50,000 miles. Even wiper blades. They will even pick the car up and leave you a loaner car.😂😂😂😂😂

600.- for few liters oil and a filter, wayyyyy to much! Thats what you pay for a regular inspection and service, not just an oilchange. Ripoff
