A 2024 technology, state-of-the-art nuclear power plant would be a great addition to Paraguay's energy stability, and would add on top of their energy exportation revenue. And it doesn't have to be something on a huge scale - under 1000 gross megawatts - placed in the Chaca - strategically away from the dam and populations - with main lines feeding into Asuncion. You don't "pidgeon hole" yourself into one form of energy production as a nation. I hope Paraguay has alternative, redundant energy plans for the future.

Living in Paraguay doesn't feel like living in different parts of Latin America. It is easy for Americans and Europeans to blend in.
